Good pacing - not afraid to slow down for moments, but as the film progressed, action scenes increased in frequency. Considering it was the fourth movie featuring dinosaurs, it still maintained the wonder of these great creatures. It was a monster movie in the sense that many people got chomped or stepped on or knocked into trees. Nice touch of growing romance btwn main characters. The brothers seemed like realistic teens. There were a few dislikable characters to root against. And yes there were several visual references to the first 3 movies. Enjoyed it more than I thought I would. One man's opinion. Expand

This is one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Script, directing, acting - all bad. The CGI dinosaurs were better actors. I had no interest in the movie after about 20 mins and could have easily walked out. LAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There may be a lot of references to the first movie, yeah, but it's one of the best titles of the Jurassic Park series. It didn't instill the fear in us as much as the first one did, but I honestly don't think it was going for that. I don't really have much to say about it. Though, I must mention before I go any further, there were a few plot points that seemed important that weren't touched upon later in the film that were in the beginning, and it did have quite a bit of movie cliches, but I can forgive it. The plot was interesting, the characters were pretty likable, and, among all of the movies I've seen that have come out this year, this one probably takes the cake as the best one, and the second best Jurassic Park movie. And, mind you, this is coming from someone who has seen the entire series. Overall, it's one of those movies where you loved it, but you don't really understand why. Also, when they made references, I was either like, "OMH I REMEMBER THIS YAY", or "MEMORIES YAAAY". So yeah. Watch it. If you're a fan of the series, you'll like it a lot. Expand

"Jurassic World is the ultimate Hollywood popcorn movie, it's loud it's dumb and stupid but a lot of fun."

If someone mention the name of movie they have a bond with i think one in hundred will probably say Jurassic Park and sure i mean who can denied the magic that movie has , so there's go Jurassic World another sequel trying capture that elements of magic again.

The problem is it just failed pretty hard in almost every single element , one thing that they really doing fantastic is the CGI and production design it's amazing , it's stunning.

But that's it everything else of Jurassic World is just falling apart in to pieces from boring cliche and stupid character that sometimes can be annoying to really force the "Family Bond" theme in to your mouth and that screenplay oh god... i mean it's like they borrow script from movie Dinocroc or something it's just really terrible , i mean it's okay in that B grade low-production value movie BUT not in the $150 million dollars budget movie and definitely not in "Jurassic" movies.

Off course Jurassic World can be fun and for sure you will probably have a good time with it but because of it's "Monsters Fight" scene not because it's magic elements that Jurassic Park has , this is for sure a fun popcorn movie to watch but not the 'Jurassic' movie we hope it could be not even with Chris Pratt .

I took my wife to see this film opening weekend, and I was not at all disappointed.

Pros:
-Gave just enough backstory on the human characters to make them seem human without lingering.
-Strong special effects and cinematography with nice set pieces.
-Callbacks to the original film, done in good taste.
-Different from the other three movies, in that it now features a fully functional park.
-Did a good job selling certain story elements that could have been hard to swallow.
-Allowed me to suspend my disbelief.
-Nice social and economic commentary, that actually fit within the film.
-A nice combination of action, adventure, horror, and comedy.
-I enjoyed all of the characters, aside from the one mentioned below.
-Product placement was prominent, but it actually fit given the context of the film.

Cons:
-Plot is pretty silly...but it's a Summer blockbuster. Think about how dumb the plot of "The Rock" really was for a minute, or even the original "Jurassic Park" which had some major plot holes. This is not some human interest drama, and it shouldn't be regarded as such. Still, the story is not strong.
-Vincent D'Onofrio's character was poorly performed and came off cartoonish and a little too over-the-top. His already silly ideas are made less believable by the performance.

All-in-all, it delivered exactly what I wanted it to. There is no way to capture the "magic" of the original. There's no going back in time. We've experienced that already. What this film does is stand on its own. I would rank this as the second best of the series, behind only the first.

With a messy story that doesn't quite work (a last-minute re-write of some major plot points, was my first guess), an unimaginative screenplay and lazy directing, this movie is about as good as... well, it's about as good as Birdemic, but with nicer graphics. It's hilarious.

...It's not meant to be hilarious, but my word, I haven't enjoyed a movie this much since Plan 9 from Outer Space. The bulk of the movie is, obviously, visually impressive. It's lovely to look at... but then, so are most big budget movies lately, so that's hardly a passing mark on its own. The story and screenplay are a slapped together series of brain farts that make you wonder what the selection process for professional movie writers must be; a dartboard, perhaps? A lottery system? I don't really mean to be harsh, but let's be honest: the writing is TERRIBLE. It's the only movie I've ever explicitly watched the credits for in order to see who was responsible for the screenplay.

No single element of the writing is stand-out 'look at this' bad. Rather, it's as if it was written by a teenager with some raw talent, but no self-awareness or experience. Mistakes and blunders come one after the other, making an overall effect that any B movie lover can appreciate: it's a stupidly wonderful mish-mash of cliches, lazy directing and stupid, badly thought-out ideas that must've seemed great in the early brainstorming and storyboarding stages, but which the staff were woefully incapable of ever executing in any competent manner. Aborted character arcs abound, illogical setpieces and bizzare events make it impossible to take the story seriously or feel invested in any of the characters.

The most glaring story component is that last-minute re-write that I suspect (perhaps a re-write is common knowledge to people who followed the movie's production; I'm not one of them), which obviously left a lot of lose ends in the story: 'serious business' character development arcs are raised by multiple characters, obviously intended to be parts of a larger story, however due to what must've been a re-shuffle of characters, the arcs are broken and don't fit in to the final story whatsoever, and in fact make some characters appear unstable and illogical, as they are now having 'serious business' moments about a matter that's never actually addressed in the movie, or which no longer fits with the revised script. Seeing the children's mother have a breakdown because her sister wasn't spending time with the boys was amazing. Because -again- it made no sense. Clearly, the story was intended to be a broken family bonding over the dramatic events of the movie, but instead, we have... well. A mess with no real conclusion. The boys consternation over their parents looming divorce? Well, never mind that, Dinosaur attack! Park manager worrying about low attendance numbers and declining profits? Those tens of thousands of people crowding every square metre of the shiny and new-looking park don't matter, because dinosaurs! Whoo! Look, Guest appearance by Jimmy Fallon doing... slapstick? Uh... Dinosaurs, whoo! Millitary shenanigans and corruption, but let's not even try to finish that arc, instead let's have rolling balls of CGI magic! Whoo!

