Bethesda pura, es entendible que no a todo el mundo le gusten este tipo de juegos, pero sabíamos a lo que veníamos. Como pega el siste ma de pantallas de carga que se queda un poco anticuado.

Starfield propels the genre into a new frontier with its huge graphical leap, although NPCs' facial expressions remain a minor hiccup. The game offers an expansive universe teeming with activities, ensuring every step you take unfurls a captivating diversion. While this might be overwhelming for some, it's delightful for others..

One of Starfield's standout features is the intricate ship customization, a hard endeavor initially, but once mastered, it serves as a canvas for your creativity, inspiring vessels or, for those less artistically inclined, functional workhorses. Bethesda's hallmark freedom to role-play finds its zenith here, allowing you to embody roles ranging from an unassuming errand boy to a ruthless pirate, or a morally ambiguous "entrepreneur".

Exploration is an exhilarating affair, if not flawless. Surveying systems unfurls a trove of side quests and hidden "treasures" within structures and caves, revealing breathtaking vistas of the boundless Starfield. However, the carry weight system proves to be a sore point, even with skill improvements. The constant threat of encumbrance looms, potentially stifling the thrill of loot gathering.

While the game's narrative horizon knows no bounds, the map's spatial limitations feel somewhat confining. This quashes the hope for land vehicles.

The companion relationship system, although a welcome feature, occasionally exhibits inconsistencies. Actions or decisions that elicit disapproval may, bafflingly, garner favor later on, leaving you puzzled by the mercurial sentiments of your digital confidants.

A minor blemish comes in the form of frequent loading screens (even that, by this date, none took more than 8 seconds, usualy they take between 3-5 seconds), an aspect that, though not a game-breaker, disrupts the otherwise seamless immersion.

Despite these nitpicks, Starfield emerges as an enthralling spacefaring adventure, offering a galaxy of opportunities for creativity, exploration, and role-play. Bugs, while present, tread lightly, avoiding critical disruptions to the gameplay experience.

With a day and around ten hours "under my belt", navigating the cosmos has been a thrilling experience (deadly at some points, I'm talking to you space pirates!). The diversion into side quests has been irresistibly magnetic. Starfield is another proof to Bethesda's prowess in crafting immersive RPG worlds, beckoning players to lose themselves in the grandeur of space.

In summary, Starfield's ambitious foray into the RPG cosmos earns it a well-deserved 9/10. It isn't without its minor quirks, but its strengths far outweigh the occasional stumble.

Really loving this game. Been playing BGS titles since Fo3 and think this game has built on everything they've set up since then. Is it perfect? No but it is really really good; if you enjoy their style of RPG you can sink your teeth into this one and not feel like it wasn't worth while.

Skyrim and fallout in Space. What's not to love! Jumping into a new planet is incredible, and finding endless things to do and remembering this planet is only a small side portion of what the game has to offer.

While the game has some spots that I’m not a huge fan of (no planet to planet flight without fast travel). This is by far one of the best games I’ve played. The main line story is great and all the side content is fun and sometimes better than the main story. The ship building is a total time sink if you really get into it also. Great game that I highly recommend.

Starfield is no NMS and it doesn’t have to be - because it’s way better than that. Sure, we cannot fly from planet to planet, but who needs that if there’s a story and side quests you can travel way deeper into than you could travel in any solar system?

Be warned. It’s not perfect. But I had a really good time. I rarely play games but if you liked Fallout or Skyrim, I tend to believe you

I have been a longtime PlayStation fanboy and I bought a Series X specifically for this game, and I'm not disappointed.

Some of these negative reviews make me laugh. I see people complaining about some of the ~1000 planets being "empty". Duh, we're in space. It honestly adds a layer of immersion for me to visit a planet only to find nothing except beautiful planetary views for photo mode.

This game is not without flaws though, which is why I've rated it a 9 out of 10. The inventory system isn't great, space travel can be underwhelming, and the map system is awful. This game also has some minor bugs that are common with all Bethesda games, however most of the bugs that I've experienced (or seen posted on Reddit) are harmless and oftentimes hilarious.

I think a lot of the negative reviews are coming from people who had wildly unrealistic hopes and expectations of what this game would be. Again, this game isn't perfect, but it's provided me with >20 hours of amazing gameplay already and I haven't even begun to scratch the surface in terms of planetary exploration and completing missions.

