It’s superhero heaven and a fine tribute to some of the most recognized characters from the DC Comics universe.

The AI puts up a decent fight in every mission.

It feels smashing to play it, but it’s almost even more fun to watch someone else play it.

The Bridge is brilliantly designed to test one's wits without frustrating him/her in the least bit.

We’re directing our biggest complaint to both Epic and People Can Fly for failing to achieve much on the single-player front. The atmosphere kind of lacks all that tension and excitement from previous games (think Gears of War 2).

Our main beef is that the developers have spent an excessive amount of time polishing and perfecting those cinematics and QTEs, instead of developing more engaging puzzles and even the occasional riddle wouldn’t have gone amiss.

Although you still get some satisfaction from features that you’ve seen before, ultimately we can’t underline anything memorable this time around, at least nothing that would compare to the quality of the previous two titles.

All the features, boss fights, stealth elements and VR missions just can’t compensate for the game’s relatively short story mode, as well as some nasty AI bugs and annoying camera issues.

Veteran FPS players won’t waste more than an hour on it. Everyone else should scream in contempt at the developers; rightfully so. Ideas such as the ‘Escape’ mode are cool, although whether you choose solo or multiplayer, be warned that the novelty soon wears off as Aliens Colonial Marines shows its true colors, unveiling an excruciatingly dull first-person shooter with all the entertainment value of tap-dancing hermit crab.

It’s clear that they’ve upped the ante when it comes to action and EA and Visceral are not shying away from this fact, often admitting openly that it was the right course for the series to take. This, however, doesn’t mean they made the right decision.

This is a rare gem among modern-day games. It proves that even the simplest concept can be pushed beyond the limits few people dare to explore. It’s a valiant experiment and one that has brought some truly satisfying results.

The Cave is a reasonably entertaining product, giving you a sufficient amount of content for its price tag. While all the adventure and platform elements were fused well together, you'll always somehow find yourself expecting more. It almost seems like the devs were playing it safe, never going that extra mile, never pushing the limit in any way.

The Walking Dead represents a jewel in the realm of episodic adventures. This game will shock you. It'll make you cry and curse. One of the most memorable gaming experience we've had in a long time. Don't miss out on it.

Just an extremely satisfying game, even with its occasional glitches. If you're into dynamic combat and constant chaotic over-the-top action, Dmc is the game to buy. It's a shame they didn't make the story longer, since it won't take an average gamer more than 6-7 hours to finish it on normal difficulty.

Another thing that impressed us was the relentless AI, which doesn't waver throughout each mission and in random spots on the map.

With all its fancy visuals and some properly directed cinematic moments, in addition to all the features packed into the solo mode and multiplayer mode, Hitman: Absolution can still get tedious.

Ultimately though, a large portion of the experience still feels like a classic Call of Duty titles. We can't complain about it much, because no matter how many times you've played a game like this, each time you can't help but just enjoy the thrill of the ride, the vibrant new and impressive set-pieces and the adrenaline-pumping action.

One of the most enjoyable platformers we've experienced in recent times. Mark of the Ninja is a really nice surprise and definitely one of the best indie games we've tried this year.

Even with its challenging gameplay, spectacular atmosphere, awesome moments in the narrative, great music and voiceovers, Halo 4 doesn't make that bold step everyone's been hoping for.

The only real problem (apart from the weak main character) in Assassin's Creed 3 is that there are so many things to do, but very few feel satisfying. There's a whole range of side-missions and challenges on offer, but at the end of the day completing them doesn't bring anything truly useful to the player.

After all that's said and done, Medal of Honor: Warfighter is nothing more than a broken action game that falls way behind other shooters.

Sure, online multiplayer matches can be great when played with friends, albeit nothing beats the feeling of slowly upgrading your XCOM HQ and starting to see the fruits of your hard work when your military leadership starts to match the might of the alien foes. So, again, it's more of a single-player treat and it's about time we had a game like that.

You could say that Dishonored has a sufficient amount of alternative paths and mission outcomes to warrant several playthroughs (again, something you won't find in many games today). The PC version was spared of a few graphical issues that appear to be plaguing the consoles editions, so I guess that's another good reason to go with this variant.

