The way the story line was put together including the characters was done really well . Of coarse the special effects and camera shots were crazy awesome but everyone already knows the effects will be great but a great story line going into sequels is difficult . Reguardless of Marvel movies all tying in together somehow this movie could have easily not been as successful but thankfully the writers producers and directors did an awesome job putting it together. Theres a nice balance of humor as well and lots of action alot more than the previous two Spidey films. This movie really shows with great power comes great responsibility . Stay for the two end credit scenes at the end of the movie worth it . The chemistry between Holland and Zendaya is as believable and real in the movie as in real life since they've been dating for a few years now . This movie has a weight to it serious storyline with a along with a deep heartfelt story that goes with it. Any Spidey fan will love this movie I've watched these films since the first was released way back in 2002 . Stan Lee would be proud of this newest film honestly after seeing I'm not at all surprised it's made a billion + dollars now as of Christmas day 2021 worth your time and money go see it you will not be disappointed Expand

Comentario de “Spider-Man No Way Home”

We all know Tom Holland's spiderman as harmless, but in this movie, his "Mr nice guy" personality is tested to it's limits with the murder of his aunt May. It really shows character development. Since his identity was compromised and the public scrutiny has destroyed his life, he goes to Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) to help him return to anonymity. Of course, things go wrong and all sorts of surprises enter this world from other universes. The structure follows the typical storyline, but ramps up with extra villains and heroes. Holland once again exhibits his charisma and he’s surrounded by a cast of assured actors whose chemistry (sometimes comic) is a bonus. The pace never lags until the final conflict, which drags on too long with much of the usual staging that looks more like a videogame than reality. Fans should be thrilled at the meta revelations, while everyone else can expect more of the same for this series. NOTE: Sit thru the credits for a teaser for the next Dr. Strange film. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. As a huge Andrew Garfield Spidey fan (he's easily my favorite, with his 2 movies being much superior in my opinion to any that have followed), I was looking forward to this movie. Specifically because I had no interest in the Tom Holland Spidey movies after watching the first one and it being quite boring and uninteresting. However, this movie is just middling. Theres nothing really great about it. Seeing Andrew and Toby are the only good parts. Andrew getting a redemption arc by saving MJ is probably the best thing about it. However, as a movie, it falls into the same issue most MCU type movies do, its rather predictable and boring. Expand

The current Marvel Spider-Man films have always centered around the confliction of Peter's identities, living as a teenage high-schooler, and as a "friendly neighbourhood" vigilante. What happens when this wall is shattered? Peter seeks helps from Doctor Strange, and using magic they try to erase the memory of Spider-man's true identity, from everyone. In the past, adding more villains have been the bane of the Spider-man films (Spider-man 3, The Amazing Spider-man 2), however, Jon Watts and his writers have concocted a story weaving together character motivations in the most coherent fashion. The Green Goblin (William DaFoe) Doc Ock (Alfred Molina) give stand out performances. Even Electro (Jaime Foxx) get's his moments to shine (or to spark). Revisiting the past allows the film to rectify the franchise, while paying an homage for all fans out there. The movie takes risks where the stakes have never been higher for Peter Parker. Spider-man has always been about his complicated relationships and friendships with the villains. All his loved ones of the hero are threatened, and so Peter must decide which identity he must inhabit fully. Expand

In many ways it absolutely does, but in some other ways it does fall a bit short. The film starts where Far From Home leaves off, with Spider-Man thought to be a killer and his name exposed to the world. This creates a hell of a problem for Peter Parker (Tom Holland), so he goes to visit Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) to see if he can help. Strange creates a spell to help, but accidentally opens a portal to the multiverse, allowing villains and fellow Spider-Men to make their way through into their universe. As a Science Fiction geek I love the whole idea of multiple universes, but as a film reviewer, I can't ignore the glaring plot hole here. Why did only Spider-Men and Spider-Man villains come through the portal? I also loved the fact that Andrew Garfield and Toby Macguire came back and played a part in the film, however it seemed like they were having a bit too much fun with their roles, and not taking it very seriously. Most of their dialogue was jokes and instead of fellow superheroes from another dimension, they really came across as more of a gay couple than anything else. Finally, where was Miles Morales? ...and don't give me any of this he was a cartoon **** This was a perfect opportunity for Disney/Marvel to address the lack of cultural diversity among their superhero franchise and they didn't do it.

