Elden Ring Nightreign is unexpected, out of the comfort zone of FromSoftware and yet, they deliver a compelling and unique experience. Although at times frustrating given its randomized nature, Elden Ring Nightreign feels like a breath of fresh air that FromSoftware can still improve on and add more and more content to. Cooperation has never been so key in a Souls-like type experience, and Elden Ring Nightreign is proof that FromSoftware is the only developer able to cause a revolution in the Souls grand scheme of things.- Areajugones

Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit is one of the biggest surprises in 2020. It's a product that works perfectly fine from a technological point of view and that has a good design so it can avoid some restrictions derived from being a RC car. The biggest problem of this revolution is that it comes with a big price to pay, so it's not suitable for every wallet.- Areajugones

Treyarch and Activision have managed to achieve with Black Ops 4 exactly what fans were asking for. An addictive multiplayer mode, a bigger than ever zombie experience and a Blackout option that despite its being in the need of improvements, leaves a really good impression. The Call of Duty saga is back for good with a game that will certainly be worthy of your time.- Areajugones

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot establishes itself as a must-buy for all Dragon Ball fans. Although it sometimes falls short of the mark while trying to portray each and every iconic moment in the series, it manages to offer the best representation of the anime in videogames. Also, the gameplay is frantic, fun and visually pleasant, and even though there is sometimes a lack of polish, it stands out as one of the best Dragon Ball Games ever made.- Areajugones

Assassin's Creed Mirage aims for a pretty obvious main objective: to get back to the roots of the franchise, which implies taking away the RPG components that were gradually introduced with the last three entries.Mirage manages to recover the essence and magic of the Assassin's Creed games from the past, especially through its gameplay and plot. If you are one of the nostalgic fans and really needed a trip to the past, Mirage, the city of Baghdad and Basim as the main character are definitely what you were looking for.Although the game clearly speaks to the Assassin's Creed fans from back in the day, it is also designed for newcomers, so you won't need to have completed any other previous entries from the franchise in order to enjoy Mirage.- Areajugones

Nioh 2 expands what's already seen in the original Team Ninja work, offering us new features that give spectacular combat and give it a more technical title than in other games of the genre. Despite its low innovation compared to its predecessor, it has high replayability, and the feeling of playing it according to our own combat style is more marked than ever.- Areajugones

TopSpin 2K25 is definitely the best tennis game you'll find nowadays. The game's main appeal is its MyCareer mode, with tons of game modes that allow your character to grow over time and that will keep TopSpin 2K25 alive for quite some time. The game is properly designed and while it will help you to get into its gameplay rather easily, it will become more challenging the more you advance. In the end, TopSpin 2K25 even achieves something rather difficulT for tennis video games: having unpredictable exchanges.- Areajugones

Dune: Awakening is exactly the type of game the industry needs more of: ambitious, respectful of its source material, and willing to take real creative risks. It's not perfect, and it's definitely not for everyone, but for those who connect with its vision, it offers a genuinely unique experience. If you're looking for a casual survival game you can play an hour here and there, this isn't your game. But if you want to lose yourself in one of the most convincing and complex virtual worlds ever created, Arrakis is waiting for you. Funcom has created something special here: a game that honors both Frank Herbert and the survival genre, and sets new standards for what ambitious MMOs can achieve when developers truly understand their source material.- Areajugones

Mortal Kombat 11 is a major improvement for the franchise in all of its departments. The story mode is both appealing and fun for the player, and the fights are much closer than they used to be. It is, indeed, a delightful experience for the fighting game aficionado.- Areajugones

Slightly Mad Studios returns to the fray with its simulator par excellence, Project CARS 3 arrives loaded with news, becoming a title adapted for all audiences under a gameplay mixed between simulation and arcade that may not satisfy the most purists. The title is entertaining in general lines and we are facing a good continuation of the saga although somewhat decaffeinated in the most purist simulation.- Areajugones

Although Ready or Not offers an intense and unique tactical experience, its focus on depicting real-world events may be too overwhelming for some players. The review weighs the tension and uncertainty of the game against missions that mirror real-life situations, raising crucial questions about sensitivity and ethics in the digital entertainment industry.- Areajugones

Triangle Strategy is an amazing game, but it could be even better if it managed to get rid of the most classic topics of the JRPG genre. Its mechanics completely overshadow everything it wants to tell us; how it is played is a thousand times better than what it is played for. Besides that i really think that this will be one of the best silent games of 2022.- Areajugones

Atlus has managed to make a new version that surpasses the original work in everything (again, because they always do this well with their games). Not only with the obvious improvements at a playable and visual level, but because the new content turns Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance into a product that borders on the label of "new game" and not "new version." One of the best JRPGs of the year and, possibly, the best SMT of the series.- Areajugones

Marvel's Avengers leaves us with a title loaded with a multitude of options and fun with the most powerful heroes in the world. The campaign created by Crystal Dynamics shines and hooks, although the multiplayer mode can become heavy and repetitive after many hours, the room for improvement is vast, although the result for now passes with flying colors.- Areajugones

An excellent video game but not so much as a remaster, since the original video game already looked absolutely stunning in its original release. However, if you are amongst the few that did not play The Last of Us Part II when it first came out, then playing this entry on your PlayStation 5 will be an unforgettable experience. In the end, the most remarkable asset of this remaster is found within the few novelties added to the overall content.- Areajugones

BlazBlue: Central Fiction Special Edition is a very complete fighting game with multiple single-player game modes and an elaborate combat system. This version does not have many new features but the portable mode is a big enough reason to recommend it. A great sample from the best of the fighting genre for your Nintendo Switch.- Areajugones