The franchise took a disastrous plummet into the world of broken, mediocre shooters, where it blatantly doesn't belong.

This is quite simply an action RPG that has everything for both fans and newcomers to the genre. Don't miss out on it.

The only downside here is that at some point the game may still feel like you're going through yet another generic loot fest, ultimately offering very little substance to those gamers who expect a richer story and a connection with the in-game characters.

Visually, it's a feast for your eyes. Gameplay wise, the skill-based action combat system keeps encounters exciting even when fighting creatures below your level. ArenaNet has gone to great lengths to provide a variety of ways for players to occupy themselves as they explore the game world, harvest resources, craft and so on.

Darksiders 2 gets a slightly lower score than the original, because it doesn't take much of an effort to surprise players. The gameplay mechanics are, in fact, all-too-familiar, while the narrative takes us on a relatively predictable path.

Yes, it's weird. It also may seem like a ridiculous waste time, but given the chance, it can also be ridiculously fun.

We miss games with more flare, better characterization, cool missions, an interesting story, interesting new worlds and so on. It takes a lot of creativity to come up with such qualities, especially in a video game. Still folks, it is possible.

It can be entertaining...The obvious downside is that despite the occasionally interesting puzzle-solving, you still waste too much time on numerous platform-related challenges.

Fundamentally, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is a shooter with relatively familiar action game with standard cover-based mechanics. This shouldn't discourage your from giving it a try, because unlike a majority of shooters today, Future Soldier makes you scratch your head a bit before sending the Ghost Team into action.

What we have here is a bold attempt from Capcom; an attempt to provide what's best in JRPGs and Western themed games. Sadly, too many things get in the way of entertainment. The story is confusing and offers little to explain the world you're adventuring in.

The writing isn't superb, but the visual style and the art direction are immaculate.

Whether you're dual-wielding axes and swords, rapid firing a mighty crossbow, fist-fighting, throwing a spear, casting a powerful spell or indeed summoning a monster of your very own, this game will make you feel like a true hero - one that is caught in the eternal and epic struggle between light and dark. Diablo 3 is a truly memorable experience and one of the best video games we've played in recent times.

Even with all its peculiarities, I have to be honest, I did have fun along the way. Plenty of fun. The quest structure is solid and rarely feels repetitive or bored.

Prototype 2 just doesn't do its best to pull you into the mind of Heller and why he's doing the things he's doing. Oh sure you eventually understand what motivates him, but that's not enough to make you like and truly appreciate the central character of the story.

It's funny, clever and totally lovable.

All that aside, Lone Survivor is solid. It delivers in all the areas a horror game should. You'll feel fear, loneliness, desperation and those of you who aren't familiar with the Silent Hill formula will also be intrigued by the narrative.

As long as you understand what you are signing up for, you should be fine. Just don't expect you are playing a less expensive version of Skyrim.

It's a shame 'I Am Alive' didn't end up being a triple-A game, because there are some pretty cool and unique concepts here that actually work and are quite entertaining. Granted, the controls may need some tweaking and the AI isn't as smart as it could've been.

The spirit of the series isn't there anymore. They've streamlined the gameplay to better suit mainstream tendencies. By doing so, they killed off the very spark that made this series stand out from heaps of generic action games. To sum up, Ninja Gaiden 3 sucks in so many ways, it's almost impossible to find any redeeming features.

The real trouble with Resident Evil: ORC is that the underdeveloped gameplay and technical issues keep getting in the way of multiplayer fun, which was the point of the game.

It's quite possible to enjoy the game's story, characters and eerie ambience. But just how long are you prepared to endure through an experience riddled with problems, from clumsy combat mechanics, serious freezing and screen tearing, as well as other glitches.

At least the first game involved a bit of exploration and side-missions and we rather miss those segments. Shame they decided to scrap what was, honestly, the only truly unique aspect of the gameplay.

My final score will be a compromise between what the game meant to me and what I believe it will mean to a hardcore puzzle gamer. If you feel like testing yourself, you'll enjoy Vessel. But if you're in the mood for adventure and relaxation, avoid it or you'll be disappointed.

