I loved Type:Rider and I’m not sure if the reason for this is my utter nerdiness when it comes to learning about the English language. However, no matter your interest in learning about fonts, this is a fun and peaceful game that is great for sitting back and relaxing while still playing your PS4. Type:Rider is one of the best puzzle games I’ve played this year and I can’t wait to get back to it.

Overall, there may be a surprising amount of content to unlock, but the gameplay just isn’t diverse enough to really hold a player’s attention for long. It’s a game that would perhaps be enjoyed more thoroughly by younger players, but for the rest of the gaming community, Catlateral Damage is one that’s probably better off played in short bursts.

I really appreciate Neverwinter for what it is: a fun, easy-to-pick-up MMO that takes your hand and shows you the incredible and vast landscape of a genre I’ve been afraid to take my first proper steps into. If you can gather a few friends to create your own guild with, this could well be an action-MMORPG to really get lost in.

Yes, there’s only three game modes (two of which are simple free-for all’s) and only five maps for each. It isn’t a game many will play for hours on end but if you’ve got the extra controllers it’s a great way to battle your friends like it’s the ’90s again.

Overall Cricket Captain 2016 is a game that will appeal to a small minority of people, if you have the patience and knowledge, you can really see the potential this game holds with its deep simulation and micromanagement, however for the casual Cricket fan this game is far too convoluted and menu heavy to recommend. Couple that with a career mode that lacks any real direction and you get a simulation game that just doesn’t quite fit the bill for me.

Battlezone 98 Redux prevails because it keeps the identity of the original, without alienating any modern audiences. The game shows its age in terms of its graphics, its controls, and its story. Breached is a difficult game to classify. It would be easy to peg it as a “survival game”, but the atmosphere and mechanical simplicity disqualify that somewhat.
