Super Mario 3D All-Star is possibly the best compilation of platformers ever. It's obvious that Nintendo could have improved these games more, especially Super Mario 64. However, it still maintains the essence of three of the most influential titles in the videogame industry.

Saros is a brilliant evolution of Returnal proving that less can truly be more. It's a gameplay machine, polished to perfection, paired with a distinctive tone, narrative, and story all its own. One of those rare gems that feels timeless, no matter the years. Saros is utterly addictive.

The arrival of the game on PS5 maximizes everything that is Ghost of Tsushima. If his world was precious now it is even more so. Enjoying the game at 60fps or reaching 4K resolution is something that is noticeable from the first minute and that makes this experience touring feudal Japan even greater.

Red Dead Redemption on PC is a testament to the power of timeless design. This version not only preserves the magic of the original, but improves on it in significant ways. The fluidity of the unlocked framerate, the sharpness of 4K resolution, and the improvements to draw distance make this, without a doubt, the best way to experience this modern classic.

Tiny Tina's Wonderland is an ode to tabletop role-playing games that will transport the player to a first person perspective. The casual and humorous approach of Tina fits just perfectly within the game, and with all of the general improvements over Borderlands this spin-off might as well surpass the main game.

Crimson Desert demands patience and isn't afraid to challenge you, but when everything clicks, few games come close. Pywel is one of the most alive and detailed open worlds I've seen in years, the combat becomes deeply rewarding once you master it, boss fights are a genuine spectacle, and the sheer amount of things to discover and do is almost ridiculous. Pearl Abyss took its time with this one, and it shows.

If we talk about soccer simulators, Football Manager 2023 is simply perfect, the problem is that right now there is a ceiling that hasn't been knocked down for several years. For the franchise to really take a step forward, it is necessary to start improving other aspects of the game and continental licenses is a start, although somewhat insufficient. We'll keep waiting.

Dead Space Remake maintains and improves on everything that already made great the original game from 2008, thus bringing back one of the best survival-horror games in the last 20 years. The remake is masterful not only due to the improvements on the visual side, but also because it introduces new gameplay mechanics. AlL in all, it's a noticeable overall upgrade.

NBA 2K21 Next Generation is a massive leap for the basketball franchise, one that comes in many different shapes. First of all, playing in the WNBA is a joy, especially given the introduction of the W. Also, The City is just humongous, and it'll offer plenty to do whether it is against people or even the CPU through challenges. And, of course, the Next Gen power feels amazing, from both a visual and a performance standpoint.

Sometimes it’s difficult to create something terrifying and disturbing without resorting to cheap jump scares, but when the grotesque and horror come together as one, works like Reanimal are born. Tarsier Studios’ latest title has managed to surpass the original Little Nightmares in every way, adding a cooperative mode and refining level design, sound, and an atmosphere that many of the industry’s most popular horror titles could only dream of.

Stray is a game that has surprised me both for the good and for the bad. I expected a game that simply tried to distract us from its failures with the idea that it would be enough to put us in the shoes of an adorable cat. And it has been that, but also more things: my skepticism regarding him has ended up leaving as I saw more of the world he wants to present. In the end, it's ironic that the thing I've fallen least in love with in a game about controlling a cat was, precisely, controlling a cat.

Morbid Metal aims to be one of those games that stands out more for how it plays than for what it tells. Its real-time character-swapping system is what truly sets it apart, and if it manages to maintain variety and depth over the long term, it could become one of the most interesting roguelikes of its generation. A good Pokémon 'copy' that manages to pull off its own personality through the battle system but that, at the same time, carries an obvious problem: it really tries to be an MMORPG, yet in the end it stays as an open world with 'ghost' characters. Even so, overall it is a remarkable turn-based RPG that has a lot of potential. [Early Access Score = 75]