Despite some of these glaring issues, Mass Effect 3 brings a decent and fitting closure to a long and involving sci-fi story about an epic intergalactic war.

Play this just for yourself and try to see where things might go from here. The possibilities are endless and almost completely unexplored.

The co-op is actually very fun and leaves more room for tactics and combat variation, unlike the single-player segment. This may be enough to warrant a purchase or a rent for gamers who appreciate that type of entertainment. Those seeking a deeper experience with a richer story and generally more content will be sorely disappointed.

If you're a fan of puzzle games, you can go and buy Q.U.B.E. now. If, on the other hand, Portal is the closest you ever came to the genre and if you can live without Portal's charm and are willing to take on a more challenging series of brain teasers, then, by all means, go for it.

You won't find any ingenious plot moments. On the other hand, the story itself is decent enough to keep you playing for some time.

To the Moon is a formulaic tale told in the wrong medium. It's far too uneven to be taken seriously by anyone who isn't enthusiastically ignoring its flaws. I'm sorry to say this was the most tedious time I ever had with a game.

The gameplay mechanics are there, but the essence and soul of a true RPG, is absent. The world is beautiful, but somehow feels like you've been there before.

While Minecraft may not be everybody's cup of tea, I doubt anyone can deny that it's an important step into new territory.

It's a highly polished, bug-free bundle of fun and at $15, it's a steal. Kudos to Supergiant Games.

The heavy emphasis on story-telling, coupled with the great voice acting, solid gameplay (outside of the space-based ship missions), good graphics and stellar sound track makes for an experience you have to try for yourself. If you are a Star Wars fan, an MMOG fan or a fan of past BioWare single-player RPGs, then you need to give this game a try.

A wonderful experience with solid platform style challenges and physics-based puzzles. Its simplicity, impressive artwork, gorgeous graphics and generally captivating atmosphere will keep you inside its mysterious world for ages.

What keeps this thing afloat is the story, the characters and the adaptation of Tolkien's compelling lore from his ever-popular fantasy tales.

This is definitely not the high point of the series. Someone may need to return to the old drawing board.

We've tried to have fun with this game and it ended up biting us in the ass... several times. Even with its truly gorgeous graphics and highly detailed tracks, in addition to a kick-ass soundtrack, the game won't keep you occupied for long. Moments of sheer entertainment are all-too-brief and are quickly overshadowed by frustration.

Our general feeling about Assassin's Creed: Revelations is a positive one, even though Ubisoft Montreal made more of an effort to extend the life of the franchise by polishing the multiplayer, rather than adding something new and exciting.

If you are a fan of the series, you will be happy with a relatively short, limited freedom of the (not quite) 'shooter on rails' story mode that plays like an interactive Hollywood blockbuster coupled with a strong online co-op and multiplayer experience with new features.

The defining element of Skyrim is the choices that are given to players in every conceivable way. Weapon upgrades, character development, storyline progress, solving quests, exploration, NPC interaction, are all impressively crafted elements that almost feel like separate games molded into one unforgettable adventure.

You don't have to be an avid racer to enjoy this one. Forza 4 is flexible in this matter, catering both to hardcore racers and those less experienced in racing games.

Finishing Batman: Arkham City was an immensely rewarding experience. It's a shame the main story didn't last a bit longer. However, we weren't bothered by this, because the game doesn't shy away from offering a ton of content even when you're done with your first playthrough.

It's insanely difficult, incredibly unfair and frustrating at times, but we still love it. It takes you on a journey of death, valor and persistence, but it rewards you handsomely in the process.

In order for a game to be considered something worth your time and money when you finish it, you should be left with either the desire to jump back in and have another go at it or fond memories of the experiences and challenges you played through. Rage falls short on both those points.

It gets very exciting at times and you can be sure that most enemies (be they large or small) offer a decent challenge even to hardcore FPS fans.

It feels fun for a while, but it never gets exciting or particularly rewarding.

This is undeniably a terrific and well-polished action game.

Dead Island's saving grace is its open-world approach, cool custom weapons and fun coop. Nonetheless, Techland created a perfect foundation for a cool, RPG-flavored survival horror game, but forgot to polish it, in addition to providing a dull narrative.

