It's not even like Pilot Brothers is a particularly long game, weighing in at a couple of hours, but such repetition grates quickly. Such problems leave Pilot Brothers feeling like a relic of the obtuse 1990s adventure genre, something that no one really wants to go back to.=

Crucially, though, Little Amazon's main offense is that it just isn't interesting enough. It's the perfect definition of average and nothing more. Something that really doesn't cut it any more in the Endless Runner genre, even for free.

Commiting the mortal sin of charging for the base game and then containing loads of premium content is one thing, but not even being a unique or entertaining experience is a whole other problem.

The nicest thing I can say about Dr. Who: The Mazes of Time is that it's a game; beyond that I have no more kind words.

My issue with Cabbage Defense is that it's just so forgettable.

Fragger 2 is reminiscent of older physics puzzlers, but that isn't necessarily a good thing.

This motorcycle-based platformer tries to give players a good sense of challenge, but mostly ends up feeling unfair.

Fraud Tycoon is a half-baked, messy, promotional tie-in that does their sponsor no favors whatsoever.

Slow developing and potentially very expensive, Modern War lacks sufficient original features to really hook players in.

An interesting setting for a racing game with a solid track collection that is unfortunately weighed down by poor execution on the part of physics and vehicular control.

If Galaxy of Pen and Paper were simply a sci-fi reskin of Knight of Pen and Paper, it would be a fine–although underwhelming–game. As is stands now though, almost everything Galaxy of Pen and Paper does to differentiate itself seems to either make it perform worse or find some other way to be frustrating. Simply put, if you're looking for a sci-fi RPG to enjoy, look elsewhere. This is not the game you're looking for.

Aces of the Luftwaffe is a game hardcore players will like strictly for its three boss battles, especially the final one. It is, however, hard to recommend this title until it receives more content, because easily flying through 9 missions to just play three difficult boss battles isn’t enough. It’s not a bad purchase for $.99 cents, but don’t buy in to purchasing medals when it only takes a few replays to earn them.

Propel Man is the start of a potentially good game, but currently it's repetitive and lacks variety. If the developers added additional game play elements and more items to buy in the in-game store, it could make the game much more fun.

Mech Conquest's approach to intergalactic warfare will see many sci-fi fans go weak at the knees. It's just a shame the use of completely automated battles may put a dampener on the action.

Radiation City is a conceptual step in the right direction as a follow up to Radiation Island, but it fails to reach its potential on almost every level. A survival game based more on looting and exploration is a great idea, but only if the looting and exploring feel good. Unfortunately for Radiation City though, wandering around the streets of Pripyat mostly feels repetitive, random, and overly clunky.

Flame Versus Blaze may seem pretty slick on the surface, but it's got a whole mess of problems. It feels very pay-to-win and its action is hard to follow and control. Considering these issues, and the fact that there are much better (and fairer) free-to-play MOBAs out there, there's really not much reason to play Flame Versus Blaze.