That being said, this was every Spider-Man fans dream. This film not only appeals to fans of Marvel, but to Science Fiction fans as well. The whole multiverse angle was ingenious and will tie directly into the next Doctor Strange movie. It was also a blast from the past and brought back great childhood memories to see the other actors who portrayed Spider-Man in those roles one more time. As always Tom Holland was spectacular, the writing was clever and good for a few laughs, and uncharacteristic of most Marvel films, even the ending was unexpected. Despite the obvious plot holes, I really enjoyed this film and I think you will too.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The movie was exciting and all, but it suffers from the lack of a plot unless a main character does something unnaturally stupid. Also the multiverse thing doesn’t make much sense, why just spiderman characters? Why only 2 and not 7 billion different versions at the same time? What makes peter decide its ok to try to fix everything without pushing the button? I mean, the multiverse is broken because of you, you have no clue of what’s going to happen, what if billions of people get transported to your reality and people die by being crushed by each other? Anyway, the movie then goes fine and fun, but then parker tried to fix the villians, which would be fine if I wanted to watch a bubble guppies movie. This plotline takes away anything interesting from the villians and destroys what made them fun. Anyway, I’m not a huge fan of the MCU, do I did not take it seriously. Also, I watched the other 2 holland movies in spanish, but this one in english. Does hollands accent always show? I noticed it in a bit almost by the end, makes me feel the movie was rushed like, couldn’t they try another take with a more american accent? Why does the kid from queens sound like the cast of derry girls? Expand

But after a couple rewatches I realized that it allowed the story to focus on the characters we are more familiar with while also possibly even leaving some avenues open for future movies. This allowed us to have more personal moments with the characters we love than forcing something with characters we have never seen.
I could have done without the memes shoe-horned into the movies. It kinda take you out of the moment at times.
Also, I thought some the Spider-man CGI swinging and jumping action quality seems almost a step back from the first 2 franchises for some reason. Though the villains and some of their de-aging looked top notched.
But they minor quibbles don't make detract from the things that propelled this movie to near-perfect status in my book:
Peter losing Aunt May was gut wrenching. It didn't need to happen in this move, but it needed to happen to this Peter Parker because we never got that Uncle Ben moment and this was that moment for him. Like others have said, it's almost like these first movies in the MCU are this Peter's origin story. I like how Sony/Marvel is not just throwing the exact same story at us every few years with different villains. You noticed how, beside the Goblin, no Spider-man villain has been played by more than 1 actor. That is something else I appreciate that we aren't seeing the 3 iteration of the Harry/Peter story or the third Black Cat romance, etc. (I'm looking at you Batman with your 5 movie Jokers)
That ending how the MCU Peter/Spider-man gets a reset couldn't be more perfect and is surprisingly weighty and heartfelt. There are a dozen new directions Sony can take it from there.
Lastly, I loved how the Peters decided to save the villains and cure them instead of just punch and kick them back into their universes. Yeah, it makes things cloudy with how they reappear in their own dimension, some of them moments before their death, but it sets Spider-man aside as a different kind of hero. Especially when nearly all of his villains are results of accidents in the first place.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is a flawed but good fan service-based movie.

SPOILERS

At this point you've probably heard this already, so here it goes: many old faces return from older Spider-Man movies, including Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield as their respective versions of Peter Parker from alternate dimensions. They even hinted at Miles Morales eventually showing up in the future. My only complaint is they didn't include the japanese Spider-Man, from the 1970s japanese TV show :)

Also returning are Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock from the Netflix Daredevil series, Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock/Venom, and J. K. Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson in small roles. Other returning characters are many of the villains from the old Spider-Man movies (Doctor Octavius, Norman Osborne aka Green Goblin, Sandman, Lizard and Electro). But no MCU Spider-Man villain (Vulture, Scorpio, Shocker, Mysterio) makes a return.

