Remnant: From the Ashes is a game that mixes every trendy mechanic. Shooter, procedural generation, Souls-like combat, online focus… But, somehow, Gunfire manages to make something unique ad fresh that, even with some flaws, is fun ad interesting from the beginning to the end.- Areajugones

Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream is not just one of the best stealth games of recent years; it's an artistic statement about what the genre can achieve when deep narrative, exceptional technical design, and refined mechanics are combined to perfection. River End Games has created something that honors the legacy of the classics while establishing new standards for the future. It's the type of game that makes you remember why you fell in love with tactical stealth in the first place, but with an emotional depth that the genre rarely reaches. For anyone who has enjoyed Commandos, Shadow Tactics, or Desperados, Eriksholm represents the natural evolution of the genre. For new players, it's the perfect introduction to what stealth can offer when executed with absolute mastery.- Areajugones

Probably a remastered edition was not needed now, but for those of you who have not had the pleasure of enjoying both games, it is a great version with a fair price. Otherwise, if you have already played them, better wait for a better deal because they haven’t improved very much compared to the older versions.- Areajugones

Tropico 6 is a safe bet. A sequel that has almost no innovations but manages to feel fresh and funny from the start. El Presidente is back, as good as he has ever been.- Areajugones

Tormented Souls II is the sequel the first installment deserved. Dual Effect listened to critics, polished what was wrong, and amplified what worked. The result is a survival horror game that respects the classic '90s titles without feeling anachronistic, offers a real challenge without constantly frustrating (well, almost), and looks spectacular on PC.- Areajugones

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion is an absolutely key and necessary piece to be able to fully absorb the essence of the Final Fantasy VII remake. Although this game does not have the same depth as the official remake of the first part in terms of changes made, Square Enix has done a phenomenal job to make the figure of Zack Fair enjoy and adapt like a charm in the middle of 2022.- Areajugones

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is a simulator that, despite its flaws, continues to be one of the best flight simulation experiences out there today. The improvement in graphics and detail is impressive, and the level of realism is hard to beat. However, not everything is perfect: inconsistent performance, issues with control configuration, and the lack of some key airports mean that the experience is still not as smooth as it could be.- Areajugones

Little Nightmares is a powerful project that brings a different kind of narrative. It creates lots of feelings with very few resources and, even though its duration is too short, it brings a very positive experience.- Areajugones

Nice job! is the best, or at least, one of the best 'puzzle' titles you can find on Nintendo Switch right now: it's fun, it has personality, everything works. A very original proposal.- Areajugones

Having completed Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, I can confidently say that it will go on as one of 2024's best games. If you are looking for a story full of tension, exciting moments and hard to make choices, as well as great animations and completely awful monsters, then you'll definitely hit the mark with Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden. To sum it up: as a semi-open world RPG video game, it is with no doubt one of the best video games that Don't Nod has ever made.- Areajugones

Call of the Sea could be considered as a narrative puzzle game where the second element is much more relevant than the firs one; although both depend on each other to exist. With a series of puzzles that will take the player into a smooth back and forth between the frustrating process of looking for a solution to the problem and the satisfaction of finding it, Call of the Sea offers a proposal that follows the basic rules of the genre and It is topped off with beautiful art design and a plot that delivers what it promises.- Areajugones

EA returns to get the best fighting simulator in terms of MMA, a demanding and realistic title in the fights that we will have to learn to give our best shot and elevate our fighter to the UFC podium. The novelties of this fourth installment seem enough and will satisfy fans of the genre, although we expected something more in the graphics section, the truth is that UFC 4 is a worthy continuation of the saga.- Areajugones

If we had to sum up Toki Tori 2+ in two words, they would be: simply fun. These words are not chosen randomly, as they describe perfectly what the game reflects: simple but sufficient controls, many challenging puzzles but not too difficult and a technical section that makes getting behind the controller a real pleasure for our senses.- Areajugones

Miasma Chronicles is a good tactical role-playing video game that has little to envy to the great references of the genre. Its combat system full of possibilities and its use of stealth are two compelling reasons not to underestimate this title from the authors of Mutant Year Zero.- Areajugones

WWE 2K26 has established itself as one of the best recent games in the series, offering enough new features to satisfy fans and a standout Showcase mode, though it doesn't quite reach the legendary status of 2K14. Its wide variety of modes and stipulations makes it a very complete and enjoyable installment. However, the introduction of the Ringside Pass and the prevalence of microtransactions could generate controversy within the community.- Areajugones

I’m sure of it: beyond its imperfections and the unfinished business Game Freak has yet to resolve, Pokémon Legends: Z-A marks the first step in a smart direction—one that aligns with what many fans have been asking for over the years and shows particular respect for the legacy it inherits from the most successful franchise in history. I’m convinced we’re looking at one of those special games, one of those one-in-a-million experiments that end up working out. This time, Game Freak, you have my full attention.- Areajugones

I really enjoyed playing Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons. It's a solid beat 'em up that offers a great deal of fun and challenge. If you're a fan of the genre, or if you're looking for a roguelite game with a retro touch, then Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons is an excellent option and if you're one of the completionists you'll have a game for a while. Of course, they could have included more levels because it becomes very short.- Areajugones

Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville is a good third-person shooter and a great Plants vs. Zombies title. The series continues to trust in its own style but seems too comfortable and conservative with this game which, on the other hand, comes with a lot of content for players to enjoy for hours.- Areajugones

Elden Ring Nightreign is unexpected, out of the comfort zone of FromSoftware and yet, they deliver a compelling and unique experience. Although at times frustrating given its randomized nature, Elden Ring Nightreign feels like a breath of fresh air that FromSoftware can still improve on and add more and more content to. Cooperation has never been so key in a Souls-like type experience, and Elden Ring Nightreign is proof that FromSoftware is the only developer able to cause a revolution in the Souls grand scheme of things.- Areajugones

We return to Mineral Town with a great facelift that bets on simplicity of mechanics and simplicity in its menus and staging. We find a very classic Harvest Moon-style adventure, where we lose ourselves for days harvesting and improving our farm, but there is something decaffeinated and empty in these times, being a very brief option in terms of ambition.- Areajugones

NEXT is the step forward that No Man’s Sky needed since it was made available two years ago, the online options as well as the third person perspective are both well received additions, however, completely redefining the procedural system of the game is a very difficult task that, in the end, makes it aim for a particular type of player.- Areajugones

Mario & Luigi: Brotherhood Connection is one of the most complete games of 2024 that you can enjoy on Nintendo Switch. Although it has an interesting variety of content beyond the story, the main thing that stands out is the quality of the content, offering entertainment in abundance. Those who love the RPG genre will feel how the game hooks them, inviting them to continue constantly to reach the highest possible levels. If you are looking for an entertaining story, with minigames, challenges, and charismatic characters, this is the perfect game that will fulfill everything I mention. Nintendo once again hits it off through a wonderful installment of the Mario franchise.- Areajugones
