What a great movie this was. Tom Holland is without a doubt the best Spider-Man after this film. All the emotional pay offs it has for the most part feel earned and it is a very crowd pleasing experience this movie.

In this post End Game era we have to admit we were all wondering how can marvel top that phenomenal movie now that most of the original cast have parted ways from the Studio, although we did see glimmers of hope here and there with Marvels entry into the OTT space and it’s new initiatives such as Shang Chi and Eternals, I still felt that there was something lacking with the new direction and not sure if they could achieve that same magic again.
But boy did marvel prove not just me but all the doubters wrong with this Spider-Man movie, not giving away any spoilers but this feels like a true Spider-Man flick after a long time. We see Peter reeling with the after effects of what happened in Far from home which not only affects him this time but the people closest to him. It was nice to see everyone in the movie more involved in the story than before , MJ, Ned, Happy, Aunt May, etc are no longer side characters with fleeting impacts, they have a purpose in this movie and that’s to help Peter make the right choice and not the best choice for him.
Benedict Cumberbatch is back as the mystical Doctor Strange but not like how hardcore Sherlock fans would have wanted , he actually takes a break from most of the sequences but makes his presence feel desirable and not overbearing.
Classic villains like Doc Oc , Green Goblin, Electro, Lizard, Sandman play their roles exceptionally well. They don’t drag the story too far to make it tiresome nor does their presence feel diminished, Jon watts actually did quite well in bringing a Russo Brothers like experience. Oh and I know that YouTube is totally flooded with leaks and you guys would already know the big twist that marvel wanted to drop on us but in the interest of preserving the essence of the movie am not gonna spoil it for you folks u better watch it in the theatres and enjoy it while you can.

The only reason I enjoyedThis Movie was an overall safe option if Spiderman goes to Sony fully in the divorce and otherwise a big ass prologue to Doctor Starge 2, i kinda miss when a superhero movie was a movie about the hero in the title. The only reason I enjoyed the movie even a bit was because of the fanservice. But that should NEVER be the sole reason why a movie is enjoyable. The "With great power comes great responsibility" scene felt unearned, the characters where written so stupidly for being highly intelligent individuals??? "Fixing" the Spiderman villains just shows that the writers don't get why the villains are so iconic and memorable. Well at least the action looks good. Expand

IN MID CREDIT SCENE WHEN VENOM LEAVES BUT ITS SMALL PART REMAINS THAT WAS ALSO GOOD AND THE TRAILER OF DOCTOR STRANGE: IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS IN POST CREDIT SCENE WAS LIT . SO BASICALLY WHEN MYSTERIO REVEALS THAT PETER PARKER IS SPIDERMAN AND HE KILL MYSTERIO EVERYONE WERE JUST THINKING THAT MYSTERIO WAS RIGHT . SO PETER AND HIS FRIENDS COULDN'T JOIN MIT , THEN HE GO TO DOCTOR STRANGE AND ASK FOR HELP AND THEN BECAUSE OF INTERRUPTIONS IN CASTING OF SPELL THE PEOPLE WHO KNOW THAT PETER PARKER IS SPIDERMAN FROM EVERY UNIVERSE CAME TO THIS UNIVERSE. The same MCU that had always tried to get out of the comfort zone, to innovate, to deviate from certain canons, this time tried in every way to reassure the fans, to give them just what they wanted without daring a bit or writing a good script, all of this in order to avoid diverting attention from returning characters, a thing always hoped for by fans. Before this movie came out I thought of two alternatives: it could have been a mediocre movie with great fan service or a great movie with poor fan service. Well, I'm afraid to say what I saw was a bad movie with poor fan service. In fact, the problem with the movie is not only how much it lacks in substance and how it is put on the screen but also the fan service itself which, as it came through, was weird, patchy, stale and bland. The entry of those two characters on the scene was the most forced thing I have ever seen, and I really can't stand the thought I have waited two years to see such a minimal interaction among the three characters and such a boring and hasty final battle (with recycled scenes too). Plus, the movie seems to have no actual second act, same thing happened to Dark Phoenix and just like in Dark Phoenix the main actor stated that the script was written during filming, and it shows. This movie is the worst possible answer to Scorsese and his "theme parks", I have always disagreed with this statement and if it wasn't true before, with very few exceptions, this movie makes me question it, as I don't think No Way Home is definable in any other way. As far as I'm concerned it is among the worst 5 MCU movies and the worst Spider-Man live action movie, and you have no idea how heartbreaking it is for me to say that. After excellent and innovative products such as Wandavision and Eternals, 2021 Marvel for me ends with a huge step back. Expand

The death of Aunt May is laughable. The "villains" from the other movies are not at all what they once were. The movie is rushed but in the meantime, nothing happens...
It's a bad movie, with only one plot: nostalgia is great, 'member how great Andrew and Toby were? Plus the ending is exactly the same as spider man 2? Is that plagiarism?

