Saint' s Row 2 is ridiculous in the best sense of the word. It´s funny and wild, and its sense of humor and scope makes it too far from GTA IV, wich is more solemn and occasionally even sentimental. This is a title that could have been unforgettable if it would have achieved a more solid sense in its irregular sections, despite of that is still very recommendable for the fans of the Sand-Box genre.

I can't help but feel that the name “Black” is too big for it. Where the first Black was a bold refinement, this one feels like a timid step, with the same less overwhelming enemies on a difficulty tamed so as not to scare off new players and without that suffocating pressure that made the original NG2 such a unique experience.

Unruly Heroes closely follows the trail left by the latest Rayman, creating a very original action platformer, which is characterized above all by keeping its mechanics fresh along all levels, with a very eye-catching visual design and care. Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection is an excellent game overall. Its slightly more mature approach to storytelling is a good fit for a shonen-esque product, but its most brilliant feats belong in the gameplay side. Borderlands 4 delivers, which is no small feat considering the astronomical bar BL2 left behind over a decade ago. Gearbox is well aware of their own successes and wrongdoings and aims for something traditional, yet modernized —a goal that translates into a solid main campaign and several small-scale adjustments and QoL changes that brings the whole thing up a notch. Gorgeous vistas, great campaign, much better controls. Performance sucks big time, though. [Recommended]
