While it probably won't have as significant an impact as the previously released Lego properties, Legends of Chima: Speedorz certainly has the potential to be a family friendly time sink for those looking for a lighthearted racer. Plus, when factoring in the additional content coming down the road, there is no reason not to give this free romp a try.

Arel Wars' strategy gameplay gets easier to comprehend over time, but it's still just too much information thrown at the player to be much fun, and the paywall that the game hits about 20 levels in is just more frustrating than anything. Strategy fans and Gamevil fans may enjoy this, but that's about it.

Monster Warrior isn't a groundbreaking game by any means. It does justice to the slice and dice style of its genre, but there are a few things it could be doing better to stack up more favorably against the competition. That said, players looking for a spooky slicing game to help them get into the Halloween spirit may like this one.

There's fun to be had from Super Word Scramble but it's unrefined and flawed. It's more forgivable at $0.99, but still means it's more of a 'if nothing else stands out' kind of purchase.

Veering a little too close for comfort to other games of the same ilk, Dragon Puzzle is a slightly confusing card game/RPG/Match Three hybrid lacking in soul.

Voyageur's biggest problem is that there isn't enough of it. For a game about exploring an environment as vast as space, the whole game becomes pretty familiar and feels really small after spending just a short time with it. As much as I love what is currently in Voyageur's package right now, they way it gets recycled makes it hard to recommend.

Despite its looks, this Warhammer 40k strategy game is about as graceful and elegant as the bulky space marines being portrayed.

The interesting ideas behind Dynasty of the Magi are certainly worth noting and since it’s free there’s no harm in taking a look. Sadly it’s just not a good game. Free or not, it’s just not something I could see anyone playing for an extended period of time.

I'm glad to see Colin Lane continuing to make weird sports games, but I'd like to see things trend more toward things like Golf Zero than Touchdowners. Although this game doesn't really feel like football, it still feels a little too much like a sport. This makes Touchdowners seem like something you might want to play with someone else, but not alone against AI.

Busy Bags is just like so many other time management games. Nothing really stands out to be as being really good or really bad. The gameplay has its moments of fun, but the controls and pace of the game need a little work.

There is some satisfaction in Death Point's stealth action, but all of it comes with a bevy of caveats. Mechanically, it is capable of delivering experiences reminiscent of Splinter Cell or Hitman, but its story, characters, and design all get in the way. This makes Death Point hardly worth checking out, even if you're a big stealth-action fan.

Part of what hampered the controls for me was the lack of lateral space in portrait mode. Combined with the fairly wide flock awareness circles, this left me having to carefully micromanage strategic sheep maneuvers with tiny movements that rendered time bonuses almost impossible to get after the first couple of chapters.

With its high level of polish and fun graphics, it's hard not to recommend CvZ, but it just isn't that enjoyable past a few levels. The whole system, in my opinion, needs to be reworked to make better use of the western town.
