Kagura and Saaya are schoolgirl sisters raised together by the Vampiric Clan, and rank among their strongest warriors. Aya and Saki are assassin sisters descended from the rival Baneful Bloodline, and represent their lineage with esteem.
Now, these four must learn to fight together against an undead army. Brought under one banner known as the Zombie Punitive Force, these blood enemies will have to reach a mutual understanding in order to save the world as we know it.
And as long as theyre working together, they might as well do it in style
Onechanbara Z2: Chaos is the latest entry in the Onechanbara series. Two sets of buxom vampire sisters battle through over a dozen stages of high-octane real-time swordplay. Fight off the invasion in gruesome detail, occasionally transforming into a demon for short bursts of added power and speed. Enjoy the gameplay experience with the original Japanese voices or for the first time in series history a full English dub.

I really enjoyed my time playing Onechanbara Z2: Chaos, probably way more than I should have. This is one of the most over the top games I have played in a long time and because of that it’s highly memorable.

Onechanbara' saga finally arrives to PC, but the experience is ruined by a very poor graphic and a flat gameplay.

People complain that the graphics of the environment is bad, and it's true. The design of the main characters and the enemies is great.

This game puts its main focus on the combat system and does it in a great way. Each character has different move sets. Over 60 skills. Tons of items and weapons, each of which has its own bonuses. So you can customize the combat mode to your own needs and preferences.

(This version isn't perfect and tends to crash randomly, but in my experience it wasn't very often.) Expand

The gameplay was pretty fun. The game should have been longer to allow you to try more combat upgrades before finishing the game. The graphicsThe gameplay was pretty fun. The game should have been longer to allow you to try more combat upgrades before finishing the game. The graphics are weak considering that this only released on PS4 and PC. I didn't notice any bugs or glitches while playing but I was disappointed to find that the game didn't support resolutions higher than 1080p. Expand

This is a hack n slash kind off game, it is better if you play with a controller rather than mouse and keyboard, still, the controller support is not that good.
Visually is ok... the environments are pretty linear and looks like they could belong to the ps3 era, as i mention, levels have a tough linear nature offering zero exploration freedom, there will be moments in which the player will got into a large arena to engage into combat with the undead enemies that the game offers.
Character modeling for enemies is not that amazing, in the other hand... the playable characters are well modeled and the render they have looks nice... unfortunately... animations are... awful, well... the lip sync animation is atrocious, characters barely moves their lips and it seems that the voices comes off screen.
The plot is pretty basic, is about a group of hybrid vampires that join forces to destroy an evil entity that has some "sinister" plans for humanity. As mention, the story is not that amazing... i think that the story is not the strongest point of the game, the stronger point of the game that end off cough the attention of gamers are two of the playable characters that are always fighting in bikinis or in bra.
The game gives to the players of change the outfit of the protagonist... but... you have to pay for the outfits, and the worst part is that those outfits are nothing more than cosmetic changes, they wont give more health nor more power... is just a waste of money.
Combat is actually good and pretty fluid, i just didn't like the combat moves of one particular character, i felt it was weak. After killing enemies they will drop some glowing balls that are points that you can use to upgrade your weapons and abilities. There will be boss fights and sub boss fight, some of them will be boring, and some others will be great, specially the final boss.
The game switches from animated in game cinematic to comic panel cinematics with dialog to narrate the story, i do like the voice acting, it is not award nominated stuff but it is solid enough to be believable, again... is a shame that the lip sync animation is bad.
Should you buy and play the game? well... i would say that is totally up to you, the combat is fun and offers a solid voice acting, but is pretty short, easy and with a forgettable story with a custom outfits that you have to pay for and they will not give you any benefit at all.

Favorite Thing: I've always wanted to play a Onechanbara game. The combat is quite flashy and the character design is ... interesting.
Least Favorite Thing: It's all rather mindless. The story is pretty nonexistent and skin deep when they bother with it.