Overall, Dues Ex Human Revolution is a must-play, regardless of which system you choose (PC, duh). The variable difficulty settings will allow you to choose how badly you get kicked in the crotch on the missions. The story, characters, visuals, awesome voiceovers and perfectly suited and executed soundtrack make for a gaming experience that no one should miss. Kudos to Edios Montreal!

It immerses players almost effortlessly thanks to its sleek design and delightfully subtle lighting effects and creepy-looking shadows.

FEAR 3 has a tendency to become rather enjoyable with its tough enemies, well-thought-out levels and a gripping horror style atmosphere. The developers also used an all-too familiar Alma-flavored pattern to weave together a proper storyline.

You won't find any lasting qualities in Duke Nukem Forever and it doesn't have anything to compete against numerous modern games that have so much more to offer.

It isn't that Red Faction Armageddon isn't a fun game; it's just not a very deep or involved one.

Even with all its frustrations and flawed combat, Dungeon Siege 3 is a well-polished game and can be a good action RPG experience; that's assuming you get used to the gameplay mechanics. Somehow, it still feels satisfying.

One more malignant tumor in the blasé cancer eating the videogame industry. It's derivative from the start, and the game's concept is as poorly thought out as its execution.

A slightly better and more enjoyable experience than DiRT 2, which is more than enough to warrant a purchase.

We expected a deep RPG experience and The Witcher 2: Assassins of King doesn't quite deliver on that front as much as its predecessor. I think the alteration of the combat system receives most of the blame for that...In short, frequent hack'n'slash style action puts less emphasis on tactics, character development or anything else that constitutes a really good role-playing game.

L.A. Noire is still a video game at heart, and an excellent one at that, but it feels like it's more than that. It has almost reinvented a few genres while at the same time providing something entirely new and different.

If you enjoy team based shooters you need to go buy this game now.

If you like Enemy Territory enough that you're willing to play another somewhat flawed version of it, you may enjoy Brink.

The game is a slap in the face, to people who like video games, to people who like comic books, to people who like Germanic paganism.

Portal 2 is, in short, a terrific game, throwing you headfirst into a realm of intense and brain-teasing puzzles and great humor. The story is richer story this time around too.

Mind you, with these commendable adjustments to the previous game, Slightly Mad Studios still didn't quite push this one into the big league category where we find racers as Forza Motorsport 3.

A technically solid and entertaining MMO that offers some interesting new features while emulating a number of the mechanics millions of players are familiar with and enjoy. I am cautiously optimistic for the future of Rift.

This isn't necessarily a downright disaster of a game, but you sure as hell have played it before.

Crysis 2 seems different from other shooters on the market thanks to its unique atmosphere, the impressively directed action scenes, the freedom to tackle each combat situation in a unique way and, of course, the Nanosuit.

The overall narrative may not be as deep and epic as in the first game, but it still offers some unexpected and pleasant variables, which, as we all know, is BioWare's forte exhibited in games like the Mass Effect trilogy.

Lastly Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 is a good game to play when you're super drunk and you need to go to sleep, but you cannot lie down because you will get the spins.

If the incessant swearing gets on your nerves, don't quit the game, just block your ears or turn the dialogue volume off, because this is a pretty solid game.

It looks better than the original, it plays better than the original, it has a lengthy single-player campaign, a lot of scary moments, non-stop action and, on top of that, an engaging brand new multiplayer mode. So, what more do you want?

There's nothing distinctive about the world we're allowed to explore.

C'mon guys, you are the reason we have excellent games such as Monkey Island, Knights of the Old Republic, Sam & Max, Indiana Jones, the Jedi Knight series and so on. Surely, you can do better than produce a half-baked franchise-milking action adventure.

Still, I guess hardcore RPG players, those who are after a huge world with plenty of interesting side-quests, will surely find a home here.

What's more, Fable 3 is definitely a beautiful-looking game, with incredibly imaginative and well-designed locations where players may lose themselves in.

The arcade version/part of the game offers more cars than I've ever seen in an arcade racing game ever, although you probably won't giggle like you did when you crashed while playing Burnout.