For all the fan service that went into this movie the plot is a complete mess though. Starting with Tom Holland's Peter Parker wanting to make everyone but a few friends forget he is Spider-Man with help from Dr. Strange, Parker messes up the spell and ends up almost destroying the Multiverse. In the end Parker decides to let go and have everyone forget about him in order to save reality. The theme of the movie is cool in theory (the burden of what it takes to be a hero, super or not), but the execution is bad.

The action is poor, too. Only the initial battle of Spider-Man and Doctor Octavius is good, afterwards it's sub-par.

But the best part of this movie is surely the return of Maguire and Garfield for an extended, last hoorah. Watching the 3 Spider-Men in action is cool, just as it was in the animated "Into the Spiderverse" movie. But there were no cool scenes and action written to really take advantage of them. At least the movie has lots of heart overall.

This movie ends up making Spider-Man independent from his previous mentors (Tony Stark, Happy Hogan, Nick Fury and Doctor Strange), which is something that has negatively influenced Peter Parker across all the MCU Spider-Man films. Let's hope the next Spider-Man trilogy will be more of a real, independent, confident, and resourceful Spider-Man.

They come back and Marvel doesn't do anything about it. It's a terrible sadness for me, because Marvel hasn't gone all out on nostalgia, but we feel the distressing blowback of missing what we expected! Hoping that this aspect will be improved on all productions.

Starts off strong but then kinda stumbles in the second half with an overabundance of nostalgia bait and memberberries.

The premise is great: Peter and his friends suffer from the consequences of Spidermans identity being revealed. So in an effort to reverse this Peter asks Dr. Strange for help and through a series of mishap causes villains from different Spiderman universes to appear.
I won't spoil the rest of the movie but there certainly was an interesting twist roughly halfway through the movie.
However in the end the movie leans so heavily into moments of cheesyness and "remember this?" situations that it brought down the whole experience to a very underwhelming and frankly quite stupid finale (let's just say some characters come off like complete morons).

Plot 9

After Disney/Marvel Studios and Sony renegotiated with each other to continue sharing the movie rights to Spider-Man, the twenty-seventh instalment of Marvel Cinematic Universe continues the adventures of Spider-Man as he faces new and familiar enemies that are not from this universe but from another universe which is part of the Multiverse.

Immediately after the previous movie, J. Jonah Jameson of TheDailyBugle.net exposed Spider-Man’s real identity as Peter Parker (Holland) to the public by showing a doctored video footage which allegedly showing him murdered Mysterio. Peter along with his friends and family are wanted for questioning by the authorities about their connection to Spider-Man’s vigilante activities. Despite with the help of a lawyer named Matt Murdock to acquit Peter from criminal charges, public reactions toward him and Spider-Man continue to remain divisive.

As a result of the controversy, Peter along with Michelle-Jones Watson (Zendaya) and Ned Leeds’ applications to Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) are rejected. Unable to see his friends and family suffer, Peter goes to see Dr. Stephen Strange (Cumberbatch) for help which the latter has a spell to make everyone to forget that Peter is Spider-Man including himself, Michelle, Ned and Aunt May. Unfortunately, Peter keeps making request to let his friends and family to retain their memories while Dr. Strange is performing the spell which corrupt the spell but he manage to contain it.

As Peter goes to meet an administer of MIT to reconsider Michelle and Neds’ application, Peter is attack by Otto Octavius/Dr. Octopus and Norman Osborn/Green Goblin. Dr. Strange manage to capture Dr. Octopus and Curt Connors/Lizard except Green Goblin. He explains that the corrupted spell brings people from other universes who knows Spider-Man’s real identity. Spider-Man now have to find the other villains so that Dr. Strange can perform another spell to send them back to their respective universe.

If you have watched 2018’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, this movie is the live-action version of that movie. What makes it different from the animated movie is the movie used the characters which was already established from Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy and Marc Webb’s The Amazing Spider-Man duology. I seriously do not expect Marvel Studios and Sony were able to pull this off. It was really awesome to use those characters for the Multiverse storyline without creating a new one. Never in my lifetime I have seen this in a movie.

