Even though the addition of futuristic weapons and new movement options could mark a paradigm shift, the campaign is as always: explosive and well-paced but in the end meaningless and bar any surprises. The multiplayer on the other hand is exciting and fresh and will keep you glued to the screen for a long time.

With the sarcastic narrator and the test chambers it tries to emulate Portal a tad too much, but in the end there are enough original ideas to make this an interesting puzzler.

It is a pity that you cannot fight together with others players against the zombie hordes. Because behind the sometimes ugly façade hides an interesting living (or dead) world in which you truly have to fight to survive.

The conversion for the PlayStation 4 is not perfect, but slight technical issues (e.g. framerate) hardly take anything away from this short, but entertaining arcade snack.

The good impressions from the beta prove true: World of Warplanes celebrates arcade dogfights full of intensive arcade action. With a little more depth and a more detailed damage system this could be a sure hit.

If you enjoyed traveling around the universe with the Unreliable and its crew, you will find decent, yet short-lived additional entertainment with this detective story.

Good-Feel managed the almost impossible: To make Nintendos dino mascot even cuter than ever before. A charming design and interesting yarn puzzles make this conservative platformer a fluffy experience.

Painful situations and loads of little decisions: The script manages to weave the tragic family story into the political scene of the Seven Kingdoms.

The more characters you know or recognize the more fun you will have with this tremendous roster of animanga star power. But fortunately J-Stars has more to offer, e.g. a solid fighting system and astonishingly diverse characters. The arenas and campaign mode lack variety, though.

You won’t encounter any creative outbursts, but it delivers solid and entertaining old-school platform action.

Without the need for a portal this is a decent mobile version of the best Skylanders to date. Unfortunately there are certain import restrictions that devalue your collection.

Even though the sisters show some technical shortcomings compared to the PC counterpart, this still is a charming jump & run.

This is a thoroughly entertaining dynamic and enormously complex politics simulation on an interplanetary level. Unfortunately the turn based battles feel tacked on and war eventually is too powerful.

Decent retro beat-em-up with an interesting battle system. But you’ll have to invest some time to understand and use all the subtleties it has to offer.

Without a doubt this is the most complete Formula One package from Codemasters yet. But nonetheless it feels like the team in Birmingham doesn’t do anything more than what is absolutely necessary to justify a new game.

If you hated its predecessor you will surely not warm up to this sequel. On the other hand Serah and Noel do a lot better than Lightning and her friends in Final Fantasy XIII. Here's more to do, more to discover, more roleplaying.

While the staging and the characterization of the fractions still is sub-par, this is better than Ashes of the Singularity in every aspect, especially in terms of the large scale skirmishes that give you an optimal strategic viewpoint.

With its Souls-lite fighting system and the beautiful art design that successfully manages to use VR within a “classic” gameplay mechanic you Chronos pulls you into a magical world. Nonetheless it is rather just a first step, while it leaves a lot of potential untapped. [Tested with Oculus Rift]

Precipe of Darkness 3 is not only a brilliant Final Fantasy spoof, but an astonishingly well working 16Bit-RPG. The combat system with its wicked classes is well-though-out. Unfortunately the game is rather short.

A great re-imagination of the toys-to-life concept with great ideas, a solid line of toys and great visuals. Unfortunately it seems that together with the rather mediocre story in the last third Ubisoft Toronto ran out of inspiration when it comes to mission design.
