To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Morbius. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Michael Morbius' nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Morbius ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Charles Morbius' existential catchphrase "It's morbin' time," which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Daniel Espinosa's genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens. Not sure what type of weed the critics are smoking because this is One of the best Marvel Comics movies I ever seen and one of the best Super Hero origin movies ever too. Bemoaning a movie because it isn’t 3 hours long and tells the story it needs to at pace seems a weird critique. I was super excited for this movie and it more than delivered on the hype! It's everything I wanted in a live action Morbius origin story. This movie is a really great follow up to No Way Home too! I don't understand the hate it's getting. Don't listen to the haters and go see it! It is 1 hour and 50 minutes of great movie with some of the coolest after credit scenes that I have seen in a Marvel Movie in a long a while.
The special effects and action sequences were intense! The characters are memorable and interesting. The entire cast and everyone involved did a phenomenal job at bringing one of my favorite and most beloved comic book characters and his story to life on the big screen. I'm really excited to see what's in store next for Doctor Michael Morbius. I hope that Sony listens to the fans when we say we want more Morbius because Sony you are really on a role now. I can't wait for the Kraven the Hunter Film as well.… Expand

That's how good this movie is. If you ever laughed out loud in your movie theater seat during the 15 year old M&Ms commercial when the yellow M&M says, "No, this is an envelope." then get ready to laugh non stop during this film. There were so many times throughout the movie I stood up and clapped, which everyone in the theater loved. If this film was a truck, it would win Motor Trends Truck of the Year until the end of time. After this movie, Jared Leto should be cast for every super hero role until the end of time. Heck, recast Iron Man with Jared Leto. Every role Jared Leto does is immaculate. Seriously, GO AND SEE THIS MOVIE! If you have a child being born skip it. Morbius is proof that Sony DEFINITELY knows how to make a super hero film and should just buy Disney because they do it better. Who needs an Infinity Saga when we could have a Morbius saga or a Morbius Cinematic Universe!? THAT'S the world I want to live in. Since I began writing this review I've started crying because how great this movie is and just thinking about it... it makes me miss my pet bat Morbius... I was 8 and I always wanted a pet bat so I got a pet bat and a cage and well one day my stupid older brother opened the cage and the front door of the house was open and poor little Morbius bat flew outside straight in front of a Semi going 70mph... I miss you Morbius. Every day.

When Dr. Michael Morbius said "it's morbin time" in the theater I burst into a frenzy of pure joybius as my favorite comic book character had finally been properly adapted into a movie.My good friend Jared Leto starred as Dr. Michael Morbius in the movie and when I received this news I became ecstatic as that was the role he was born to play! In the second post credit scene of Morbius, Dr. Michael Morbius was transported to the future where he see's the Morbius franchise has expanded beyond anybody's wildest dreams. The movies villian, Reverse Morbius pushed our hero (Dr. Michael Morbius) to his furthest point as he was forced to kill his long time friend. When I saw this scene in the theater I began to sob uncontrollably since I knew that Dr. Michael Morbius had just broken his hard moral code of never killing during the movie, luckily for me the movie ended 30 seconds after Reverse Morbius died. The first post credit scene was a short scene from Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, in this scene we see that Dr. Michael Morbius is part of the illuminati, alongside Dr. Michael Morbius is Walter Hartwell White, Red Crewmate, Jesse Pinkman, and Darth Vader. Morbius was such a compelling movie that made me feel more than a Morbillion emotions all at once during the entire runtime of the feature length film. The movie was such a critical success that it sold 7 Morbillion tickets in 3 days, which gives it two world records, highest grossing movie of all time, and best movie of all time. Morbius is the movie of all time, it had a script, there were actors, a director, no CGI, it was edited, and the main character is called Dr. Michael Morbius. I have purchased 500 Morbillion copies of the film digitally and physically, I also saw the film in theaters 800 Morthousand times. Another excellent scene in Morbius was the scene where Dr. Michael Morbius has recently taken the Morbius serum and entered a new laboratory saying "I am Venom". Morbius is the peak of all entertainment and the human race is blessed to have had Dr. Michael Morbius grace our theater screens in our lifetime. Jared Leto personally told me at the premiere of Morbius that this was one of the roles in his acting career, he also said that I would be able to have a small role in the 2060 film, Morbinity War, and its sequel Morbgame. This movie changed my life, before I was sad because there was no movie on earth that could satisfy my emotions, until Morbius came out in 2022 and when it did, I became filled with joybius and morbsomeness. In conclusion, Morbius is the movie and I enjoybiused it very much.… Expand

Truly a masterpiece, I would say it's even better than the legendary Emoji Movie and to an extent, the Emoji Movie Cinematic Universe (#EMCU). I really can't wait for the Morbius NFT collection to drop and Morbius: The Game to release. Ever since I watched this movie, all I eat and drink now is Morbius Movie Popcorn and Michael Morbin' Soda. Before, I was a depressed person who had just broken up and ended unemployed, and now, I have a loving wife, a high paying job (10 million USD per year) and 2 children, with one more on it's way. Share the movie with everybody, you have to, it’s your duty as a human. Finally if you think about it, spending every 1 hour and 48 minutes you have left in your life watching Morbius is just a fulfilled life man.

Morbius exceeds in all categories imaginable- the screenwriting, CGI, acting, and cinematography are all top-notch. Dr. Michael Morbius was the perfect role for Jared Leto, who with his outstanding acting brings the MARVEL legend to life.

Bested movie I’ve ever sawded! Danny Enchilada did so well directing da flim. Jared Let Go was so kool, would sacrifice my life to be in a moovie wit he. It’s Morbin’ time hell yeah!

I have to go with the audience on this one, especially because it contained yet another interesting performance by Jared Leto (I refer to his earlier performance in House of Gucci, which is quite a different kind of film). I don't deny that this was a strange movie, but it's a strange time, and appropriately it's about a strange disease, although equating Covid and vampirism is a stretch. Yes, this film had much of the Marvel fire and fury, but it is also oddly human, as the best Marvel movies are (for example, Dr. Strange). Although I am not exactly a Marvel movie fan, this one made for a very lively and enjoyable afternoon of escape.… Expand

A great superhero action vampire movie. My family loved it and were talking about it for days afterwards. I thought it was good. Wife and kid thought it was great. Good fun for the whole family.