It's just a series of silly, pretty looking events that happened on an island with suicidal attack-dinosaurs, mustache-twirling military contractors, theme parks with no emergency procedures, annoying kids with no purpose in the story, and Chris Pratt trying to make the most of his boring, cliche macho-guy lines.

A solid B movie experience.

A film that is not bad but not great either. Characters are fun but not relatable, you never feel emotion towards them, they just seem to be catalysts that keep the story moving forward, the acting was good but the writing let them down. CGIA film that is not bad but not great either. Characters are fun but not relatable, you never feel emotion towards them, they just seem to be catalysts that keep the story moving forward, the acting was good but the writing let them down. CGI was a mixed bag, sometimes spectacular but sometimes clearly computer generated. The action is great and hardly ever stops, but due to the lack of character development and predictable moments you never truly feel fear. Dinosaurs in this film also seem more like monsters, unlike the first film where they are treated like 'wild animals'. Overall its okay, not the fantastic blockbuster we expected but still worth a watch, just don't expect it to be the prime film of the series. Expand

It force feeds you the nostalgia from the first film in hopes that the goosebumps you get from hearing John William's will make you forget that this film has some of the worst acting, story and lacks even an iota of authenticity. I've never walked out of a film hating the people responsible for making it. It's a movie made by people who have no love of movies for the audience responsible for there being a Paul Blart Mall Cop 2 and Transformers 4. It takes place 22 years after the original, when a dinosaur theme park has flourished on the island. Two young brothers travel there to visit their aunt (Bryce Dallas Howard), just when a newly-engineered species runs rampant. Enter Chris Pratt to help save the day. Nothing about the plot or situations is even slightly original or inventive. The people in peril seldom generate any tension or empathy, because they're quickly dispatched and anonymous. Even the core cast is ultimately relegated to watching, as the creatures duke it out (the 21st century version of wrestling lizards). There is Hollywood spectacle with lots of action, but it lives in a world lacking any sense of wonder or little genuine thrills. Expand

Filled with WOW moments and callbacks to the 1993 Spielberg directed film (Dr. Wu is back, the night vision goggles, the same jeeps), as to say "move over JJ Abrams there is a new Spielbergian in town and he ain't Gareth Edwards !". This should be the sequel we've been waiting for right ? well that just depends on YOUR expectations. For me though personally the B-Movie story and the pseudo science behind the new (not really a) dinosaur is terribly ludicrous making Jurassic World another casualty to the phrase "Leave your brain at the door". But that doesn't mean it's not "fun" at least in some parts, Chris Pratt plays Raptor wrangler Owen Grady who (along with his raptors) acted as the glue that held this monster of a movie together since the other characters (with the exception of Masrani and Dr. Wu) were badly written. Even Bryce Dallas Howard couldn't make her part believable because her character was the typical "i'm a stuck up business person that tries to suppress my human emotions" then toward the end becomes "i'm no longer stuck up because my emotions were brought out by the plot happening and now i'm in love with Owen even though there was almost no buildup to the relationship". I will reluctantly give a pass to the child actors in this movie even if their reactions to some situations were questionable and the out of nowhere "our parents are getting divorced" conversation that didn't go anywhere was random like most of their dialogue. But we can't pay attention to that because obviously the 4 writers of this movie didn't because the kids were created so that the audience could go with them and see the attractions of Jurassic World and that's a somewhat justification. The not too shabby 3D and the D-box seat I was in made the film more enjoyable amplifying the experience of it's strengths, the sound and the effects. Overall, It wasn't as great as the hype machine made it out but it's not as dreadful as the last 2 sequels making this movie a brass knuckled gut-puncher with the inscribed words "It's Alright" embedded into your stomach like so many summer blockbusters before it. Just this time instead of trying to engineer dinosaurs for science, it's for a tourist attraction. The acting and comedy were okay, but not great. Chris Pratt playsJurassic World offers plenty of spectacle and action, but little in the way of compelling characters or engaging plot. Hollow characters and absurd story logic—even for a summer blockbuster—cripple a visually dazzling film. Chris Pratt plays an military vet that works training velociraptors, but no explanation is given about why he's qualified to train dinosaurs or why his expression seems to be frozen throughout the film. Bryce Dallas Howard plays the park's executive—the only notable female character in the film—and falls victim to half-joking gender clichés in most scenes.

When things invariably go wrong, the situation is propelled by actions that can only be described as unbelievably stupid. Disbelief can be suspended about the creation of a theme park with live dinosaurs. But the story loses all cohesion when that park seems to be completely unprepared for a dinosaur running amok, a potential emergency that's blindingly obvious to everyone except the film's key characters.

Save yourself $10 and watch the original again.

The plot is very poor. Dialogue is awful. The dinosaur reveal was so poor. The kids in this movie are useless. There has been no logic to the plot of this movie. How does Bryce Dallas Howard run through the whole park drive every car possible and still have her high heel shoes on?? how?. The new dinosaur is just not scary. The director of this movie has no clue how to do suspense. He has done such a poor job. The only good thing in this movie is Chris Pratt who is a badass. Expand

The dialogue was beyond cheesy, and only a few of the lines that were supposed to be funny were actually funny. There was product placement every 5 seconds, and much of the time it was very out-of-place, in-your-face and distracting from what was going on in the movie. There were lots of subplots that were started but then completely left hanging. The plot as a whole was just a jumbled mess of crap. Every character was very one-dimensional and poorly developed. I wouldn't say it was just the first story told again, but the things added were so poorly done it was appalling. I could tell pretty early on that it was going to be bad, but after about 45 minutes I wanted to leave the theater pretty badly.

I wasn't expecting a third sequel of JP to be that good, but this movie went leaps and bounds below what I would have expected.

