I didn’t expect much. So maybe that is why I was taken by surprise with the challenging battles. Your freedom is limited, but within its borders these potatoes embark on an interesting space adventure.

With its newest version Everybody’s Golf neither excels nor does it achieve anything groundbreaking on the greens. But the mechanics are spot on and make this a more than solid pick-up&play golf.

If you like games like Limbo or Inside, chances are, you will love Little Nightmares. And even though overall it doesn’t have the emotional impact of the aforementioned (since too many questions are left unanswered), the Tim-Burtonesque art design is beautiful.

A little harmless platform fun - with a charming retro look and fine controls.

Strangers Wrath still is a crazy-good action-adventure with a quirky main character. Some details like the odd controls didn’t age that well, though.

The visual style is very unique and captivating, the quiet storytelling with the focus on experiencing the world based on perception and expectation is a breath of fresh air. But it all feels very safe. In the end you are not Rae’s guardian or protector but rather a companion on her travels.

Despite all the visual enhancements you can still see that the original is five years old. With that in mind, this is still a good and at times positively rough action role-playing game that is worth exploring.

In the beginning State of Decay is a remarkably ugly and trashy zombie bashing. But the more you dive into the fight for survival with its base and resource management, the open dynamic world gets more and more attractive – despite the AI problems.

Moss is an enchanting little puzzle game with a cute design and creative puzzles. Fight mechanics and areas of the motion controls could use some improvement, though.

If you played it already on a older system, the playthrough video with the director’s commentary is the only thing new to you. But it is worth the full admission price tag? Not really. If you missed out on the thoughtfully crafted adventures of the siblings, this is the version to get, though.

The positive trend continues. I am especially happy about the environment puzzles, the boss fights as well as the quiet moments where fear and terror set in. With every episode it looks more like a real Resident Evil.

Visually impressive basketball sim that is simply breathtaking on the court. In terms of game moeds you feel the old gen remains – as you do in the still annoying micro transactions.

In its best moments The Long Dark makes you think of the tragic moments of lonesome wanderers best described by Jack London’s Stories of the North. But in its worst you curse at the incoherent direction. In free or challenge modes though, you’ll find a decent survival adventure.
