A convincing motocross experience and improved visuals meet a dreary campaign and innovations not thought through – in the end it is a decent (yet typical) Milestone update.

C’mon Sony, you could do better. This is a far cry from games like Buzz or You Don’t Know Jack. This is a rather lame quiz with an unnecessary focus on drawing. It shows though, that the mobile phone is a decent controller replacement.

The exotic atmosphere makes this a very special action adventure that suffers from technical and mechanical faults.

Interesting turn based tactics in a creative steampunk world that marks a successful premiere for a new franchise. Nonetheless Intelligent Systems is far away from the quality of Advance Wars.

The turn based movement is flanked by a trading card element, which makes the hunt for new cards quite motivating. But be aware that the campaign is rather short and the multiplayer mode restricted.

Solid turn based tactical ops with well-executed pixel visuals.

Quite some un-intense idling, frustrating script bugs and some plainly disruptive elements will leave you disillusioned and horrified for all the wrong reasons.

While the true fans can’t wait for the recently announced Pokemon Sun and Moon , Nintendo tries to get the most out of the 20th anniversary of Pikachu & Co as possible. But in this case this is not for the better. While the idea is as good as it always was, the random element brings a lot of redundance, while the story is targeted at a very young audience.

Ambitious and in coop quite tense thriller with technical faults as well as AI problems.

Is it a shame to get “inspired” by Capcom’s Monster Hunter? No. It is even more accessible than its inspiration. But it also lacks the depth.

This is a good looking but foul compromise. It replicates the atmosphere of Human Revolution but in terms of gameplay this is just second class.

For the start of this anthology Supermassive Games serves up a short, but intense horror-trip that will draw some comparisons to Until Dawn, but show offs interesting multiplayer options.

Like Mortal Blitz this rail-shooter is a modern take on arcade shooters like Time Crisis. Piloting a mech that could play a starring role in Pacific Rim you’ll enjoy the tight controls, the challenging encounters and the better-than-expected story.

Samurai adventure presented on film with a lot of Japanese flair and authentic voice output - unfortunately monotonously structured and playfully banal.

As a spin-off this is a neat experience. I liked Michonne on the tv show already and Telltale gives me an opportunity to show me her psyche and motives.

Up to now no other games manages to capture the illusion of actually sitting in a speedy spaceship like CCPs space action developed exclusively for VR. It might not be completed yet, but it shows off what VR can do to gaming. [Tested with Oculus Rift]

This could have been one of the truly great RTS games. The sheer dimension of the mass battles is impressive. And while pathfinding and AI deliver, the game design, campaign and diversity of the two fractions disappoint. It’s a shame.

This is an entertaining but very superficial outing on the centre court. Camelot is far away from what made their GameCube tennis an instant classic.

Song of the Deep is as beautiful as it is challenging, as picturesque as it is magical. This labyrinth exploration gets better with every hour.

The nostalgic flair from back in the early strategy days is still there. But sind RTS came such a long way and has improved even with its successor (in 1999) tremendously, the gameplay deficits are also more evident.

Yes, the visuals are far from perfect, the multiplayer is scraggy while the character editor is superficial, but on the other hand the MMO atmosphere is convincing and the scenario is interesting.

The mysterious atmosphere as well as the multi-faceted fight system show a lot potential. But Absolver seriously lacks content, while technical flaws and shortcomings definitely need to be addressed soon.

It gives you everything you need to feel like a Monster Hunter if you don’t own a Nintendo System. Unfortunately the mobile origins of the series shine through at all ends, while I have to think long and hard to remember a game that would have benefited from a better tutorial more so than Rage Burst.

If you are a fan of motorbikes and want to experience the speed and rush from two-wheel-motorsport you have to be aware of two things. 1) You won’t be able to get by Milestone, who basically has an iron grip on the genre. 2) You get plenty of content and outdated visuals.

This enhanced and in terms of story completed re-release of the 2014 action RPG Shadows: Heretic Kingdoms still has some interesting ideas, but also still doesn’t manage to give Diablo 3 or Victor Vran a run for their money.

Atmospheric killer hotel with likeable characters and sensible innovations. It is a pity that the introduction and conclusion were artificially lengthened.
