    I loved my time with Rusty in A Knight’s Quest. While it clearly doesn’t have the extreme level of polish of a Zelda title, it manages to capture the sense of exploration and progression of Link’s earlier adventures and mix it up with a real sense of its own identity. The added emphasis on platforming creates an interesting fusion of genres but isn’t without a few technical issues. That said, fans of classic 3D adventure games would do well to check it out.

    Aside from some minor visual glitches and pop-in and some finnicky platforming, A Knight’s Quest is not at a bad time but it’s not an experience that will stick with you, either. Its focus on humor instead of drama or pathos will be a selling point for players weary of self-important heroes and dark themes but on the flip side, humor is very subjective. From its title to its overall mechanics, A Knight’s Tale seems like a safely familiar variation on a popular but over-played theme, appealing for its recognizable form but less satisfying for its lack of creative ambition.

    A Knights Quest is not a bad game, I just find it hard to recommend it in an overcrowded genre of adventure RPG's. Its quests are bland, its animation and graphics are sometimes off and its gameplay a bit fragmented and sometimes repetitive. Overall though it is fun and if you really want to play an RPG of this type then this game can be fun and rewarding, it's just hampered by its lack of uniqueness and anything to really make it stand out from other games of this type. It has a few small issues but these can hopefully be ironed out in the future.

    A Knight's Quest is a game enjoyed by casual players who are only looking for a simple distraction. It is also a good proposal to provide children with an adventure video game with a healthy, simple and entertaining plot for their age.

    An interesting homage to the 3D classic adventures, developed with low resources in an indie manner. Not bad at all, but the world design is chaotic and the gameplay mechanics are frustrating.

There is a map, but it's not very helpful for navigation and the compass isn't very well explained or utilized besides pointing you in the direction of the main objective. Inventory system is a disaster. You have very limited slots and you are picking up items constantly. It makes no sense to have limited inventory slots for a game like this. Also, there are a bunch of collectibles with zero use after around 4 hours of gameplay. Just not enough incentive for me to keep going, but clearly a lot of care was put into the development. I'd like to see this development team try again down the line.… Expand
