The dungeons are undoubtedly bland and, by genre standards, there is no getting around the fact that, Ray Gigant is relatively easy, but if you’re looking for a more story driven adventure, one with great characters and fantastic production values, you won’t go far wrong with, Experience Inc.’s unique and largely successful coming together of visual novel and dungeon crawler.

People, you need this game. I cannot tell you enough, it is a game that is worthy of your time. It is one of those games you feel envelope you, suck you in and hold you close. It will stick with you long after the roll of the credits; Alone With You truly is a special game.

The amount of freedom is a huge plus point, however, this is a port, so don’t expect 60fps and amazing graphics.

Picross e6 would be a weird place for a Picross virgin to take the plunge.

I would say this sits nicely with the better puzzle games on the 3DS Eshop myself and would recommend it to people looking for a unique puzzle experience.

Overall Minecraft: Story Mode – Episode 5: Order Up! has done a nice job of not only having a well thought out contained narrative, but also opens the doors for future installments.

The Jetpack does add a boost to the gameplay, and you do feel badass swooping around as Rico, but the overall experience does feel a tad too short – as soon as you begin to get into the game it is over, and this does feel like a real shame.

No, the Inheritance DLC doesn’t stray far from the feeling the base game gives, but it is definitely it’s own, separate story with its own protagonist and endings. If you didn’t enjoy the main game, you won’t enjoy this. But if you are like me and found the way the game tells its story interesting and worth the time to play through, then this DLC is perfect for you.

It provides an enjoyable enough experience, but for those looking for a video game adaptation of the show, this simply isn’t it. This is more like the show repurposed and told through static screenshots and a lot of pressing X.

Action Henk may lack the visual appeal of the games it aspires to be, but underneath is a surprisingly addictive experience that certainly extends the life of the simple idea it has been built upon. Featuring some decent platforming physics and an inviting world to explore, your frustration will come and go in frequent measures as you mutter to yourself “Just one more go” time and time again.

All of the great things about the game, the music, the cutesy indie art design, the concept, and the humor…all overshadowed by a difficulty curve so steep that Lance Armstrong couldn’t bike up it if he was in his blood-doping addled prime.

The amount of variety that comes with the clubs is outstanding and the developers have outdone themselves with this feature, which I believe makes it a worthwhile purchase.

Amazing Princess Sarah, a decent little game, with some interesting gameplay ideas and character design...The game does get repetitive and frustrating at times and you probably wont want to play through it more than once, despite the added extras.

The move to third person shooter isn’t a wholly successful one, but despite the issues inherent to the core design of this ill-advised but nonetheless enjoyable spin-off, Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls is a journey worth taking for fans of the series.

Overall I have to say that I really enjoyed my time with Republique. At first glance it may look pretty straightforward but it really does offer something unique. It takes what makes stealth games so great and adds a new twist on perspective.

I want nothing more than to see the formula flourish into something amazing, but Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition is incapable of doing that. Although, I’m not opposed to seeing Vigil Games take another shot at it with a third entry.

Although I don’t agree with the £15.99 price tag for a 3D rerelease of a game that’s older than me, Steel Empire for Nintendo 3DS is a good game that any fan of old school shoot ‘em ups is sure to enjoy.

There are moments in the game where I was glued to my Vita but it’s unfortunately offset by some really annoying characters whose actions and words really got on my wick and only helped to undermine what is a pretty moving and poignant story.

Screencheat is a very original game. The thing I enjoy most about it is that you can be one of the best players at first person shooters but the moment you play this game, that all changes.

A simple thing like a shield pick up could have made this game more accessible to a larger audience. Forgoing that, just a checkpoint when you’ve completed a task so you don’t have to repeat them all every time you die as it gets monotonous. If you can get past that and have the skills and patience required then this is a great game for those looking for that next seemingly impossible challenge.

Megadimension Neptunia VII breaks away from the formula and crafts a tale that had me laughing quite often, and gameplay that had me on my feet and scratching the back of my head in bewilderment over my next move.