I went into this withI don't know how many of these shining reviews are paid shills or just morons but let me give you an honest review of this movie based on my own perspective as a picky viewer that won't waste time or money on garbage. I went into this with extremely low expectations and I won't claim its unwatchable or the worst thing ever but this movie is seriously in the running for the worst JP movie and that says alot, considering how badly the 2nd and 3rd movies were picked apart I fully expect this one to be torn apart piece by piece by more thorough reviewers in the months to come. I know many reviews have already said this but the acting, the plot and the character development are all awful. there is no other way to put it, all the characters are walking stereotypes and there is nothing in the way of a Grant/Malcolm to try to salvage this with their banter, it's just good guys/bad guys and a bunch of rehashing of previous ideas with even less to hold it all together. The best way I can describe this movie is that it's not a story but it's spectacle on par with a circus act. A huge chunk of the movie is just showing off the park with its cgi crap and then a SUPER dino gets loose and causes chaos, that's basically the entire movie. I found myself rolling my eyes several times at both the 'story' going on here and the literally cringeworthy product placement. I kid you not there's a scene where the 2 brothers have just witnessed a dino exhibit and one of them says "wanna see something really cool?" and the scene immediately cuts to a close up shot of a mercedes benz(this close up panning outward shot of the mercedes logo happens at least 2-3 more times throughout the movie) and this is not the only example going on here. What's incredibly ironic is that the movie actually takes a shot at product placement in the first 30 minutes, using one of the minor secondary characters to mock the idea of corporations naming dinos and sponsoring the park exhibits. But even beyond the nitpicking, the real problem with this movie is the total lack of character development and the poor directing/acting which leads to a total lack of suspense in a movie that in theory is suppose to be suspenseful and frightening. By the time the last 20 minutes were rolling around I was thinking "this is almost over and absolutely nothing of substance has happened" right before you get blitzed by a big stupid dino brawl and an unsatisfying ending that is basically a copy of the previous endings but 'BIGGER'. Unless you're just looking for some Michael Bayesque mindless tripe to spend 2 hours on I highly suggest saving your money and go find something better to do. This is just another cash grab using an established franchise and doesn't deserve the money it already has and will continue to rake in. Expand

The box office numbers make me want to cry. It means we'll see even more rotten movies like this one and less really good action movie like Mad Max.

There were many things I never expected to happen. My favorite scene was INDOMINUS REX’s ending. I really loved the VELOCIRAPTOR, TYRANNOSAURUS and MOSASAURUS. My favorite dinosaurs was VELOCIRAPTOR. Now I also like MOSASAURUS. Maybe my favorite. If there is going to be a sequel. I want to see most scenes set on under the water.

Interesting thing is B. D. Wong acted as a scientist in Jurassic Park and he did as well in Jurassic World.

Thankfully this movie has them in spades. The music in particular is a real treat that will bring back some fond memories. That's not to say though that your enjoyment of this film will hinge upon how much nostalgia you have for the original. This is a sequel that manages to do it's own unique thing for the series while simultaneously reminding us why we fell in love with the 1993 hit.

The spectacle has been raised in order to keep up with the times. Moments are meant to keep your jaw on the floor and it mostly succeeds. We get some great kills and a heck of a lot of fun. The biggest and probably most successful new inclusion to the series formula is the addition of more humor. There are quite a few funny moments scattered throughout that are admittedly cheesy, but will still bring laughs. Some people will criticize the inclusion of these moments as just as a way to make the movie more enjoyable to a wider audience. As far as I'm concerned it's just more fun added to the mix. Some people just can't have fun at the movies anymore.

One thing that isn't quite up to snuff are our two lead adult characters and their romance. Pratt and Howard are cast as generic character types. She's the working stiff and he's the guy who everyone should have listened to because he told them how it was all going to go wrong. It's stereotypical and we've seen it all before, only it was more fleshed out then. But hey we do get some humorous jokes as a result and certain viewers are going to eat up the kiss scene. While they don't quite hold up as fleshed out characters you still can't help but root for them when the dino crap hits the fan. The other characters feel more fleshed out and are more enjoyable as a result.

Now enough about the people. Let's talk about the dinosaurs. Well it's safe to say that any dino fanatic is going to be in heaven. There are plenty of different dinosaurs and they all look great, even if they don't look as real as the ones in the 1993 original. A movie with visuals that still hold up today. "World" even gives people a hybrid dinosaur (central part of the plot) to obsess over. Even better is that it takes these great looking dinosaurs and puts them in scenes with huge spectacle and excitement. Watching a human and dino come face to face is just as tense and enjoyable as ever.

"Jurassic World" is a heck of a lot of fun. A worthy new sequel for the series. One that invigorates it with new ideas and opens it up for more just when it looked like it was extinct. In my opinion it is the best of the sequels and sits just under the first Jurassic Park as the best dinosaur movie out there. I had a blast watching this and I can't wait to do it again.

Clichés v. Dinosaurs

The first half of this movie is insulting to those viewers with even the lowest intelligence. Cliché characters - the clueless capitalist, the over-driven working gal, sinister guy from the military–industrial complex and smartest guy to whom no one listens - are running an amusement park with dinosaurs.

Throw in the "working gal's" nephews (because god knows she works too hard to have her own kids) and you got the first hour of the film. These folks are such cardboard cutouts, so recognizable to general audiences, they could have skipped all the set up and just started the film an hour into the story.

The bits that come after the hour mark are fun and exactly what we all go to summer blockbusters to see. The last half of the film succeeds wildly but isn't worth the price of admission. Just wait and download it or get it on DVD.

Start it at the 1 hour or 1:05 mark for a nice bit of mindless entertainment.

Jurassic World was everything John Hammond wanted this place to be, but since the dinosaurs were lose in Jurassic Park (1993) and the park was at risk it was obvious that it was not to be released in the public’s eye. Jurassic world is fully operational and the lab created a hybrid dinosaur that will attract more visitors once this thing gets out it will eat people, (okay this film does copy the first one). Jurassic World is astonishing; I was waiting for the moments in the trailer to be showed in the film and once they were showed it was awesome, it was better than the third one, this film is two hours filled with dinosaurs chasing people and eating them, people running for their lives it’s groundbreaking but it’s not even close as being good as the first one. So Bryce Dallas Howard plays Claire, she is an executive at Jurassic World she tries too hard to make Jurassic World perfect all she cares about is what the public wants. After “Guardians of the galaxy” Chris Pratt shows that he can act and he is good in this movie; so he plays Owen, a former navy man who is a Velociraptor whisper (think of him as the trainer or something), so Claire wants him to take a look at this hybrid dinosaur but he tells Claire and the lab that is a bad idea (yep this film is filled with idiots!). So Claire’s nephews Mr. Lady’s man (Nick Robinson) and his perky little brother (Ty Simpkins) come to have fun at Jurassic World, they ran away from Claire’s British assistant and have fun together at the wrong moment then the hybrid dinosaur is on the lose trying to kill for sport (what is with the script it copies off the first one). We can tell co-writer/director Colin Trevorrow loves Spielberg’s Jurassic Park franchise, the way he is behind the camera. And he tries to bring to the “Jaws” formula and collages them together I am not sure if it’s a good idea. Trevorrow and his team create new special effects that are good but it’s not fresh like Winston’s team did back in 1993. Pratt as the hero was awesome the way he brings the charisma to the project he’s like Dr. Grant’s intelligence mixed in with Ian Malcom’s humor. Bryce Dallas Howard was a great heroine in this film she is like Ellie’s charisma mixed in with John Hammond. The problem with the film is the script it has too much backstory and it tries to copy off the first one back in 1993, it does not have intense anxiety like the first one. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I was so pumped to see this movie, got to see it before anyone else by purchasing tickets near a theater i live by a month ago, got to see it 5 hours early!

anyways, this movie almost had me walking out in the first 30 minutes. The acting was terrible from the girl in the control room *run it's in there with you!!!* like wtf? I seen better acting out of B-Movies then this 150 million dollar budget movie.

