    Best album for the past decades. Brought out a lot of emotions in me.
    The autotune is a little to digest at first, but as a whole, sonically, it built the tone of the whole album.

    Madame X is by far and away Madonna's boldest album put forth, and that is saying something from the same artist who released Erotica, American Life and Ray of Light. While I've only had a few days to sit and soak up this album properly my reaction is that this work will define her even more so than Like A Prayer or Ray of Light. After the releases of MDNA and Rebel heart i was afraid this would be just another EDM or pop music like everybody else is doing, but it turns out to be one of the best albums of her entire carrier. Some of the sounds are very experimental and sound bizarre but never unpleasant. My favorite tracks are Dark Ballet, Crazy and God Control. This is a master pieceMadame X is surprisingly good.     Experimental, different to anything that is out there. Highly addictive. When you listen from beginning till the end, Madame X takes you in a journey around the world dancing and opening your eyes to new rhythms and yet a very Madonna album

    Madonna not following any trends but making them yet again. Great record, memorable, different, weird, intriguing. Has a lot of powerful stuff to say in its lyrics. Breath of fresh air compared to the same tired boring artists that get played on the radio today but for some silly reason radio stations don’t know good pop music and have a problem with Madonna being 60. Pathetic.

    This record represents the artistic genius Madonna is. Every song is different than the other. It's an incredible fusion of pop music with sounds from different cultures. You travel the world when listening the album. During the same time, you also hear her discussing some issues happening in the world, some personal issues: pain, love, desire.

This album is experimental and thought provoking tackling major current issues such as gun control, democracy as well as LGBTQ issues. Rather than taking a dark route in direction with these issues Madonna creates a uplifting disco infused track called God control which tackles the subject of gun control the lyrics are deep but the disco beat is fun and uplifting. Madonna 40 years into her career still creating masterpieces whilst many in her position would just be in Vegas or singing covers of ABBA songs. This is why Madonna is the most successful female artist! She’s not interesting in making the same generic music that everyone else is making, she’s pushing boundaries and making art.
    God Control and Dark Ballet are so ballsy and exotic and completely bonkers but both are incredible. God Control is an amazing song. There are so many highlights on this album but the dance track I Don’t Search I Find is incredible and a throw back to the 90s. Looking For Mercy is Madonna at her greatest. Come Alive, Crazy, Crave, Medellín, Faz Gostoso, I Rise and Future are amazing tracks. Even **** I’m Loca which I thought was going to be awful, is infectious and addictive. What an excellent album!     Undoubtedly one of Madonna's worst albuns, but it has 3/4 songs that are worth listening to. I was disappointed with the exaggerated use of autotune.

    A completely different album from Madonna, yet it all feels very Madonna. A brilliant and interesting collection of songs, of which the "political segment" (Dark Ballet - Killers Who Are Partying) is absolutely stunning. Lisbon has been very well for her, it revived her ambition to create thoughtful art. Highly recommended!

    Madonna is back to form. Well she was already with her Rebel Heart - but a lot of things went wrong - leaks and so on.
    I was afraid after the announcements that the Album would sound again more like a collection (Mdna, Hard Candy) but it does not.
    MadameX shows Madonna more theatrical and political. With a multicultural language mix (portugues/brasil, spanish, english) HipHop Beats    Madonna is back to form. Well she was already with her Rebel Heart - but a lot of things went wrong - leaks and so on.
    I was afraid after the announcements that the Album would sound again more like a collection (Mdna, Hard Candy) but it does not.
    MadameX shows Madonna more theatrical and political.
    With a multicultural language mix (portugues/brasil, spanish, english) HipHop Beats meeting Ethno, Classic and DeepHouse sounds.
    Colourful, thoughtful but including fun songs like the portuguese Faz Gostose together with Anita.
    Other collaborators are Maluma on the first Reggaetone Medellin or the wonder- and Soulful Vocals of Swae Lee on "Crave". Incl. an LGBT Tribute with the great "I rise", tribal Africa Chant Rytms like the great Batuka.

    The Deluxe Edition (recommended) got three extra tracks - all great.

    What an Album! Well - we all know: NOBODY does deliver litke Madonna.

    The only negative thing is the heavy use of Autotune/Vocoder on the Vocals.

Give the album more than one listen, because not all songs are instant radio hits, but all songs are of a high quality and worth listening to.     This is truly a masterpiece. She achieves to combine different musical genres without losing her identity. A musical journey worth listening to. Madame X is an album you need to listen without prejudice. It is Madonna experimenting and taking risks no other artist of her size would ever take. Just brilliant.

