It has its moments where it bares its drawbacks with muddy controls and foggy direction. Mostly though, Quantum Break stays the course and is easily Xbox One’s newest piece of eye candy. A system seller? Probably not. A must-play for a system owner? Absolutely.

I just wanted to be more involved and play as these characters with fantastic abilities. While special powers, gods and demons are nothing really new, the themes within Tokyo Babel could make an awesome video game, as a digital manga, it’s somewhat average.

I had a blast playing JumpJet T-Rex, with its vibrant visual style and strong level design. The controls are simple, feel easy to get a hang of and feel very responsive.

If the rest of its content drops are as good as this, it could end up being one of the better Microsoft platform exclusives.

Vortex Attack provides challenging and fun gameplay with an arcade mode that relies on repetition but delivers on replayability.

Its bright, innocent aesthetic gives it unmistakable charm, the uneventful game play in Bard’s Gold doesn’t let me justify a rating higher than “Average.”

Blood Alloy does have some good aspects, which makes it enjoyable for short play sessions but the progression and content is lacking depth and purpose.

So far this is my favorite game from this collection and I’ll definitely return to it a number of times. It’s fun both alone and with a friend, has an actual plot, doesn’t get repetitive, and genuinely stands up to games made today on a number of levels. Not the best game you can buy, but certainly an excellent one.

A game that invokes nostalgia is one that we can all look fondly on, and FreezeMe incorporates some of its own style in, making this game feel like a new adventure. Perhaps too much Mario 64 can be felt in this game, which kind of holds the game back from going in to its own realm of fun, but it does not stop the player from experiencing a joyful adventure.

There is plenty of gameplay here thanks to all the game modes. If you’re not a fan of word games then it’s probably not for you but if you like your games to be a bit more intellectually stimulating then its certainly worth a try.

It pales in comparison to Minecraft, and lacks the originality it needs. If this game had been released a year or two earlier, it would have been received better, but in a world where many companies have tried to make Minecraft 2.0, this game just does not have what it takes to be included in your game library.

It might not have the depth to match Street Fighter or Tekken, but there is still plenty here for both casual and hardcore fans of the genre to enjoy.

If you have a New 3DS, I really can’t recommend, Hyrule Warriors Legends enough; it’s gorgeous to look at, runs beautifully and is home to an absolute mountain of content. Yes, its still home to the same core Musou gameplay as always, but it has been refined to within an inch of its life here and the ability to swap between characters on the go really does add an exciting new element to the gameplay. Sadly, if you’ve got a bog standard 3DS/2DS then, well, perhaps you should give this a miss. The content is all there, but it runs poorly and doesn’t look nearly as good.

Bounce Rescue is a neat little game. It’s not the longest or the most complex game in the world but it offers something that’s most important: good fun. Its charming and classic graphics are enough to charm anybody and the gameplay is solid. Sure your bouncy character takes a little getting used to, but bouncing is the name of the game and once you adjust it’s really fun. I can whole heartedly recommend it to anybody who is a fan of platforming games.

R.B.I. Baseball 16 seems like a game specifically designed for fans of the sport and nobody else, but due to some questionable gameplay mechanics and a total lack of respect for the person wielding the controller, it turns out to be a game that only gluttons for punishment will find appealing. A challenge is all well and good, but the player needs to be given the tools to succeed first.

The Chronicles of Teddy is an absolutely fantastic game despite these flaws. I loved every moment of the charming, musical platformer. Each facet of the game, even if its lifted from another genre, come together to create what is easily one of the most unique Indie games available for the PlayStation 4. You owe it to yourself to at least give this game a good try.

The Keep is an engrossing, pocket-sized dungeon-crawler that, despite being somewhat overly familiar, is a genuine pleasure to play. If you’re on the look-out for a healthy dose of nostalgia, or hankering for a slow, methodical crawl through the cruel, dark depths of arachnid-infested dungeons, then The Keep may well be just what the witch doctor ordered.

The gameplay in INFRA may be something you’ll never enjoy, but you’ll never know until you give it a try. It’s different, refreshing and original with good graphics and a great soundtrack. The pace depends on your patience for puzzle solving however, and you might find that there’s not much variation on that front.

It won’t take long for you to be balled over by the sheer joy of hitting someone in the face with a ball. Sure it’s technically or graphically not going to win anything but Stikbold! A Dodgeball Adventure is definitely one to add to the party collection.

Don’t get me wrong Good Robot is incredible and I’m going to be playing it well after this review but the price in my opinion holds it back a bit. It easily scores 8/10 but would i buy it, with my money.. sadly not.

Toy Defense offers a great take on puzzle-strategy with terrific components like pause and fast-forward that keep the momentum going. The core gameplay factor itself is sadly as typical as you can get making the experience last a bit less than you would hope, yet the addictive achievement list makes you want to jump straight back into the front line.

The mechanics are awkward, the art design is far too busy and the gameplay is, at times, borderline schizophrenic. It’s far from terrible, but Hamster’s latest really is one for video game historians only.

Overall I had a great experience playing this game despite the urge to rage quit from time to time, which is to be expected with a game such as Enter the Gungeon. This is a great little indie title with great elements of combat and exploration.

Bus Simulator 16 is a lifeless, soulless lie of a simulator; and I use the term ‘simulator’ in the loosest possible way. The buses handle like jumbo jets and the business management side of things is a complete joke.
