Heroes of loot is worth giving a go as it manages to capture a perfect blend of dungeon crawling and shooting that feels extremely satisfying.

This is one of the best games I’ve played in years, it seems to have been made to the specifications of my exact sensibilities. But I’d be remiss to not mention how essentially damaged the finer points are.

Klaus is a memorable platform game that combines a unique art style with interesting game mechanics, it’s just lacking abit of that soul which would make Klaus a more entertaining title to play.

Nova-111 has some good things going for it, especially the vibrant style and enemy variation. I also enjoyed some of the combat elements. I thought that the game wasn’t as strong in terms of level structure or design and I wasn’t keen on the restricted field of vision.

Teslagrad is a remarkable achievement that will easily eat up your hours and days.

It may be short but it is really sweet.

The conclusion couldn’t be more underwhelming or disappointing if they’d tried.

It gets right what games like FarmVille got wrong.

This is a truly unique experience with a narrative deserving of the accolades it’s received. The Magic Circle: Gold Edition is an enchanting game with some fresh concepts that I would like to see more of in this genre.

American Truck Simulator is as hard-core as a truck simulator gets.

Concrete Jungle has a very nice look, the interface works well, you can control the game with mouse/keyboard or with a game-pad.

Don’t Die, Mr. Robot! is a quick fire arcade game that is surprisingly good fun in small bursts. As the sort of game that can be returned to over and over again, particularly after a long hiatus, it’ll be a welcome mainstay for your PS Vita library for quite some time. The classic aesthetics of the game along with some variety will remind of lost afternoons in the arcade, without gobbling up your loose change at the same time.

Unravel is beautiful platform that really touches the heart of fans.

Nevertheless, if you’re in the mood for a 16-bit Guy Ritchie style 2D shoot-em-up, you could do far worse than pulling the trigger on this one.

As entertaining as the combat might be, like everything else in Darksiders 2, it’s never quite as good as any of the games that it so brazenly imitates. And that’s the big problem isn’t it – the puzzles, the traversal, the visuals, the story – it has all been done better somewhere else.

Legendary.

Ultimately, Unepic is a solid little RPG with a ton of heart. It’s playful humour is refreshing, it’s filled to the brim with content and there’s a lot of depth beneath it’s deceptively simple veneer. For those looking for a deep RPG adventure a little off the beaten track, Unepic is ready when you are.

But for all it’s faults, Satellite Reign might still be worth exploring as a mechanical experience if you can handle some rough edges and make your own narrative.

Overall the game offers something unique and worthwhile despite having its downfalls. The seasons mechanic works well but the puzzles feel mundane and uninspired at times.

If you're willing to immerse yourself in some very dark, uncomfortable places – the hopeless and suffocating thoughts of a lonely man riddled with depression – then this fascinating, bonecrushing portrait of a man on the edge may very well be an experience for you. Be warned – Actual Sunlight is definitely not for the faint of heart.

Battlezone 98 Redux prevails because it keeps the identity of the original, without alienating any modern audiences. The game shows its age in terms of its graphics, its controls, and its story. But the timeless blend of action and strategy are what makes this game stay fresh, and with the strategy genre becoming stale with each new release, perhaps this remaster is just what it needs to revitalise it.

The overall aesthetic of the game is very impressive, and the Digimon look as amazing as ever.

Norn9: Var Commons proves another fine entry into this most obscure of sub-genres and possibly the most approachable yet thanks to its unique setting and themes. This is still a romantic adventure at heart, but this time, there is plenty of sci-fi to go with all of the love and romance that the genre is famous for.

For those aching for a true slice of traditional gaming from yesteryear, I suggest you at least try the demo available on Steam.

Worms is back, Worms is here to stay, and it is a lot of laughs to boot. Buy it, and prepare yourself for one fun filled night of gaming, as you wont want to turn it off.

It won’t take long for you to be balled over by the sheer joy of hitting someone in the face with a ball. Sure it’s technically or graphically not going to win anything but Stikbold! A Dodgeball Adventure is definitely one to add to the party collection.

Equipped with interesting characters and vast environments to explore, there is much more here than executing recipes and filling that mysterious book.

Some may be put off by the Zombie theme but I for one am glad I have put in the time and think Zombie Defense is a solid buy.