    American Life 2.0 elevado à novos patamares. Passando por diversas culturas o álbum se destaca pela sua imprevisibilidade e versatilidade ao explorar novos tons. O conteúdo politico está presente em boa parte do álbum, o que já o torna especial. Não espero que o público em geral compreenda a grandiosidade de um trabalho que sem duvidas está muito a frente do seu tempo.

    This album is amazing! The experimental production and the vocal distortions like in Dark Ballet brings such a new age form of music. The blend of other cultures such as Brazil in the song Faz Gostoso is magnificent.

Madame X takes us on a journey through the world through several rhythms and dances, makes us think with her political lyrics and sings very well in Portuguese. With this new album,    Madame X is bold and multicultural!

    What an amazing and diverse album. Like some of her previous albums (e.g. I'm Breathless, Erotica, American Life) this one might be misunderstood or overlooked by some critics, because it's ahead of its time. But the value is right there for everybody to appreciate right now!

    Incrível como ela conseguiu retornar às suas origens. Esse álbum parece uma retrospectiva da longa carreia da cantora. Destaques para God Control que lembra músicas do álbum Confessions on a Dance Floor, I don’t Search I find que parece ser a continuação de Vogue e Ciao Bella que parece ter saído do álbum Ray Of Light.

    Ótimo álbum! Até então o melhor lançamento em anos.

    Madame X até que tinha uma boa proposta em reunir estilos e gêneros musicas em um único registro, mas errou na execução do projeto, a maioria das musicas tem uma produção chocha e nada excepcional, em “I Don’t Search I Find” que tem a melhor produção do álbum (e bem saudosista) a experiência é arruinada pelo exageros na edição em sua voz. Liricamente é qualquer coisa também, o álbum é malMadame X até que tinha uma boa proposta em reunir estilos e gêneros musicas em um único registro, mas errou na execução do projeto, a maioria das musicas tem uma produção chocha e nada excepcional, em “I Don’t Search I Find” que tem a melhor produção do álbum (e bem saudosista) a experiência é arruinada pelo exageros na edição em sua voz. Liricamente é qualquer coisa também, o álbum é mal organizado, enquanto ela canta sobre sua experiência melancólica de crescer no ocidente, na faixa seguinte ele canta sobre trair seu marido, todas as musicas que ela tenta cantar em português é um grande desastre e fica até cômico, como na faixa Crazy.

    Enquanto nos outros registros por mais desastrosos que fossem ela ainda conseguia oferecer grandes musicas como Devil Wouldn’t Recognize You, Misterpiece e Hold Tight o mesmo não se aplica ao Madame X, o álbum não tem nenhuma musica memorável, marcante ou grandiosa que faça jus ao legado de sua interprete, muito pior que errar tentando com um disco ruim e pretensioso, é errar tentando com um disco inesquecível como esse.    … Expand

    This album is shockingly innovative, unexpected from M, and a true indication that instead of trying to write an album that sounds like all other modern pop, she chose to express herself artistically and unapologetically. There are so many moments of brilliance on this album, lyrically, sonically and creatively. This is art.

    the most interesting fact of this album is the big experiment which the queen of pop has made. maybe many people won’t understand the concept or the art of this work, but it’s clear that madame x sounds like an album which is going to be remembered in a near future. congratulations.

So, even putting together different musical genres, Madame ❌ sounds cohesive and fluid. A brilliant, complex, experimental and audacious piece of work that could seem ridiculous in less talented artists.     Even if I am a proud Madonna fan, this album has surprised me positively with the first listening and I’m playing it in repeat mode on. Why? Because is giving Latin music a new twist with her own brand style. Even when i enjoyed the single Medellin I was a bit nervous about the complete album, but I feel in love with the cohesive sound, the mix of styles; specially with crazy, god control,Even if I am a proud Madonna fan, this album has surprised me positively with the first listening and I’m playing it in repeat mode on.     Brilliant album love it . My favourite album by Madonna so far. I have been a fan since 1984 . She is an amazing woman and role model and Madame x is a wonderfully written album with a mixture of songs for everyone and strong meanings for each song. Masterpiece

    Overall, Madonna’s fourteenth album Madame X feels as if Mirwais had mostly completed a decent run-of-the-mill modern pop record, albeit with a cool hotch-potch global feel; hip nods in place to fado, dub and other micro-genres dunked amongst the trap and retro disco. But then just before sign-off, Herself went through the top-lines with a sharpie. ... None of these carefully curated flourishes feel as if they truly live inside the ‘whole’ of this music. Instead it all feels plonked on top of a template.