1.the story made no sense... militarizing raptors? hey wouldn't making robots be better suited? i mean you guys can prolly understand the common sense I mean with that comparison....

2.The raptors evidently are trained blood hounds after chasing a pig....

3. I-rex makes the raptors turn on the humans.... then 5 minutes later they are like FU** you I-rex HE TOOK MY COLLAR OFF! give me a break....

4. I-rex knows and understands thermal imaging and knows exactly when to set up a perfect trap....

5. the first raptor to die by the rocket.... first off why was their a guy on a hill, a quarter of a mile away with a freaking rocket ready to shoot a raptor.....

6. the raptor that turns on the I-rex and wins the day, didn't he get his freaking spine broken?????? and that slow motion scene of him coming out of the corner... seriously...

7. i'm surprised the raptor and t-rex didn't fist bump after I-rex Died

god i can just keep on writing and writing this movie was TERRIBLE

The original Jurassic Park changed the way movie were made, technologically speaking. Some would say that change was for the worse. I am actually a big fan of action/sci-fi films so I appreciate the original film's marriage of live action and cgi. I was hoping for this new movie to be great. It just is not that good. The dinosaurs look great and their integration with the actors and their surroundings is impressive. What lets this movie down is the story and the characters. The story is ludicrous, not that getting live dinosaurs out of fossils is believable. But the notion that these people never learn just keeps coming up. With all the amazing technology that exists in this movie world, the stupid mistakes and misjudgments that the decision makers in the story continually make are just mind numbing. It's actually pretty insulting. The writing is so bad that I couldn't help but inappropriately laugh a number of times. It is pretty clear this is an attempt at rebooting this franchise, which I'm sure will work, as people are just not that discriminating. But it is a shame that this script could not have been better. "Oh crap, a dinosaur is hunting me" feel. The whole point of enjoying multiple movies in a series, is enjoying that similar feel. I'm not saying that I want it to be exactly the same... but what made Jurassic Park movies so great was the, "Oh crap, a dinosaur is hunting me" feel. Because there was just chaos everywhere... and we kept getting thrown around the park without it building any suspense for certain situations. I really felt disappointed that I went and spent money on 3D movie tickets, popcorn and soda for me and family... Maybe that's because I download most movies and rarely go to the theater... and I expected my first theater visit in a while to really WOW me... but it didn't. I'm not saying it was horrible. I liked the twist, the effects, the action (even though i felt it was missing something in that department, just felt like wild chaos).... I still give it an 8. It WAS a good movie, just didn't live up to what I thought that it could have been. Expand

A good try, a sad fail. The Jurassic World doesn't deliver more than the average Transformers movie.
Almost as a satire on itself the movie themes the "problem" of society to have everything bigger and louder to be satisfied. And as the clients of the Jurassic Park the audience gets a good looking, loud and spectacular tense movie but with a shallow narrativ. It's all fassade. Don't get me wrong the cast is good but it just can't cover up the missing story besides "a new threat, nearly impossible to win, surprising outcome".

There is and was so much potential behind the idea of a reopened Jurassic Park (World). And so the first part of the movie I was excited about all the changes and rather didn't focus on the optical quality, which is ok. The Park has opened again! That would be enough to keep me - as a fan - entertained for some time. But in the second part of the movie the main theme changed from "scenery" to "warzone". It turns into all out war where there is no actual narrativ than survival (again) and resembles nowadays "Blockbuster" movies.

This movie starts out great but forgets its roots. You can interpret into the film whatever you want but it is not a film for fans. It is an action movie like every other this year in search of its identity between actual story and presentation (f.e. Avengers 2 or last years Transformers to name some). I don't think nowadays consumers prefer the "bigger equals better" ideology over narrativ and style. But the later would require some inspirations and innovations that the movie industry deeply needs. So they stick with the same idea and so do the themes of the movies they produce.

As a result Jurassic World is not a movie for fans. There is no memorable moment in the film, there is creativity missing and there is just too much wrong with the ending. The truth is even the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park (Original) looked way better - still today - than the CGI constructed monsters in Jurassic World. And it therefore this movie can't stick out in any way. It is just a bland mediocre action movie but it's missing something catchy.

"Hold on to your butts".

Jurassic World takes place 22 years after the original Jurassic Park failed the new park (also know as Jurassic World) is open for business. Jurassic World welcomes visitors from around the world to explore the wonders of seeing dinosaurs roam the Earth once again. Yet waning attendance has the Masrani Corporation focused on a new attraction - a genetically-modified dinosaur - a brand new species - but the plan backfires and threatens everyone on the island.

Jurassic World is a movie that nobody thought was going to happen, and that's because of the long development and the little bits of rumors about the project and that's the behind the scenes and some of the people who was working on the film dropped out due to many different reasons. Me and almost everyone give up on the film getting made, I mean it's been about 14 years (As I speak) since the third movie came out and the very last time we sawed Jurassic Park. Until one day, it happened, it finally happened. We finally got the movie we been waiting for and the first teaser trailer may have some people mixed about it, but almost everyone was excited for Jurassic World, and that's because the trailer caught that magic and wonder that Spielberg's Jurassic Park had.

Now after seeing the movie yesterday I got to say it's a way way better movie than Jurassic Park 3, but not as brilliant as Steven Spielberg Jurassic Park but I think I'm being a bit too harsh comparing the too because nothing can't top the first one and I wasn't really expecting this movie to do that, I'm just saying.

