The camera is finicky, loading times are long, visuals are scraggy. But underneath all that is a decent game that grows on you once you start to level up your character.

On one hand I welcome Tecmos decision to premiere this beat em up franchise on PC. But on the other this is just half-hearted so I wonder if they just want to cash in before Mortal Kombat X arrives.

Even though the sisters show some technical shortcomings compared to the PC counterpart, this still is a charming jump & run.

Especially when it comes to combat it is evident, that Spidey tried to copy a page out of Batman's Arkham travel guides – and failed. It is fun to swing thru the beautifully designed Manhattan though.

Trailblazers shows not only a lot of potential, but also its share of unnerving flaws. While this could have been the ‘Splatoon of fun racers’ in the end you’ll remember it mostly for technical shortcomings, harsh AI and bugs.

Sea of Solitude is an atmospheric fairy tale, that handles topics like phobias, conflict and depression in a thoroughly competent way.

How does it feel to be a badger facing the daily challenge of protecting and raising your offspring? While this sounds interesting as a concept the execution lacks immersion and depth.

In theory Erica shows off a very interesting plot. The picturization, though, is unemotional and rigid.

Vader Immortal gives you a beautiful glimpse into the magic and force that VR can offer. Gameplay depth and lack of content are a problem, though.

The mechbuilding is kinda cool, and so ist controlling these metal monsters. Unfortunately the action is rather mundane and set in pathetic areas.

Do you feel like a helping of Edgar Allan Poe? Do you feel like experiencing a quiet, but complex storytelling? A creative developer demonstrates how much atmospheric force can be put into one pixel.

Petroplyph captures the spirit of Command & Conquer almost perfectly. Nonetheless it feels unfinished: 8-Bit-Armies offers only one faction, not a lot of troop types and generally not enough content.

It can’t step out of the shadow of the classic original. The problem is not the complexity, though, but rather the micro management chaos as well as the terrible station AI.

Solid and beginner-friendly survival-action with a decent crafting system and a big, yet diverse world as a playground. But be prepared for plenty of grind.

Maybe it is time for Yuke’s to give the pro-wrestlers a break, take a good look at their game, question everything and leave no stone unturned. While the fight mechanics reflect the tension and pace of the “real” battles of the WWE superstars and the roster is more stacked than ever, there is nothing surprising in this year's grappling attack on your wallet.

The ever-changing mechanics lead to interesting puzzle elements, but the fun hits the brakes when you are faced with an annoying motion control.

This is pure turn-based mediocrity. It is conservative in every aspect and takes no risks whatsoever. On the other hand, it doesn’t do anything particularly bad.

Respectable free-to-play online brawler aiming for a younger audience – unfortunately the story mode is a costly premium commodity, while the basic map content is shallow.

A short but sweet day trip to a playground dedicated to beloved Pixar franchises that basically caters to younger players. Since its original release in 2012 they could have added more movie themes than just Finding Dory.

It is good to see that it is not only Harmonix trying to push boundaries with rhythm games. The concept is simple yet genius. The execution takes a little time to get used to and then it is over all too soon. But it is great fun while it lasts.