In addition to using those characters, both studios were able to bring the original actors to reprised their respective roles. Bringing them back for their roles really creates some nostalgic moments for those who have watched previous Spider-Man movies including myself. They even brought back two secret characters which they are played by the same actors. I will not reveal who are they because of heavy spoilers but I get the feeling you already know who it is. For their performance, they really gave their best shot and they still got it. That includes the two secret characters which both of them have not lost their touch.

Tom Holland really gave his best performance in this movie even better than the previous instalments. Not only his acting skills became better and more improvement, he played the character very well and he has the best character development. None of his spotlight was taken by other cast members. Speaking of cast members, they have also gave their best performances.

The story of this movie is very creative. For the first time ever or at least in the movie, the storyline is focused on Spider-Man’s real identity being exposed to the public and how the character has to deal with the situation. This is something that have not done in the previous Spider-Man movies. The movie is really heartwarming and dark at the same time. Despite the large cast, everyone got their chance to shine in the movie without overtaking the spotlight from one to another. Spider-Man is written to be a hero in his own way without tied up to being Iron Man or other heroes’ sidekick. Even the villains in this movies are not related to Iron Man like the previous two movies which is good for a change. The movie did a great job in tying up loose ends to the previous Spider-Man movies after they were cancelled by Sony.

The few bad things about this movie is none of the characters from Spider-Man: Homecoming and Far From Home are in this movie to tie up any loose ends which resulted into an aborted arc. Among the villains in this movie, Lizard have the least focus out of all the villains. Besides that, you really need to watch all the previous Spider-Man movies to fully enjoy this one.

Conclusion, Spider-Man: No Way Home is definitely the amazing and spectacular Spider-Man movie I have ever watched. Do not forget to stay back for a mid-credits scene and post credits scene.

The soap "The Bold and the Beautiful" has been airing since March 23, 1987 and in the States has exceeded 8,700 episodes: a mechanism tending to infinity, leaving the basic plot unchanged by applying insignificant variations or any (un)imaginable permutation. Marvel could have been content with similar stratagems as well, instead it has relaunched with horrifying new narrative expedients such as reboots and the multiverse to obtain a "death-free" outcome ever closer to self-cloning and to the definitive virtual defeat of Time. It makes Brooke and Ridge regret.
Ps: for the cinecomics please leave the "Talking Heads" of "I Zimbra" (1979) in peace. Thanks a lot.

I was particularly pleased to see Doctor Strange interact with Peter Parker - the attitude the older characters have towards our young adolescent spider based superhero I did find amusing. I like that these films don't entirely take themselves too seriously, although some people may disagree but I feel that's the case, with some of the tongue in cheek comments between different characters in the script.

Obviously if your a big fan of Marvel films in general then this will mean more as you'll know the back stories to at least some (if not all) of the numerous Marvel characters present in this film but even if not, its still a pretty fast paced and entertaining film regardless. There's plenty of CGI and its quite tense throughout. This is a very entertaining, amusing and sometimes quite gripping film that I enjoyed and I would happily recommend to others, yes. If your not a fan of Marvel films in general though, this may not be for you but most people should enjoy it, if only in part. I give this a solid 8/10.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. No Way Home is a brilliant celebration of three eras of Spiderman, each beloved in their own right, coming together in a perfect Spider-bonanza that will live rent free in my heart forever. The film is driven by the character’s core principle, the sacrifice and responsibility that comes with the powers, the “with great power comes great responsibility” line we’re all so used to.

Maybe the worst kept secret in modern cinema delivers some fantastic scenes that are both fun, and deeply emotional, exploring the weight of what the responsibilities of Spiderman really mean, and how that changes the man under the mask. As much as it develops the MCU’s concept of the character, it adds depth, and offers some resolution to the other universes that came before it.

Fanservice is peppered shamelessly throughout, to no real detriment in my mind. It’s precisely what people wanted from this film, to which it delivers in spades. From cameo
appearances to references to old films, and memes (Norman Osborn being “something of a scientist” himself and a certain Spiderman’s infamous back problems) the film embraces a lot of the community driven content that has arisen around these films over the years. The use of the Danny Elfman theme strikes a particular chord for me, having grown up with those films. Yes, the film plays on nostalgia, but it feels earned, particularly after all these years, and all this hype. It embraces the history of the character on the silver screen, with each era being given its own chance to shine.