The director of the movie Colin Trevorrow has spoken out before saying how much he loved the first Jurassic Park movie and how that was he's childhood nostalgic. Now the only movie I've seen Colin Trevorrow directed is Safety Not Guaranteed which I sawed about couple days ago and I thought that movie was good but with many flawless which I will go into one day in my upcoming review for it, but anyway Colin Trevorrow as a director he's pretty good and in this movie he's directing was a bit off at times in a couple of scenes, but the rest of the time I thought he did good directing.

Chris Pratt was hands down the biggest stand out of the whole movie. Chris really won me over of being a down to earth action star with movies like Zero Dark Thirty and Guardians of the Galaxy. Every time he was on screen I was interested in his character because he was cool and was the only likable person in the movie. Chris Pratt did a awesome job in the movie and if they do make another Jurassic Park movie I really hope he's in it because he was the only enjoyable character in this movie.

The one thing I was a bit worried about before seeing the movie is the amount of CGI used in the movie, I mean just judging by the trailer they looked like a lot and yes these loads of CG in the movie, but for the most part it did look good at times and during the action scenes. But I will agree that these a little bit too much of it and some of it looks unfinished and didn't look like it's in the same environment with the actors.

The Indominus Rex in the movie was both menacing, scary and freaking cool and refreshing to see. The end battle which I won't give away was the highlight of the movie and it was a great way to end the movie.

I also love how the movie tells everyone to forget Jurassic Park 3, it's like a sorry letter to the fans and admitting that the third one sucked, even through this movie isn't flawless as well.

Now for the problems: Now I talked about Chris Pratt character being the whole good thing in the movie...well that's saying a lot if you compare he's character to the rest, because every character in this movie are dull and flat or just idiotic. I think the movie mostly focus on is action scenes and the dinosaurs being cool, but not really focusing on the character and let's not forget that what made the original Jurassic Park movie so special is the character's and how likable they are. Bryce Dallas Howard character was one unlikable character and the movie tries to make you like her towards the end, but I still didn't like her.

The writing in this movie is really flat and pretty awful at times. Now I have seen many movies that I can picture in my head of the writers just given up and put whatever down to make them feel that it good enough, but this is very close to being that. These many plot holes in the movie and scenes that didn't really make any sense at all, like how people are getting pretty bored of the dinosaurs thing, I mean WHAT!, how on earth can you be bored of seeing dinosaur's it's like the best thing to happen in a long time, now I now the movie does explain why but I don't buy into that at all. Oh and there's another sub plot in the movie with this government people wanting to take the velociraptor in war zone for a military weapon and that right there is so freaking stupid and so idiotic to do, because velociraptor can't just kill bad people they can turn on you because it's in they nature to kill and to them your just meat to eat.

The kid actors in the movie didn't do terrible job when it comes to acting, but they are scenes where they keep looking straight at the camera like most kid actors do, I know it's only for a split second but it took me of the movie a little bit and I couldn't take it seriously when they did that, and it happens more then once in the movie. The movie keeps cutting back to them and they not interesting at all and slowed down the movie for me.

The movie keeps re-creating or showing scenes that are just like the original Jurassic Park movie and after a while it got a bit annoying and pretty old really fast, I mean I would like if they just did a new movie with a new story, and not just keep going back to the original Jurassic Park and telling us how great Jurassic Park was.

Overall Jurassic World is a big improvement from Jurassic Park 3. It may seem like I'm nick picking here but that's just my honest thoughts of the movie. You may like it more then me and these nothing wrong with that, I thought the movie was good if I was judging it only as a Jurassic Park movie, but the movie dose have many flaws that could be improved on easily. Beside that I enjoyed the movie for what it was and I wouldn't mind seeing it again.

Predictably this is more of the same. A barely serviceable screenplay merely there in order to deliver outstanding visual effects. One tends to forgive a lot of the risible dialogue spouting from the mouth of a one dimensional Bryce Dallas Howard as soon as the exciting encounters with the hybrid Indominus Rex gets underway. In fact despite everything else that is wrong with this film there can be no question that the scenes involving the dinosaurs are on the money and trump anything the previous films achieved.
Chris Pratt, a good looking and charismatic lead, is not being used to best advantage in movies at the moment what with this and the abysmally over rated ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’. An unrecognizable Vincent D’Onofrio, carrying a few extra pounds, plays the obligatory bad guy without generating any spark of interest and Bryce Dallas Howard is just impossible. Her character is broadly played as if stupidity were an art form. She sets women’s roles back years, maybe even to the age of the dinosaur. It’s also amusing to ponder the continuity problems involving her shoes. High heels one moment. Flats the next!
Production values are impressive, especially the cinematography in the climatic night time scenes, and the sound is always effective in these loud big budget productions. The music is a bit derivative of other movies. The quieter scenes are reminiscent of John Williams work for ‘The Towering Inferno’ and at its noisiest the score is just that, a lot of bombastic noise. At 124 minutes the film more than outstays its welcome, but not before tantalising us with the promise of another, yes another, sequel. Unlike the dinosaurs, though, I really do relish the prospect of this franchise becoming extinct.

Not just for the thrill but for the love of dinosaurs in general. I went and saw Jurassic World the day of release. There's honestly not a negative thing I can say about this movie. Taking a movie that came out over a decade ago and revolutionizing it to fit a modern appeal was not an easy thing to do. Going from the original Park being a private opening, and going to a Park open to the public there is a lot of things that would have needed to be done to make it the way it should be. the only negative thing I can say about this movie is it should not have been released in 3D. It's kind of a cheesy way to present this movie. But that's my opinion only. If you are a big jurassic park fan and love all of the books and movies, then you should not be disappointed with this movie. I saw it on the 12th and am already wanting for it to come out on Blueray. Comparing this movie to the original is like comparing a 1920 car to a 2015 car, there's no reason for it, the originality of the first Jurassic Park is great, but this is a sequel not a "original movie". I would love to see this series booted back up into more movies or possibly even a TV show to see how Ingen rebuilds. Expand

Of course this film is not going to exceed the expectations of the first film! It just sucks to see that every review I read is bashing it on the characters or what they talk about, that is not what you see this movie for, you see it for it's thrills. This is a sad issue with a lot of movies these days, critics and some of the fanbase give the movie low scores because its not like the movie they remember. This is a sequel to a movie series we have not seen in 15 YEARS, cut the film some slack! Its a movie that exceeded my original assumptions and man i really dislike the critic reviews for a film that deserves way more credit. Expand

Some of the scenes were highly unnecessary. The character development in this one was below par, because I wanted to know more about them. Things would've been a lot better with Sam Neill as Dr. Alan Grant, but instead they went for the new route, which was okay......On the positive side, the movie looks great, but not the best looking movie of this year. It was nice to hear the original theme song,it really reminded me when I saw the first Jurassic Park for the first time with the opening sequence of the island. The action was good, and I guess the third act of this film was worth the admission. So is it better than Jurassic Park 3? Yes. Is it better than the first Jurassic Park? That's a BIG NO!! Despite some of the unnecessary scenes and dumb characters, the movie was fun....mindless fun to be exact. Expand

I am sure you have read in the reviews some of the stupid nonsensical things that happen within this movie, so I will just list a few other things I noticed that I havn't seen other people critisize yet.

