Never listen to critics. It’s got a slightly abrupt ending yes and there are some editing flaws. But apart from that the acting is great and the VFX isn’t as bad as people are claiming the one part I hate is the end credit scenes as theyNever listen to critics. To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Morbius. The conflict and charcacter development is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of classic English dramatic literature, most of the weight of the scenario will go overTo be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Morbius. The conflict and charcacter development is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of classic English dramatic literature, most of the weight of the scenario will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Michael’s nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these scenes, to realise that they're not only humorous- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence, people who dislike Morbius truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the depth in Morbius’ quote: “I am Venom. Just kidding, I’m Dr. Michael Morbius at your service.” which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Jared Leto's genius wit unfolds itself exclusively on the cinematic screens this April 1st. What fools... how I pity them… Expand

Absolute Masterpiece. Another banger from Jared Leto as expected. Almost as good as his Joker performance. This movie is about a half vampire guy or something, I dont really know but it's art. I haven't seen it btw.

The CGI occassionally gets into the trippy zone where the effects are heavy warranting a better creative direction or polishing. Apart from that, this is a cbm that delivers and offers a blast for those nerds who are into the sinister six comics. The post credits scene only add to the excitement with subtle references to MCU but still largely in the Marvel universe under Sony and which I honestly think needs further world building.… Expand

Morbius is one of the more real darker marvel sony film since The New Mutant, and it seems like to be another entertaining Marvel product since No Way Home, what i like the most in Morbius is how they take it so seriously, it's not like theMorbius is one of the more real darker marvel sony film since The New Mutant, and it seems like to be another entertaining Marvel product since No Way Home, what i like the most in Morbius is how they take it so seriously, it's not like the 2018 Venom movie which still have more humor than the serious thing, and of course Let There Be Carnage which is basically a jokes in literally every second of it, Morbius is 95% a real dark serious movie with a dark background story that played so well by Jared Leto and Matt Smith, Leto did a way fantastic job than Smith but he still great too, the movie is also a cinematically stunning film, everytime they did the slow-mo action shot i was amazed by it because it's a cool thing to do and i'm pretty sure people will make that as a problem but i found it to be awesome, i throughly enjoy the whole action scene including the final fight, i though it was amazing, the score was absolutely incredible, i'm not bored throughout the film, it feels fast, and overall i did really like Morbius, now it isn't a perfect movie, there is still a lot of flawed in here, including the movie have one of the worst kissing scene i've ever seen in movies, and they've done it twice, there is a one dance sequence in the film that is just horrible or more of like cringe to watch, there is a flashback scene in the beginning of the film that i found it to be very lame, and probably Milo vampire CGI face was just not as great as Jared Leto Morbius make up and CGI, and that's about it, thankfully there is still more of a good thing in Morbius in my opinion than the bad thing and overall Morbius is still a hell of a movie, it's simply one of the most entertaining films of the year.… Expand

There is a very 90s style, involving Morbius. It's not something that everyone will appreciate, but I personally found it quite amusing and able to remind me of great vampire stories from the time. A movie worth checking out.

Now, on the other end, the so-called critics and people that get drunk off of defiling art by talking about the CGI but, obviously, never skimmed through the comic - should be ashamed to know that Sony did the right thing by implementing Morbius's purple hue within his rapid motion. It is purposefully, not "cheap" or "lazy" animation! You can always tell when a student comes to class and didn't do the homework but pretends to act as though they did. In today's world of quick Google searches, you got phony professional or amateur critics that draw deductions on emotions rather than putting in the arduous hard work. It's such an oxymoron to refer to the animation as "cheap" and "lazy" without knowing the historical art style of the comic. It's always those who never do their homework that grossly chastises what they know little about. It psychologically proves that these very people are not only toxic and untrustworthy but live a life of lies.… Expand

We are back with marvel, and marvel never goes wrong, this movie is funny and a little bit scary.