The only downside is the film’s reliance on the audience's familiarity with the characters and backstories for each individual universe. Less of an issue for hardcore fans, to whom the movie is clearly heavily catered, but I can see it making the film a bit of a headscratch for those coming in blind, or who have only watched the MCU films.

Overall it definitely left me feeling satisfied. Spiderman within the MCU moves on to a more grounded path, as the friendly neighbourhood Spiderman after his more crazy adventures over the past few films. Garfield and Maguire’s heroes receive a good sendoff, as do the villains from their universes. If this is to be their last hoorah, then honestly, I’m satisfied. If Marvel do down the road want to reprise these characters in standalone films, or toy with the idea of a Spiderverse, then it would be really great to see them in action again. That said to see them suit up at all was already something I never thought we’d see, least of all in a single movie.

Whatever happens, No Way Home was a great film, and one of my favourite MCU films hands down. 9/10 no debate.

Spiderman No Way Far from Homecoming

I can somehow never remember the title, just the latest part with Tom Holland, so part 3.

Yes, I'm a real fan of our current Spiderman. The nice spider from the neighborhood got good films and delivered it again with its third part.
I jump right in with the beginning, which really annoyed me at first. The film's weakness is that it's staged badly at times. At the beginning you get into a completely chaotic start, which ties directly to the predecessor. Understandable, but I found the production simply exhausting. But it got better with the appearance of a certain person and from then on there are always great highlights. The whole concept of the multiverse also enables one or the other fan service.

So comes what must come and I was very happy about a certain performance. It made me feel nostalgic straight away and it was just cool to see him again.
Otherwise, the film surprisingly also has a lot of dark and sad moments, although one or the other production was a bit over the top. Not all of the gags worked, but he was able to make me laugh or smile.

A very eventful film with some of the coolest antagonists around the spider. References to the potential of the multiverse are always hidden in dialogues or scenes.

All in all for me after the Eternals debacle another successful Marvel film. 8/10 spiders.

Going in to the movie, I was expecting a long movie that, while having enjoyable moments, would not be able to live up to the hype that Marvel fans had created. I was pleasantly surprised that the movie is constantly engaging and manages to be enjoyable all throughout. Although the film has its weak points, at no point did I feel bored or cheated. Sure, there are some potholes, too, and the movie isn't perfect, but at the end of the day, it is enjoyable throughout. Expand

For an american movie pretty funny, i didn't expect that. Action-scenes and cinema-feeling as always good. Big questionmark is the beginning of the story. Big questionmark is the beginning of the story. Dr. Strange, who is always very critic and he even says things like "yeah some guys must die because their lives are not that important compared to the will of the universe" but in the meantime he does an spell so that the friends of spiderman can go to collegue... okay?? .. But the short answer is probably that Marvel wanted more money so they needed a reason for the story, no matter what. Expand

Just got back home! The film was everything Ive ever wanted in a spiderman film. Ive never felt this emotionally drained watching a superhero film. You have to watch this in theaters for the best experience.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Jon Watts can pride himself in the fact that he made a nearly perfect love-letter to all three of the Spider-Man film franchises. this movie could have come across as the latest Hollywood gimmick, but instead it proves that the concept of combing different reboots works perfectly when handled well and given a great, well written and acted story. The performances of Dafoe, Holland, Garfield and Maguire particularly give this movie true weight, with Garfield and Dafoe having particular memorable performances. The scene where Aunt May dies, and the moment where Maguire's Spider-Man is stabbed by the Green Goblin also carry great emotional weight, especially when considering the previous losses of the other Spider-Men. It is also a very funny film, with hilarious banter between the three Spider-Men. All and all, Marvel has proven that know exactly how to please their audience, and completely understand their own characters. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Pudo haber sido una mejor película con todos los personajes, sin embargo no es mala. La interpretación de los actores antagonistas es muy buena. Expand