1. After the boys are safe again... the aunt is like "I will never let you into harms way again! you will be safe!" or something like that...then she proceeds to put them in the back of a truck and drive them directly into harms way! She personally takes them into the most dangerous situation currently on the island with the military men to go battle the A-rex! She could have taken them or had someone take them somewhere much safer on the island, instead she risks their lives by bringing them along to battle the A-rex with a bunch of raptors. The only reason for this is so that the boys are around when **** continues to hit the fan....just such poor writing.

2. When the flying dinosaurs escape...why the hell would every single one of them go directly to the populated part of the park and start attacking people?! I am sure they were well fed...in reality they would scatter in all directions and definately would not dedicate their new freedom to hunting and killing humans for no apparant reason.

3. The A-rex talks with the raptors and tells them to attack the humans? Are you kidding me?! In about 5 seconds time this A-rex is able to communicate and convince these raptors that he is the alpha male?! Supposedly this works because the A-rex is like 1-10% raptor.....this is ridiculous. This is like saying that I can speak to apes or chimpanzees. Can the A-rex also talk to cuddlefish, snakes, and the other animals it was mad of? This is so damn stupid...why doesnt the A-rex talk to the T-rex at the end? It is obviously more part Trex than it is raptor. Another stupid line in regards to this...PRatt says "now we know why they didnt tell us what this thing is made of....because its part RAPTOR!", yea its so secret not because its made of trex, snake, and tons of other dinosaurs....just because its part raptor.

4. Militarizing raptors? jesus christ. There is seriously a line like "Imagine if we had these things in Tora Bora!". I dont really need to go into depth on this one....you can already tell how stupid it is.

5. At the end the gigantic aquatic dinosaur jumps out of its enclosure and eat the A-rex! It lands on the ground where during normal hours guests would be walking! The designers of the park didnt realize this?! The one time this aquatic behemoth breaks out of it confined space it just happens to eat the Arex instead of a person?

These are just a few of the things that popped into my head. There are tons and tons of similarly retarded instances within this film. So many plot holes and nonsensical story moments....it is just so stupid! I mean I thought the part in Lost World where the T-rex was able to eat everyone on a cargo ship was bad....but this is actually worse and there are way more silly and dumb moments. I really had higher hopes for this movie, especially after seeing the initial reviews. It isnt horrible, there are some good parts. But all the plot holes, cliches, and just stupid moments really took me out of the experience...I spent more time laughing at the nonsense in this movie than the actual few jokes.

Jurassic Park is considered by many to be a true classic of the action genre but this latest movie in the long running franchise never comes close to recapturing that magic.

Making the original look like a documentary by comparison Jurassic World is full of nonsensical science, dinosaurs behaving completely unrealistically and characters making stupid decisions. Fortunately however the movie is saved by the action set-pieces which are entertainingly over the top and ensure that most will at least somewhat enjoy what they see.

Jurassic World is a typical big, dumb summer blockbuster.

It has been 22 years since Jurassic Park ushered in the modern age of computer generated imagery, becoming the first motion picture to use the then-cutting edge special effects technology to astound and amaze us. Director Steven SpielbergIt has been 22 years since Jurassic Park ushered in the modern age of computer generated imagery, becoming the first motion picture to use the then-cutting edge special effects technology to astound and amaze us. Director Steven Spielberg allowed us to believe that dinosaurs were real. Repetition made the second Jurassic Park installment, 1997's The Lost World, a step down and Universal's decision to cut the budget for the third movie, 2001's Jurassic Park III, seemingly put an end to the saga. However, after a 14-year gap, the T-Rexes, velociraptors, and their ilk are back. With Spielberg executive producing and Colin Trevorrow behind the lens, it's time to again return to a universe where amber-encased prehistoric mosquitoes have made it possible for extinct creatures to roam.

Jurassic World features only one returning character from the original trilogy - BD Wong as Dr. Henry Wu - but that's not a drawback. All the necessary types are in place: Chris Pratt's Owen and Bryce Dallas Howard's Claire fill the heroic roles, Ty Simpkins' Gray and Nick Robinson's Zach are the annoying kids, Irrfan Khan is John Hammond's successor, and Vincent D'Onofrio is the unappealing military-type with his own agenda. Really, though, the Jurassic Park movies have never been about the human beings, be they Sam Neill's Alan Grant or Jeff Goldblum's Ian Malcom. They have been about the dinosaurs. Jurassic World features plenty of call-backs to Jurassic Park (including, I assume, the same T-Rex) but there are no cameos for Neill or Goldblum.

This is the best of the Jurassic Park sequels and does a better job than episodes #2 and #3 in recreating the "feel" of the original. It starts by giving us some time to immerse ourselves in the atmosphere of a fully working dinosaur amusement park - bigger than anything Hammond envisioned. Clearly, no expense has been spared. The tragedies of the original Jurassic Park are long past, buried and forgotten with the skeleton of the visitor center. The new version has been open for a decade - long enough that there are concerns about attendance waning. Dinosaurs are no longer enough. Customers want something bigger and meaner.

Despite having a slim resume (the quirky indie Safety Not Guaranteed), Trevorrow handles Jurassic World like a pro. He hits all the right notes, giving the two-dimensional characters as much heft as they deserve (which isn't much) and handling the action sequences like a seasoned veteran of Hollywood tent pole features. He references countless other monster movies, including obvious ones like King Kong and Godzilla and less evident choices like The Birds and (especially) Aliens. His style is part Spielberg/part Cameron.

