In a nutshell, when its 'gears' are clicking, Brothers in Arms manages to deepen the shooter genre with the addition of some great tactical gameplay and relatively realistic depiction of infantry warfare... [but] sadly lacked somewhat in the execution department, making it not as good as the reigning king of the genre.- ActionTrip

The Battle for Middle-Earth is not a story-driven game. It is simply a collection of different chapters in the history of Middle-Earth that you'll have to finish to defeat the other side. The biggest gripe anyone can have with an expansion pack is that it doesn't have enough content to justify the purchase. While a very hilarious game, is not much of a successor to the LSL crown. The original LSL games were true, unabashed adventure games that required intelligence, wit and time to work through. This zany, uncensored version of "The Sims." Relatively sluggish performance and lack of more replay value indicated by the deficiency of online play or more creative off-line sex options are its crucial drawbacks. This game is good but not great. Even though Catwoman offers a feisty and stylish superheroine, some neatly designed platform puzzles, coupled with fluid animation and fighting action, the game ultimately takes a nosedive by making the very thing it focuses on the most frustrating to the point of wanting to strangle small kittens.
