The only frustration I have with Castle Man HD is my inability to complete more rounds and rack up further points with ease.

Simply put, Alto’s Odyssey is the best runner on the App Store. That’s not to say it’s good for a runner, mind you, it’s an amazing game by any metric. It’s got a ton of variety, it’s beautiful, and it’s satisfying, whether you’re playing it for two minutes or two hours.

Even with this rather large laundry list (I don't have enough space to list them all) of bite-sized problems, I'd still recommend Terra Noctis wholeheartedly to anyone who loved to jump on things. It's beautiful to look at and listen to, but it's also just plain fun to play.

Even with the difficulty Rise of the Blobs is still plenty of fun. So much so that losing typically ends up being just another excuse to play again. Or maybe get Mal a new hat.

Dungeons of Dreadrock's is a completely unexpected surprise. When you start playing it, it looks and feels like it is just one of 1,000 other fantasy-themed puzzle games you've seen before, but it is so much more than that. Its world feels alive and its action feels so dynamic just by nature of the puzzle logic and design it puts forth. It is a commendable achievement that is worth celebrating. You owe it to yourself to give Dungeons of Dreadrock a try.

If Found... is one of those games that you really have to experience for yourself. Although your interactions with it aren't particularly complicated, there's a power in the simple act of swiping that makes every moment feel significant. Make sure you find time to play If Found... This game is special.

Tap Tap Revenge Tour isn't new, but it's smart, gorgeous, and satisfying as a free game, while being enough fun to warrant spending some real money for favorite tracks. Grab it and start shredding.

As one might have expected, Rockstar has gone out of their way to deliver the pristine Grand Theft Auto: Vice City experience on iOS. Not only has the classic aged immensely well, but it still manages to deliver a quality of play that is unmatched a decade later. $4.99 seems like a penance to pay to get a portable hit of open-world perfection. The short of it is that Spaceteam is an absolutely stupid amount of absolutely stupid fun for any small group of iOS users. Whether they idolize Gene Roddenberry or love satirizing Captain Kirk.

If frantic two finger tapping with RPG elements and nuclear bombs sounds good to you (sounds great to me!), Neo Defender 2 really is a must buy.

A gem of an iOS game. It's got all the pick-up-and-play trappings and super-addictiveness that a successful App Store release needs, wrapped in an incredibly tight package and sold for what I'd consider way too small a price. This is a must-own, people. Seriously.

Everybody can enjoy it, while strategy fans can still get their fix.

Don't let the gorgeously stunning art style fool you either, because it actually manages to play EVEN BETTER than it looks.

Dark Echo is one of the creepiest and most creative horror games on the App Store.

This hacker-themed game has less to do with actual hacking than it does delivering smart, highly addictive, and competitive strategy/puzzle action.

What really matters is the core gameplay, which is something that Punch Hero has nailed. I may never be able to dress my boxer in a robot costume, but I can still have plenty of fun without it.

Once players are comfortable with the mechanics, Inertia: Escape Velocity becomes an absolute joy.

As a Zelda fan myself; it was hard to go through Sacred Odyssey at times knowing that if Zelda were on the iPhone it would be a richer experience. I don't want to take too much away from Gameloft, as they did a fine job, but Sacred Odyssey doesn't do enough to make me not long for some kind of Apple/Nintendo partnership.

An exciting and addictive bike game. Clever gameplay, fluid graphics and challenging levels make Bike Baron an instant classic.

Sin or Win takes a few minutes to warm up to, but it's entirely worth a download. Toxic Blob takes one of the most attractive features of Pocket God, and builds a full game out of it, one that will leave gamers desperately clawing at the screen in an attempt to save these unbelievably dumb cavemen.

Speed Forge Extreme is an action packed space-themed racer which both looks and feels the part. In my experience I really felt like I was playing a WipEout spin-off (in a good way), plus the game's accelerometer controls are the smoothest I've seen on any App Store title to date.

From the adorable and comical graphics to the addicting and simple game play, Worm vs Birds is a physics puzzler that I highly recommend for everyone ranging from casual gamers and puzzle fanatics to children and families. At the risk of sounding cheesy, it's just a lot of fun to play.
