This movie was incredibly unfortunate. I enjoyed the previous Wonder Woman movie, and was looking forward to this one. It felt like this entire movie was written by somebody that had no experience in film or creative fields. All the issues and character’s challenges were incredibly clumsy and thoughtless. Every character had the most generic motivations, and their conflicts have unsatisfying conclusions. Please spend your Christmas watching something else because at the end of this movie, my family lamented wasting two and a half hours watching this hot mess.… Expand

Like I watched Zack Snyder's Justice League and those 4 hours flew by; just a masterpiece but this films 2 and a half hours just dragged! Love Pedro pascal but wow was his character just lame and terribly written! Kristen wig played Kristen wig and she looked great; but there was really no point to her character and her transformation into a villain. What a waste of two actors and their villain characters. I would say save your time and don't waste it on this; and don't get me started on that terrible ending! Very disappointing after so much hyped. How they green-lit WW3 after 3 days and not a Justice League 2 and Justice League 3 after all the goodwill and praise it is getting is beyond me! WB and the higher ups don't want to make money and fans happy it seems.… Expand

Diana asks everyone to renounce their wishes in the end so that everything goes back to normal. She says the wishes are a shortcut to your objective. What if a crippled person wished to walk. Is that a short ut to walking what if a dying man asked to be saved from a incurable illness is he having a shortcut to being alive? Just a stupid plot altogether. And the way they brought back steve was to put him in a random body and then he and Diana GET INTIMATE. In another dudes body.worst movie of the century… Expand

now everyones covered the mess of the story so ill just state plainly the huge issues of this movie which are, diana now effectivly being a R@pist, and the raging misandry, so diana and steve bang asualt the possesed man (cant use the word starting with s as this place is touchy) a man who cannot consent and its shrugged off as ok and they dont even bother ackowleging it instead using it as a joke, how do you expect us to stand with a hero who has no problem with ruining the life of the possesed man, almost getting him killed and so on

now the misandry, every man save for steve is a raging douchebag misognistic twit and whats funny is the director stated it was a comment on misogny women face in the world and how women are consantly being treated like objects, yet proceeds to name the bang assualted possesed man as HANDSOME MALE like she couldnt give him a name, bloody bond babes get name and we all now how misognistic those movies are

honestly i could write so much on how scummy this is but thankfully many have already seen this and shown there disgust, dont see this movie if you have any respect for the charcters and for people in general cause it insults everyone… Expand

I really liked the first Wonder Woman and went into this one with an open mind and positive attitude only to get an hour into the film and 'wishing' for it to be over. It is really that bad. If you are at least hoping for a cool 80's soundtrack to bring a little redemption to the film, you will disappointed there too. Not a single 80's song. This is absolutely the perfect film to put an exclamation point on 2020.… Expand

What I didn't like was the fact that they bring Steve back as a spirit that possesses some random guy's body, and that Diana and Steve, while possessing this man's body, are not only in this man's home, and trying on his clothes, but she has sex with this possessed man in his bed. If this wish stone made other people's wishes come true, and created giant walls and made other things materialize, then why didn't they just bring Steve back in his own body? Why did he have to take over this random man's life, who basically has no say in the matter? I'll bet you if the roles were reversed, and Batman or Superman wished for a dead lover to come back, and it possessed some random woman's body, and they had a scene with them waking up together in bed, that there would have been an uproar, because isn't that considered rape? Having sex with someone who's drunk or drugged, and not in control of their body or able to give consent, isn't that considered rape? And in the remainder of the movie this man, who is possessed by the spirit of Steve Trevor, is put into various perilous situations and even shot at and I don't think that's cool. Plus, I thought you only get one wish, so why did Barbara get two wishes? Her first wish to become like Diana, then the second wish to become an apex predator/Cheetah? That completely contradicts what we were told in the beginning of the movie. And why are all the men portrayed as catcalling jerks (i.e., except for Steve Trevor)? And why is there a little boy just roaming around unattended in various offices and facilities, and in the one of the last scene's he's stranded and walking alone on a stretch of highway, and at the end comes running out of the woods by himself? Where's his mother or guardian? Also, how does a man (Steve Trevor) who only flew planes in the 1940's able to fly a military jet that has 1980's technology? I think there are too many plot holes and things that make no sense, and that are just wrong and cringeworthy, especially the fact that a superhero has sex with a non-consenting possessed man. That's just wrong on so many levels and this movie is just wrong on so many levels.… Expand

I was really hyped for this. The trailer was amazing, it made the movie look like a damn adventure. I genuinely felt that this was going to be the best of DC since Shazam!. But it flopped so hard. Good lord this was about as fun as British cuisine. Finally we have the Cheetah. I saw a distinct similarity between her and Jamie Fox’s Electro, which is a massive insult because at least Electro had amazing CGI.… Expand

It's almost a rom com with how cheesy and poor the storyline and acting is. It is also somehow painfully dragged out over 2 1/2 hours. This is one of the few movies I have ever watched when I have wanted it to end much, much sooner.

Wow. DC just excels at making cinematic crap lately. Even with the awesome cameo at the end, they managed to take all the gains the first movie made and throw it all away with two and a half hours of just total crap. Why even set it in theWow. Not only is this the worse Wonder Woman movie so far (I’m a big fan of the first one and everything else she was in), but this teeters on just simply a horrible, low class, corner cutting movie period. I am appalled at the professional critics reviews, as they lost all respect from me now. To give this movie ANY credit shows a excuse making mentality. Shame on you all !

First off, the very very beginning was great ! I was feeling at home with a proper Wonder Woman movie and story evolving. BUT the first moment I seen one of the women jump, I was like what ?? 2021 and the special effects are going backwards ?? Literally as the movie progressed every single special effect looked horribly fake. Faker than past older movies even. What’s going on ? Come on critics, call a duck a duck, don’t be shy. Tell it like it is. This movie cut corners and it ruined it for me. Next, the premise behind the stone/storyline/villain was just so discombobulated and grossly separated from anything believable. I could go on with details but none of us have time. It just sucked, the villain sucked the idea sucked the execution sucked and the core of the premise wasn’t based on anything I can believe unlike any other comic book movie. The way Steve came back was just utterly stupid. Next thing, Wonder Woman don’t fly. That was ridiculous and again looked horrible. She is not Superman, YET took a Superman position in the sky. There was a million ways I could have made this movie better and up to par with the first one. I sure hope this is not a sign of what’s to come next nor do I want Covid19 to be a excuse for corner cutting. Furthermore we as fans and critics should NOT go easy on judging this movie. Facts are facts and situations don’t spawn excuses for mediocracy to be claimed as ok.

I loved the fact they finally did the invisible jet (cause she does have one for real) and I like the Lasso, BUT again they super overly cheesed out with the way she used it by grappling onto clouds and lightning bolts.. Like that's a big NO ! Cheesy, wrong. Every other comic book movie has been great till this one. (well End Game kinda sucked too, but at least it was better than this absolute disaster).

I'm honestly amazed at anyone who is unintelligent enough to accept this as a correctly done movie.… Expand

However, this film was historically inaccurate. For onr, why does the man possessed by Chris pine not remember who wonder woman is? He was there the hole time. It's like watching Indiana Jones. If Indiana wasn't in the story, the nazi's would still have died. Same thing with WW1984. She wasn't important for the storyline. A total mess with major plot holes.
