Dynasty Warriors Origins is a step in the right direction to modernise the franchise. Jusant is one of the best video game experiences of the year. Maybe its message doesn't get through to you, maybe the climbing doesn't call to you, or maybe the lowpoly art style doesn't appeal to you directly... But it is undeniable that Don't Nod gives us a jewel of just a few hours of duration that deserves all the recognition we can give it. Its demo already pointed out ways, but the final game is as well rounded as the most optimistic of us assumed. [Recommended]

Control is Remedy's most daring work. A courageous level design that encourages exploration and limits visual guides is mixed with fierce combat. In the second half, this combate can be somewhat monotonous and repetitive. Its story is neither the best nor is it told in the best way. Persona 5 Strikers takes the turn-based combat out of the equation while retaining most of the other JRPG aspects of the previous game, and adding a real-time battle system more akin to an Action-RPG than most Omega Force titles. It looks like Persona 5, and more importantly, it feels like Persona 5. Blasphemous 2 isn't interested in experimenting. It wants to do one thing, which is metroidvania action, and does it very well. While staying true to the formula, it does however take some room for innovative design within its own limits: worlds that guide the player without taking the fun out of exploring, a variety of pacing and as well as several RPG elements adding some little depth and customization to combat.
