    She did a fantastic job combining sounds from so many different places (mainly Portugal) and making what feels like a global album. In some songs she utilized elements from the reggaetón trend that is going on but she made it her own and created something different that we hadn’t heard before. In all honesty, wasn't a Madonna fan after listening to her last two albums which had some true gems that deserved to be megahits but were overall underwhelming and uninspired. However, this album is impeccable. Probably has two songs worth skipping in the deluxe (15 songs) version. Faz Gostoso and **** I'm Loca are upbeat dance songs which can make aObjectively the best album of 2019.     An amazing comeback! Songs like God Control and Crazy are excellent dance tracks, the international aspect, including Faz Gostoso, Medellín and Batuka, and the heartfelt I Don’t Search I Find, Looking For Mercy, and I Rise ballads really add a lot to the album

    Finally a great Madonna album in about a decade. Feels fresh and brand new. Rebel heart, Mdna, And Hard candy were all great dance music but we’re all chasing trends. In Madame X Madonna finds her mojo again and starts creating trends instead of looking for them.

    Most experimental album of her career so far! Must be listened! As Madonna already said: it’s not background music; every song should be accepted as a whole new story. Ballads are especially good this time. Madame X deserves 100 Grammys, but they ignoring her since Hard Candy era. The Academy should change its mind.

This is record no less conceptual than Confessions and no less personal than American Life. Madonna in this album takes you on a magical journey into her own new universe. We dance with her in Medellin and Faz Gostoso, singI always think that if you don’t understand Ray of Light, Erotica and American Life albums, then you don’t understand Madonna. Madonna in this album takes you on a magical journey into her own new universe. We dance with her in Medellin and Faz Gostoso, sing with magic choir in God Control (one of Madonna’s best songs of this century) and cry in Looking for mercy. The presence of Madonna felt in every track, and this is amazing. Madame X is a new classic in her discography. This album is really not background music.     Madame X is one of her best albums of all time... she has such a variation of types of songs in this album and continues to make unique music. The songs are catchy and infectious. She incorporates strong messages at the same time as not allowing it to distract from the song in God Control and the controversial Killers Who Are Partying. A great album. PERIODT!

    This is an artistic expression of her time in Portugal. I have no seen anyone produce an album like this. It’s a very dark and fun album. If you wanted dance tracks, this album has 4 great disco tracks. Her experimental work really shows that she put all her work and effort in it. No fillers songs!!

    It’s very unusual work from Madonna. The last album that had the same feeling was “American Life” (2003), produced by Mirwais A. too. There’s only one song on the album which feels mainstream to me - Future (feat. Quavo), produced by Diplo. All other tracks are very unusual and unique.

    Overall, Madonna’s fourteenth album Madame X feels as if Mirwais had mostly completed a decent run-of-the-mill modern pop record, albeit with a cool hotch-potch global feel; hip nods in place to fado, dub and other micro-genres dunked amongst the trap and retro disco. But then just before sign-off, Herself went through the top-lines with a sharpie. ... None of these carefully curated flourishes feel as if they truly live inside the ‘whole’ of this music. Instead it all feels plonked on top of a template.
