The puzzles are entertaining enough, but there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to how the difficulty varies from puzzle to puzzle. The difficulty will often fluctuate wildly from one puzzle to the next.

There's very little wrong with Blockolicious. Despite a wealth of similar titles, the game is bright and cheerful and, more importantly, entertaining.

I really wanted to like Chicken Rain, there is some potential fun game play with this app. However, with the constant interruption the fun was washed away.

That's the problem with Deep War. Once one level has been completed, there's no real evolution. There are no boss fights or real change in the direction of the gameplay, meaning it's not the most thrilling of games.

Though Kiwi Dash is an altogether solid endless runner, it also manages to be the most frustrating game in the world.

While Iron Wars may not necessarily bring anything new to the table, it is certainly an amusing jaunt back into the world of iOS shooters.

The Manhattan Project offers a great Euro-style gameplay experience, but it is totally unwelcoming to new players.

Go To Bed: Survive The Night looks and sounds great, but it's actually quite basic in its execution.

The strength of these overly hard obstacles wouldn't be as much of a problem if it wasn't so hard to control the spaceman. It's simply too easy for a spaceman to roll to either side of the player's finger when they're being pushed. Once they roll away, a hole or fan inevitably ends the level.

Kavinsky doesn't quite work as a fully formed game, but it's a vaguely interesting mix of beat em up and driving action.

The frustration factor of Gear Jack took this from being a solid auto-running platformer into another game on the scrap heap for me. This is the kind of game that despairs me: it's a title with such promise, but it gets chucked away by its frustrating level design. It's a shame.

On many fronts Law & Order: Legacies is an outstanding re-creation of the crime procedural in interactive form. However, lackluster voice acting and minimal variety in game mechanics prevent this from being something that will appeal beyond the franchise's fan base.

1-800 SUPER should have probably avoided being a Reigns-like. This short narrative adventure doesn't need additional hooks or systems to make it compelling, it just needs more story to tell. Hopefully Pangolin Park is able to take a second crack at this fantastic idea, or perhaps the game will inspire someone else to do it justice.

Somewhat vague in explaining itself, Outlaw-TriPeaks lacks that "one more go" factor that befits the Solitaire genre.

Angry Birds Blast is a totally decent matching puzzle game that unfortunately gets more and more frustrating the further you get into it. Though the base game has some strong concepts that reward strategy, there's a grind to the game that will likely turn you off unless you're a dedicated matching game player.

It's unfortunate then that Fish Runner doesn't quite gel as well as other endless runners. Its high difficulty level thanks to the plethora of obstacles and sluggishness of Spiky makes it tricky to unlock new abilities any time soon making for an off-putting experience. With a tweak to this learning curve, things could have been a little more tempting.

Carrot Watch might have been a great introduction to Tower Defense games for kids, with its simple one touch controls and cutesy graphics. Instead, it feels like a game that demonstrates how not to do things.

Simply put, Ninja Box is rough around the edges. If one were to strip away the stylistic art design, what would remain is essentially "hide and go seek," where the player simultaneously engages in exercises of trial and error. Let's just say that it might be best if this assassin remained locked in the dojo.
