The Suicide of Rachel Foster has all the ingredients to create a good mystery story: a mountain hotel, a family tragedy, death and a past to uncover. And yet, we arrive at the end somewhat disappointed, thinking that many of the answers are somewhat capricious and unconnected with the information the player handles.

Greedfall: The Dying World is one of those games that demands patience and a lot of willpower on your part. Spiders has tried to bite off more than they could chew, creating a title with an incredibly slow start and tactical combat that never quite clicked with me. I miss the 'immersive sim' identity of the first game; here, they’ve opted for something more conventional, coupled with optimization issues and bugs that can really break the immersion. Yet, despite all that, I can't deny that the world is well-built. It has that classic RPG charm, reminiscent of Dragon Age: Origins, where you can get lost in its cities, talk to your companions, and soak in its political nuances.

Empire of Sin is a practically unique title in the current video game scene. The combination of role-playing mechanics with turn-based combat, together with the empire management system and diplomacy, makes this a very particular game. It has really been a fun experience, it is a pleasure to role-play a mafia boss who is gaining notorious points as his dominance over the city and the other gangs grows. However, I have the feeling that many of its mechanics are not exploited in the most appropriate way, as the whole of its proposal has not been able to coalesce as would have been desirable. However, it is a title to take into account of which I would like to see a continuation that knows how to take everything it proposes one step further since, on the table, it has enough ingredients to be more than just a good game.

Just as it has been over the last few years Madden NFL 21 represents an incremental improvement whose only real contribution to the formula is the arcadish mode The Yard. Having said that, the package could be genuinely appealing for someone who hasn’t touched a football game in ages, if it wasn’t for many design elements that appear neglected and turn the game into an experience with an outdated feel to it. Daymare 1998 successfully emulates everything the Resident Evil formula does. In fact, playing it right after Resident Evil 3 Remake I have had a very similar sensation in the playable. If you are a genre lover it is a required title, a Resident Evil can call it. Daymare 1998 is worth playing for its history, its puzzles, and the design of its levels. However, despite trying, we did not manage to bring anything new to the genre and we faced economic limitations in its development. It would be desirable to see a sequel with a bigger budget that allows the people of Invader Studio to unleash their talent.

Destruction AllStars is a fun title that bets on chaos and destruction in a casual fast-paced bet. Its use of the DualSense gives a good clue of what is to come in the future on the platform and has a good grid in which to lose yourself trying possibilities and finding the heroes with whom you feel more comfortable. However, their proposal is limited and it may be that after a while there will not be too many incentives to stay in the game. I would have liked to see more synergies between the skills of drivers and cars, I think the team component loses a bit of meaning within the framework of a game like this. As a final consideration we must bear in mind that, due to its characteristics, it is a game that can be expanded and improved in the future, so we must be attentive to its progression and acceptance within the player community.