However, the final film in the "Home Trilogy" of Marvel's MCU Spider-Man brings my rocky opinions of Tom Holland's Spider-Man to a very fun, very endearing finish. This film tugs at the heart of the characters journey and brings him full circle. Thanks to the excellent, Spiderverse inspired joining of different characters joining the film from other iterations of Spider Man, No Way Home flies higher than its predecessors and settles on a close 2nd place to Spider-Man 2 in the rankings of best films with the character. Everyone's been trying to teach the whining little spiderbaby lessons, but he just doesn't grow up. No "With great power there must also come great responsibility" motto, no true inner motivation for heroism, therefore no more actual core of spirit of this character.
And most importantly, he doesn't even have enough power to solve his own problem by himself. Is that what a superhero supposed to be like? The world has already given him enough time to grow up, come on.

An amazing way to end the trilogy and a must watch if you enjoy Marvel films. All those involved have truely created something special. It's basically unheard of to have a trilogy end on a high note and they've pulled it off.

I was laughing. Laughed a lot. I have not seen so many inconsistencies and errors in the logic of the world in any Marvel movie.
The plot, the acting and blah blah blah are all at the level of the latest Marvels - THE BOTTOM.

This was probably the best Spider-Man movie that capitalized on everything that makes Peter Parker. This is truly the prime Spider-Man story that will never be forgotten.

The most ambitious and ballsy spidey flick yet that somehow manages to balance great humour, fantastic action, nostalgia kicks, and emotional weight. A true culminating of all the spider-man films that have come before. It's an absolute rollercoaster of a movie that wraps up Tom Holland's trilogy in a completely satisfying way, even if it’s a bit messy in both it’s plot and visuals at times. Expand

I’m not somebody who gets butterflies every time I see something I recognize from my childhood. If that’s you, stop reading.

This movie is dumb, even by Marvel standards. Parts of the movie are shot and color corrected like a comedy movie.
I’m not somebody who gets butterflies every time I see something I recognize from my childhood. If that’s you, stop reading.

This movie is dumb, even by Marvel standards. Parts of the movie are shot and color corrected like a comedy movie. In fact, the whole movie seems like a 2 hour CollegeHumor parody.

There’s a scene that’s supposed to be emotional that came across as comedic due to the sheer absurdity of the situation.

Nothing is organic. Everything happens because a character decided to turn their brain off. Unfortunately, turning your brain off is also the only way to think of this as anything more than a forgettable Hollywood time-killer.

This movie was a groundbreaking masterpiece. Disney and Sony actually pulled of seemingly the impossible, and made a live action Spiderverse movie that didn’t feel forced but actually had a lot of heart and soul put into it.

It made you emotional, and gripped at your sadness, but overall, it was an amazing movie. I love how he went back to the OG Spiderman suit, just really shows that he IS spiderman. It made me very emotional, and not to mention it had a lot more comedy then the others which really put the movie together. I love how they added the two other OG Spiderman, they really brightened up the show. I loved watching doctor strange, and all the other villains coming back. Probably the BEST Spider-Man movie OF ALL TIME. It made me cry when MJ, and Ned forgot who he was, my heart broke. Tom Holland played his part SO WELL! Even though it had an extremely sad ending, it left me feeling happy, and satisfied that the movie turned out worth the hype. The movie theater was all hyped to see it. And at the ending scene, it shows Venom. I was left with a huge jaw drop, and I almost screamed. I would recommend this movie, there are a few swears, but not that bad. It's a very clean movie besides some gore, but if you don't mind blood, then go right ahead and watch the movie. Again I feel like Tom really put character into Spiderman this time, he really captured his sadness and emotion, and even showed his heroic side when he decided to have everyone, even Happy, Ned, and MJ forget who he is. Really broke my heart, but shows how much he would do to save the world. Expand
