Oct 7, 2024Undisputed is a must-have for all boxing fans and those looking for a more realistic experience inside the ring. Step into this ring with confidence, it's the most beautiful and complete fight you'll have had in a long time.

Oct 7, 2024Undisputed has the flavor of an assault on the title launched too early. Steel City Interactive's ambition is evident and also well-founded, given the quality of the boxing model created, but it has led the studio to take a step a little longer than its legs can chew. The game was born already big and not all aspects have enjoyed the same care reserved for combat, such as the Career Mode that excites between the ropes, but is as flat as the office work in the background. It is still a good title, especially for those who pay little attention to the frills and are only interested in the blows, on which in the future a new and promising dynasty can be built.

Oct 24, 2024Undisputed is a fantastic attempt to bring boxing back into the forefront of video games. The engaging career mode, realistic graphics, and well-executed in-ring action make it a strong contender in the otherwise quiet genre. For boxing enthusiasts who have been missing these games, Undisputed does a great job of bringing the thrill of the ‘sweet science’ to life. While I wish the roster had more current big names and the commentary was better; Undisputed still manages to stand tall as king of the ring for now.

Oct 10, 2024Despite some glaring roster omissions and little in the way of meaningful evolution over the boxing sims of old, Undisputed enters the ring as a lean and mean contender that's fighting fit. Just don't go expecting any seismic shifts when it comes to the boxing formula.

Oct 31, 2024Undisputed steps into the ring and I've decided to look at this as the foundation for a great boxing series. Not even close to perfect though, though there are a lot of good redeeming qualities about this game that should serve Undisputed well moving forward. Is Undisputed good enough to take the crown from Fight Night Champions? No. Is it the worst boxing game of all time? No. Undisputed does a good job incorporating some RPG leveling elements into a boxing game, and does so with a surprising depth of quality. While it may seem simplistic on the outside, once you dive into the heart of Undisputed you will see the wealth of content that this game does provide. Now, the big question remains, is it worth the full retail price of $59.99 good? Sadly, no. With the issues and lack of content I couldn't justify spending $60 on what would easily be a $30 game.

Oct 24, 2024If you’re thirsty for a boxing game after all these years without Fight Night, then Undisputed does fit the bill well, but with so many areas that are unfinished, it’s a bit of a hard sell. Undisputed gets the fundamentals right though, and if the fundamentals are all you care about, this is definitely a good boxing game, but it could’ve been so much more than that.

Oct 7, 2024Developer Steel City Interactive's approach to boxing in Undisputed is on the right track, but there’s a long road ahead of it. Its emphasis on realism, preparing for fights using RPG-like mechanics, and creating an adrenaline-filled experience in the ring are significant building blocks. Still, the fluidity of its gameplay animations and reactiveness of its commentators don’t come close to living up to the high bar that was set by the Fight Night series back in the late 2000s, and its realistic fighting can be a little dull if you’re in the mood for a KO instead of a TKO. Still, it serves as a decent meal for an otherwise-starved genre, and that’s a lot better than we’ve had in the last decade.