Composer Michael Giacchino recognizes the importance of embracing John Williams' iconic themes rather than jettisoning them (as was done in Man of Steel). Guacchino gives us not only full orchestral renditions of the most noteworthy music but more subdued interpretations when those are appropriate. The dino-effects, both CGI and animatronic, are superior to those in the earlier Jurassic Park movies but that's not surprising considering how much things have advanced over the years. The 3-D is an utter and complete waste and is best avoided. It exists only because of the Hollywood mindset that all summer blockbusters must be released in 3-D to be considered legitimate.

Jurassic World leaves open the door for future installments but, while this is an enjoyable popcorn experience, it works best as a stand-alone follow-up. Trevorrow and his co-screenwriters deserve credit for milking two more worthwhile hours out of the Jurassic Park idea but there's nowhere else for the concept to go. It's played out. Another sequel would be folly. That's a future consideration, however (likely to be determined exclusively by $$). For now, there's only Jurassic World, which has taken the fossilized remains of a beloved franchise and given it a new life than many doubtlessly thought impossible.

Okay while watching it, quite stupid when thinking about it and talking about the movies missteps with friends afterwards. It's basically Universal Studios doing a re-boot trilogy thingy with a nostalgic Millennials movie franchise. In 1993 I took my younger sister to see JP when she was 8 years old. So she is the target audience for this fourth "Dinos In Park Run Wild" effort. Even though 22 years later we both still know that the original is still the best, and that all of the sequels (including this one) are pretty meh.

It's got product placement up the yin-yang from every nook and cranny. I laughed several times at the "unintentional comedy" via bits of dialogue and paper thin performances that were very, VERY dumb. You can tell this movie was "Pre-vized & action set pieced" worked months before a page of script was written. You can also tell the age range of commenters with what they perceive as "deep or interesting" character wise simply from the limited knowledge within their posts. A whole generation raised on Bayformer eye candy crap with weak script writing...and it shows.

And while JWorld was an enjoyable B level monster movie and THAT's ALL, nothing more - just like Jeremy Jahns, Chris Stuckmann, and Rotten Tomatoes all rated it - it has several moments of Micheal Bay level stupidity in the script that folks are giving a pass on because of the JP brand and nostalgia of Spielberg's classic. But I call it like I see it. Jurassic World is just another pure cash grab action sequel, like the much hated Jurassic Park 3 was, and nothing was advanced for this same story told 4 times over now. Even the ending of JWorld was the SAME ending of the first film and the third film, except with MORE MORE MORE.

If you listen to Colin Trevorrow's interview with the Schmoes Know Movies crew, he even admits that the movie had to hit certain studio influenced beats while in production, and that's lame. You should be trying to make the best movie possible no matter what (and maybe Colin did try to do that as this movie reeks of many studio/producer cooks in the kitchen). So to me, the bar should have been set at making a movie as good as JP '93. Not "We're just gonna aim for barely better JP 3 and arguably on pas with The Lost World.

Not settling for the usual "Include kids because kids need to relate, include military and a divorce story because domestic audiences are familiar with these tropes, redo the final battle of JP '93 but add more beasties because more equal better" etc. One more thing. I did a re-watch of all three JP films and I gotta say that the visual FX in Jurassic World, in 2015, are really not that special compared to it's first two cousins. Also, folks rag on JP3, but at least Joe Johnston tried to make animatronic Dino-baddies for its 3rd act showdown with the Spinosaurus Rex & Raptors.

After thinking about the movie, a proper poster tagline for this flick should have read:

"Jurassic World: The Park Is Open, But Only Dumb People Are Invited...please buy Bose, Starbucks, Mercedes Benz etc etc etc products on your way out."

The problem is, they are just moments of greatness, in what is otherwise a mediocre film. Part of the film feels like a do-over of something that has been done before. Which wouldn't be so bad if they'd committed to it. The characters are all less likable than previous installments. The dinosaurs are less scary too somehow. I know they obscured most of the gore for the rating. But its more than that. They can make a CG dinosaur more accurate and dynamic than anything 15 years ago. And then they move wrong. Too fluid, not enough like the animals they are based on or the established dinosaurs of previous films. There is this whole dinosaur behavior thing which didn't really work. They were too human in some instances, and then too "dumb animal" in other instances. They didn't show any "battle damage" either Sometimes the CG use breaks immersion too.
Considering the first film got 1 free pass (The Trex showing up quietly and saving them), this film easily needs 3 or 4.
The score of this film was off. (You don't notice when a score is "ON" but I noticed this score) And a fair number of dinosaur noises sounded two dimensional. They didn't have enough of a range really.
If I had to rank the Jurassic Park films, this one might tie with JP3. Or be a bit worse.

That is not because it was "new" back then. It just was simply a much better and more well put together film that still holds up today better than this one. I think my main issue centers on the fact that the movie just tries too hard to appeal to a super wide, mass audience with dumb cliche gimmicks (kiss scenes, feel good family scenes, out of place comedy lines, blatant rip offs of prior movies' scenes, etc etc). I can accept the raptors taking orders from Pratt (yeah it is super dumb, I agree, but whatever) but I simply cannot take the main girl wearing heels the entire movie because even in the context of the movie that is impossible -- she should sink in the mud at minimum --- they don't even have to show her change them, just change out of them, makes no sense. Honestly there really is too much else to complain about so I will leave it there.

So why a 5? It's not a "bad" movie per se. The movie was a fun ride if you have the typical American movie goer's brain, but I just wish it was more like the first and actually cared more about the story and character development with good acting rather than computer effects and cheesy scenes which are too many to count here. So what you get is just another generic movie no different than marvel super hero movies meant solely to draw huge crowds based on the "Jurassic" legacy with the addition of Starlord (Pratt).

I'll just put that thought in a little box and put it away. Despite that criticism, the film is great! The script was so and some of the acting could have been more credible, but the real stars of this film are the dinosaurs, especially the raptors. I fell in love with them and hated to see them die. They were the heart of the film. I take solace in knowing that at least the beta survives. Behind the raptors, the Indominus and T-Rex steal the screen. This is a film I greatly recommend for any dino-lover. We don't get very many dinosaur films and this one is a great one to watch. Expand

Me a gustado mucho, entretenida y nada pesada , tiene grandes guiños a la primera y a la segunda, en definitiva la recomiendo .

La saga a vuelto para quedarse , el futuro es prometedor.

