Contra: Evolution looks better than the original arcade game, but it's hampered with inadequate controls.

For fans of Gamevil games or strategy titles, and aren't afraid to eventually spend some money, this may be worth checking out. The average person should probably pass.

Do you like grinding out gear to make some numbers go up? This flashy, free-to-play action rpg offers up plenty of that, but little else

This beautiful game captures the wonder and mystery of discovering a new planet, but doesn't stick to its strengths throughout.

The ideas in Farm Punks have a lot of potential. I can see a good version of this game hiding somewhere inside of it. It’s not just the monetization to blame, here. Even if Farm Punks was a fully premium experience, its underdeveloped gameplay undercuts its interesting premise.

I was extremely disappointed by Razor: Salvation. I enjoyed Siegecraft, but a lot in this title just feels half-baked.

This game combines two great genres but ends up feeling disjointed as a result.

There's a lot to play through in Jane's Zoo with 39 levels in all, but admittedly it is all a little too simple and easy to complete. I did quite enjoy my time playing it but there was still that sense that the game was almost playing itself.

Axon Runners is a game that has some intriguing roots at its core: fast gameplay, flashy graphics, and a control scheme designed for touch screens. It's fast, it's just too disappointingly quick.

Gorgeous artwork and abundant creatures to collect can't really save Dragonwood Academy from its own rudimentary gameplay.

Eden would be a decent imitation of something like Lara Croft GO if it didn't feel so unwieldy. Perhaps if it moved a little faster, had an undo button, and squashed a few more bugs, it would be great. As it currently stands though, Eden is a very middling puzzle game.

Anyone who legitimately enjoys the "freemium" model will probably like playing the zoo version of that other game they've already been playing for months. I just think it's too simplified and drawn-out to hold the average player's interest for more than a minute or two. If that.

I really hope the developers add more levels in the future with different themes and unique objects, because the premise is solid and could be expanded on. The open level allows players to explore around and do what they want which is a nice change from game with specific objectives.

Swing King and the Temple of Bling has a neat swing mechanic, but it's otherwise a pretty unsurprising puzzle/platformer. If you've played something like Major Magnet before, you know most of what to expect here. Perhaps if the game's swinging felt a bit easier to control or the game's monetization strategy was a little less annoying, the game would feel more special. As it stands now though, Swing King is pretty middling.

Overall, Flipstones is a good little puzzle game which has been well thought out. However, for $1.99 the game could do with a few more modes and/or a multiplayer elements before I would recommend this.

Don't expect spills and thrills with FoundIt or even fancy looks, it's clearly not that kind of game. While it would have been nice to have seen more variety with the different levels (the flags of the world were particularly tedious compared to cartoon animals), it's not bad. It makes for an OK distraction to dive into once in a while.
