It isn't cool, doesn't possess even a touch of originality, and doesn't tie into the movie very well at all. I just don't understand, the TRON brand is way too cool for this game. I'd be so much happier with a remake of the original Midway TRON game.

When Sluggo clicks it feels every bit as potentially time-sapping as Snake, such is the strength of the idea behind it. It's a shame, then, that the execution isn't quite up to the same standard.

This game may be a AAA title for the gaming giant, but it is 13 years old, putting it somewhere in the hinterlands between classic and dated.

It sounds good on paper, but this mishmash of popular soccer games fails to hit the spot thanks to some very aggressive freemium components.

I understand the desire to make games that try to emulate console-style gameplay on iOS, but they usually wind up falling flat because they're not particularly a good fit for the platform. It's just that M.U.S.E. feels flat even for iOS, like if there's a really good game here, it's still ways off from being fully realized. There are other, better, 3rd party shooters to check out before this one.

In short bursts Urban Crime can be enjoyable. However, the problems raised throughout this review means that any fun had is often negated before too long.

Look, Speed Blazers is far from the worst thing out there, but unfortunately it's just not very fun, moment-to-moment.

This mini version of DayZ is a little too small and rough to feel satisfying.

It's not particularly classy, nor are the numerous spelling and grammar mistakes in the alerts. It's disappointing, frankly. There's a neat idea in Toy Factory and a game can that work, but unless players are prepared to spend money that's as far as it goes.

Straight-forward and pretty uninspired, Sugar Rush is a Match Three blitz game we've all seen before.

Into the Dead 2 isn't a particularly innovative runner, but it looks and feels good, at least up to a point. The free-to-play systems in the game eventually force you to engage with parts of it that feel like they're only there to make you spend currency you either earned or bought. It's at this point that Into the Dead 2 changes from a decently mindless runner into an insidious one.

Overall this game is very frustrating and many challenges don't make much sense.

With some more polish, NinRobo could've been a pleasant little action diversion. As it is now though, its poor visuals, often clumsy controls, and misuse of the freemium model drag down the experience considerably.

This free-to-play rpg looks a lot like Heroes of Might and Magic, but it's poor interface and layering of mechanics makes it feel unnecessarily messy.

If it weren't for the ever-present lag, the simple "puzzles" required to create new worlds might even be mildly entertaining, at least for younger kids. Unfortunately, constant crashes are simply unacceptable.

Neither the graphics, gameplay or overall design of this game allows it to compete in the App Store at this price, and even for free it would be disappointing.

MazzyBoyHD has so much potential to become a great game, but it needs some work to get there. Players looking for a game to kill some time and those who are big fans of labyrinth style games may want to give this one a try. It's definitely not a game that I can recommend to everyone, but it's worth giving it a shot since this iPad game costs less than one dollar.

Square Enix, with their occasionally lazy Final Fantasy rehashes and overpriced App Store ports, doesn't necessarily have the cleanest track record. Still, as one of the originators of the legacy of RPGs Wizardlings seeks to be a part of, they should know better. Wizardlings may be free but the time it wastes is not.

Play the originals instead of the versions of these games in Arcade Essentials. Many of them are available on iOS in either their original forms, or in superior independently-made facsimiles. This collection is a neat idea, but these games need to be more than just simple clones to be interesting.

In the state Brogguts is currently in, I believe it's worth from free to $0.99. When the control issues are fixed and possibly multiplayer added, it will be worth its $2.99 price tag or even more.

It's tough to recommend Match Day Collection to anyone other than nostalgia addicts. Even fans of the originals will feel saddened at how time has ravaged the series. It's to be expected but the steady release of Spectrum games to iOS have demonstrated how some classics such as Head Over Heels have lasted. This just isn't the case with Match Day Collection.