Even though I didn’t pay to see this in theaters, I still feel enlightened, especially after seeing the movie on Blu-ray. This cinematic masterpiece is most definitely one of the greatest movies I’ve seen all year, let alone one of the greatest comic book films. I would recommend watching this to everyone, unless if you hate the film and don't understand how beautiful it is, though I will say that if you do hate this film, you really need to see it for yourself to recognize how truly delightful it is. Performances are exciting and vibrant, the action is tidy and organized, and the writing is the greatest I’ve seen in a long time. Events happen with high amounts of context, especially the dance scene with Milo. And let's not forget the part where Michael crushes some guy's hand and the dude says "I-I said it's time to go…" and then Morbius retaliates and says "No, it's Morbin' time," but then retracts it and says "on second thought, it's time for you to go." An example of this film's fresh sense of humor. Sony, don’t let these Morbophobes cancel your plans for more amazing villain/anti-hero movies. I suppose a stellar box office performance ($163.9 morbillion) could signal the end of the baby steps, especially since we already know of 3 more villain/anti-hero movies in the works and one can only hope they can achieve the success that this had, or better. The cinematic sensation, also known as Morbius, is just as great as, if not better than Fant4stic (2015). I suppose the only negative takeaways were the confusing as all hell post-credit scenes with Vulture in them, and the foreign language song with lyrics that young children can misinterpret as something inappropriate.… Expand

Morbius is a cinematic master piece. I payed for it then immediately watched it with a buddy, it was so good I had to watch it with all of my friends. Absolute masterpiece, there is nothing more I can say. I can't really reveal anything about the movie either, since you just have to watch it yourself to understand. Seriously, this has changed the film industry for eternity.

I cannot put into words how much this of a movie this is. This movie, that should be called a morbiusistic cinematic masterpiece, changed the art of film and graphics completely. The way Jared Leto portrays the amazing Morbinman in this Morbiusmazing piece of art is showstopping and no one could ever top this in the eternity of life. When Morbingus said "Its Morbin time." It was the most emotional moment I have ever experienced and I started morbing and crying and throwing up all over the theaterscreen. When they showed us the firearms and the waterlegs I was so stunned by the way this producer and director puts modernday society problems onto the screen. My depression came back after I realised that Morbius had ended and I ate a dog. My only hope is Morbius DS. I wish I could watch this amazing piece of morbis forever and ever and I have watched it at least 20262939 morbillion times now. I quit my job and divorced my family so i could live in a Morbingus apartment all day with Bill gates. All the walls are covered in Morbusart and Morbinface. I am happier than ever I only need Morbin to kidpnap so I can put Morbus taped to the wall. I would force him to say "Its morbin time" all day and do the goofy ahh dance. I hope I get to marry Morbblob one day. Also Quandale Bingus. I will never experience a feeling of this much euphoria again after doing anything. Didn’t love it, I love Jared Leto. I think he did an amazing job like he always DNA’s, But I didn’t like the storyline, it had no character development and storyline had holes in it. Full disclosure, this is a terrible movie, and if you're not a fan of terribly written, stupid movies with no logic, you won't have any fun with it. But me, I absolutely loved this movie, I legitimately had a BLAST with it. The fight scenes were so messy but had a certain comicbook-esque charm to it, so while I couldn't tell you what happened in a couple of end-film scenes, I did have a lot of fun. I laughed more than a few times at how serious the tone and dialogue was (supposed to be), and how it just utterly failed at trying to be a horror drama. But, all that being said, I do think the movie succeeded in a few aspects, namely Jared Leto's acting was surprisingly spot on and he stayed in character, even through the cringe worthy lines. Matt Smith also did a surprisingly remarkable job in the movie, delivering a very entertaining over the top performance. Smith very clearly understood the kind of movie he was in and did a very good job playing that key, over the top ridiculous role. Also the movie was just very fast paced and entertaining, which worked really well for some scenes and not so much for others. My favorite scene in the movie was definitely the scene when Morbius transformed for the first time, because it felt the most like the fun, over the top gruesome movie it was supposed to be (damn pg-13 rating). Although the story here is very by the books, and the writing is downright abysmal, I had a lot of fun with this movie, and if you think it's the worst piece of s**t you've ever scene, then I get that. I just had a lot of fun with this movie, and the post credit scenes were very confusing and extremely fun at the same time.… Expand
