Grow Up is a great game which has taken what made the first game so enjoyable and has added some fun new abilities and mechanics to make exploration even more enjoyable.

While disappointingly forgettable and undeniably safe, the Assassin’s Creed: Chronicles Trilogy collection is a nonetheless solid selection of more action oriented and small-scale stealth adventures.

Fortified! is a good game. The art style is great, and really well done. The enemies are pretty basic but fit the bill nicely, and if you can get together a group to play with, this game could easily be worth it’s budget price.

This game is enjoyable, especially in co-op with a friend where one player can take on the role of spy and the other, hacker. However if you’re a gamer who has a specific focus on graphics and you cannot look past the flaws then it might not be the best game at least until the game is (hopefully) polished up a little.

It might not have the highest production values, the core gameplay is undeniably repetitive and the world created can’t really compete with the depth and detail of its more illustrious inspiration, but despite these issues, Final Fantasy Explorers remains a resolutely enjoyable interpretation of the genre.

For a game with such immersive storytelling and decision-making, I thought it could perhaps have benefited from a little more background music to add to the sense of grand adventure. Maybe even a little bit of noise from the surrounding environment – such as the sounds of a busy market town or the chirping of crickets in the undergrowth at night. In fact I was quite surprised that this kind of embellishment was left out of the game, as it would have been a nice touch for a heightened sense of immersion.

I admit, the idea of Michonne getting her own series is so thin you could stick a pen through it, but if anyone can give it depth it’s Telltale.

The problem is that sometimes that huge depth feels a little empty. I can’t put a finger on why, but maybe it’s because it’s predecessors had buckets of personality and that the concept here isn’t completely original. Nevertheless Ashes of The Singularity is not to be missed by anyone who has ever played any RTS game. It is larger than large and exciting to play, ushering in a new benchmark in real-time strategy.

What Song of the Deep does have in heart, it just can’t quite make up for it’s wonky physics and sloppy mechanics.

Unfortunately, there are better titles out there and the lack of identity was a real issue for me.

Despite offering very little in the way of genuinely new content, God Eater 2: Rage Burst stands comfortably as one of the finest Monster Hunter Clones on the market.

I don’t think there is any other way to say it, Nightmares from the Deep 2: The Siren’s Call is just as good as most of games from the same vein.

The game for what it is a very charming and entertaining trip if you’re willing to go through some repetitive gameplay.

If you’re a fan of torturing foolish NPCs, perhaps in games like Poltergeist: A Pixelated Horror, or locking the butler in the fridge back in Tomb Raider 2, then you’re going to have some fun with Deception IV: The Nightmare Princess. It takes some patience to deal with its quirks, and it’s not likely to be something which you can play for hours at a time, but it’s still well worth a look.

Lumini has amazing graphics, beautiful music, and the Lumini are very sweet. The game is relaxing, but there is just not enough to do in the game. I found myself getting bored really fast.

The competitive multiplayer won’t keep you busy for long and the lack of online co-op is certainly a disappointment, but despite these relatively minor issues, the Claeys Brothers’ throwback run and gun shooter, Guns, Gore & Cannoli is a fantastic update of the Metal Slug template and brilliant shooter in its own right.

SimplePlanes is on the up with rocket speed, especially with the recent addition of land vehicles, broadening their horizons if you will (no weak-ass pun intended).

Once you have mastered the new controls, which are only slightly tweaked, it’s a fun experience that new players and fans of the original will enjoy. It’s a shame that the game didn’t make its return earlier in the Wii U’s life cycle as I see it as a pretty decent exclusive title.

I really enjoyed Cobalt, mainly due to the slick gameplay. The game feels hectic, fast-paced and it has some funny moments. The levels and enemies are well thought out and designed, and I really enjoyed playing around with various weapons to destroy enemies. It will take a bit of time getting used to the controls and movement, but once you get it, it feels awesome. I would certainly recommend this game if you like a challenge, that feels rewarding.

It’s not quite in the same league as the first two Resident Evil titles and is a far cry from replicating the quality of Resident Evil 4 (what does?), but judged upon its own merits, this is a solid entry into the survival horror genre, albeit, one with better puzzles than scares.

From the moment the wallpaper popped onto my PS4 screen, the manga influence took centre stage. It continued to be that way as I pressed start, with the overall in-game graphics beautifully cell-shaded, mimicking the appearance of an anime.

Overall, there isn’t much going on in Sheltered, other than it being a not-so-straightforward survival simulator/resource management game. Sheltered doesn’t have much else to offer in terms of gameplay.