The story is disappointing and at some points very illogical. The characters and the dialogs are even worse. Anyway, the movie knows how to create a lot of awesome scenes with the dinosaurs. If you want to see a average monster-movie with a great nostalgic feeling, you can't pick wrong with this movie. But overall, it can't compete with the original or even with the second or third Jurassic Park movie. Expand

What's worse, the movie never seems to be able to make up its mind whether it wants to be a bona fide action adventure or full-out camp (a la "Starship Troopers"). Sometimes filmmakers go to the well one too many times, and this is a classic example of that adage. Save your money. Expand

I though story was little bit off, evel dinosaur wasn't enough so they had to add evil guy that wants to use good dinosaurs to fight bad guys ... I mean c'mon, evel dinosaur that kills people is enough. And the woman that went through hell can run in high heels at the end is more sci-fi than dinosaurs park. The movie also tried to be funny at times and I thought that's not appropriate for jurassic world. Later people were even laughing at scenes that were supposed to be scary. We did enjoy this movie a little bit as we were not expecting much (and we saw San Andreas last week so anything is better than that), but I am afraid that people that want this to be sequel to jurassic world 1 or 2 will be dissapointed. Synopsis: The movie was Great it had good CGI and effects and great actors overall 9/10

Review: [spoilers for the first five minutes] The movie starts with two kids leaving to see there aunt who lives and works at Jurassic World and then stuff happens.
The beginning is a bit slow but the pace does pick up, the writing is good, but a bit predictable and the cast was really good, and the acting was mostly great but
at sometimes a bit weird. The CGI and effects are great the dinosaurs look great, but sometimes the CGI makes them look a bit fake or it just could be the fact that they
are dinosaurs. The references to the old movies are pretty good such as and old location being seen and explored, and one of the I.T guys wearing a Jurassic Park shirt.
Also the comedy is well timed and not overdone. The action is also spot on. so overall a 9/10

Viewing guide: I would recommend you don't take any kids under 8 - 10 to this movie because things die and there is blood but overall it could be a good movie
for the family

I felt like a kid again watching this! Though it doesn't have the same punch or as many awe-inspiring moments as the first Jurassic Park, this was a refreshing change of pace for the franchise. And even though The Lost World: Jurassic Park in my opinion is a very underrated film, Jurassic World is very worthy successor to the first movie and is a much needed improvement over the last two sequels, even The Lost World. I really enjoyed the fact that a lot of elements in the first movie make a comeback in this film. Chris Pratt's character is also the best the part of this movie and makes a lot of elements in this film that could have been super cheesy into cool and badass instead. My two major complaints though are that some of the supporting characters are not very well developed, and there are times where the movie gets very predictable. Other than that, have fun! It's a fun roller coaster ride with dinosaurs and is also the best Jurassic Park sequel to date. Expand

Having screenwriters from Rise of the Planet of the Apes' franchise, the engineering field of genetic modification works efficiently on the historic extincted animals and at the same time allows the plot to stress on the greediness of human nature, the ethical and morality behind as well as the dire consequences. Scores from Michael Giacchino mostly remain the original theme composed by John Williams, creating a sense of revisiting the old park while performance of Chris Pratt sparks with his serious characteristic throughout the entire film. The story is further well balanced with intense action sequences, fury battle between the dinosaurs and splendid visual effects although there's a few scenes of obvious CGI flaws. Overall, director Colin Trevorrow has transformed this mid-range Spielberg efforts into a satisfying adventure much better than the previous two sequels - The Lost World: Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park III. Bad dialogue, bad acting, the plot was poorly constructed, excessive product placement. Don't really need to say much more. Really didn't like this movie.

Yes the storyline is repetitive & predictable and the secondary thread with the Velociraptors just plain silly, plus considering the 22 years of technological advancement since ‘Jurassic Park’ the CGI effects here are not that impressive, but with an infusion of comedy and the irresistible charms of Chris Pratt added to the huge action set-pieces and the majesty of the park itself, ‘Jurassic World’ has captured just enough of the original’s elements to make it a thoroughly entertaining thrill-ride.

Story-wise the film continues the theme or warning against the manipulation of nature for corporate gain, rather ironic considering the distinct corporate nature of the movie, there’s also a clear reverence for the original with constant references to characters and events and the use of core elements from the iconic John Williams score.

The Bottom Line…
While it doesn’t hold a candle to the Spielberg original, ‘Jurassic World’ is by far the best of the “Jurassic” sequels and has just about enough to make it a fun thrill ride and a worthy summer “popcorn” blockbuster.

The movie was basically two hours of advertising placement and bad stereotypes. Every character could not have been more flat. It's like the script was incapable of creating characters. It is the antithesis of everything great about Mad Max

Don't expect anything like the original. This movie has been toned down for all audiences, you never see any gore or dismemberment.

The dinosaurs are no longer frighteningly fierce predators with killer instinct, but instead are now cute misunderstood animals with emotions. I can't say I like the CGI dinosaurs much, the animatronics look way better and more realistic. There's a few Jurassic Park references here and there. They don't have any purpose of being there except for very slight nostalgia but the characters don't even acknowledge it. It makes me wonder why they even bothered putting it in at all.

There is also alot of product placement, it's pretty noticeable such as drinking coke, getting into a car with the Mercedes logo shown nice and close, the kid naming the exact make and model of a jeep, logo on headphones, various background stores such as pandora etc.

The characters are fairly underdeveloped and generic. They force some brother sentiment a couple of times between Zach and Gray, and the relationship between Claire and Owen is predictable and pointless.

Overall, wasn't all that bad. The movie does keep you entertained despite lacking originality. I probably wouldn't watch it again and will probably forget about it's existence soon. Jurassic park is just a victim like so many classic movies which Hollywood is remaking and making tonnes of money off the name, despite the remake being ordinary and forgettable.

A silly and action oriented sequel to a franchise built on the original movie which had an interesting premise and scenes of true instinctual fear. Also, two words: altruistic dinosaurs. At least I enjoyed my popcorn and coke.

It was clear from the start what the problem was going to be, but I found most of the movie was unpredictable and put me on the edge of my seat just when I was starting to feel comfortable there would be not jump scares.

This movie is another great example of what would happen if humans were to raise dinosaurs, but this movie faces the problem of what will happen if humans were to genetically modified a dinosaur to be a certain way, for example, a killing machine.

It reminded me our dim-witted humans are and could be if this were to ever happen in the future, and how we would have to be very careful to look after such incredible beasts that once ruled this planet.

I had no real complaints about the movie, I thought certain scenes where children were able to play, ride and feed baby dinosaurs was really cool and I was on the verge of tears when seeing many innocent dinosaurs get ripped to shreds. That Jurassic World!