Having to fast travel for almost everything is very annoying, but at least on Xbox, the loading is fast. Most of the enemies are the same and lack depth, and finally, exploration is tedious. Even though planet and space exploration is not the focus, when you have to do it for a mission, all you want is for it to end quickly, although it happens infrequently. Expand

The skill tree? there are over 80 different perks all with mini challenges within them to level them up an extra 4 times so it can’t be that. Maybe it’s the writing? But it can’t be that because there’s a bunch of side quest in main missions that you can do, And obviously some of them are going to be better than others, but that’s like every Bethesda game ever if you make a game at such a scale with so many branching pathways and things to do your gonna miss here and there with the writing but it is not most of the game and a lot of it is good story. Maybe it’s the scale? But It cant be because the scale is amazing The game is ginormous, just as big, if not bigger than other Bethesda games from the past. Is it the space travel? Because if it’s that then I guess I understand going to a map and fast traveling is annoying, but there is no way that that turns a 10 out of 10 into a 1,4 or even a six out of 10. They said it was gonna be like Skyrim in space and they have delivered on that promise you’re telling me that you walked to every single thing in Skyrim? Because last time I played Skyrim, I was fast traveling just as much as Starfield. There’s a bunch of places to explore a bunch of things to do side quests main missions a bunch of different ways you can craft, your weapons and a bunch of different weapons ranging from old earth shotguns to super futuristic laser guns knives to Calvary swords and the skill tree compliments each and every playstyle perfectly. So I ask again what are they lying about? This seems like a giant review bomb and nothing more. Coming from people who are parroting the opinions of large YouTubers and random talking points from people who haven’t played the game. It’s like a giant game of telephone. Game is amazing, slightly lacks in space travel 9/10 GOTY atm Expand

The stories told, both through the main quest as well as through side content like factions, capture the sense of awe that major franchises in Sci-Fi have captured for decades. Whether you want to play as a space explorer working for a long forgotten institution mapping the most distant portion of the universe, or a bounty hunter hired to eliminate major threats to the system, the story is yours to create.

Throughout the game, Bethesda has shown arguably it best writing since Oblivion, though it may be their best writing yet. The main quest has a major element of mystery, providing the player with a sense of discovery during their adventure, effectively reinforcing the feeling of being one of the first to discover the mysteries of the beautifully crafted universe. Side quests and faction quests will pull you into rabbit holes of experiences so vast and deep they will leave you forgetting the main quest even exists. The wide array of gameplay mechanics from outposts, the logical next-step of Bethesdas Fallout series, to shipbuilding, a feature fittingly unique to the genre, leave the power of a choose-your-own-adventure game fully to the player. Gunplay feels very good, the best a Bethesda game has to offer. And space combat while tough in the early hours captures the starship dogfight feel perfectly.

While its pros most definitely outweigh its cons, some still do hold it back from being a true masterpiece. This mostly boils down to performance, which takes some hits in densely populated areas. This, alongside some bugs, and the lack of a proper performance mode on console leave it just out of reach of the masterpiece rating. But it is most definitely a contender for the best Bethesda experience of all time and Game of the Year on top of it.

The only things I can fault at the moment are the lack of vehicles on planets because it can take a very long time to explore and the space travel between planets and systems.

Overall, I would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys RPGs, especially some of Bethesda's previous titles.

There are weaks, no doubt. But overall I love it. Everybody who expected an other game than a typical Bethesda-game like Fallout or Skyrim has themselfs to blame. The empty planets are okay, because the majority of all planets never will be settled. It makes the game more realistic in my opinion.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Starfield is a Bethesda game through and through. That comes with all its ups yet sadly also all it downs. Subjectively, I am enjoying this game a lot. Objectively, it's not a perfect game by any means - but what does that even mean? Imo, Red Dead Redemption 2 and Baldurs Gate 3 are near perfect games, but I am not enjoying playing them. Starfield has a lot of room to improve, but I cannot stop playing it - I am at almost 80 hours now since last friday.

Some real cons are the companion system. It's more than sad that Bethesda didn't only not improve the systems, but made them worse. Baldurs Gate 3 shows how great companions can be, Starfield does not. The graphics are also a weird case - sometimes the game looks absolutely stunning, sometimes completely garbage. The character models (faces, hair, skin etc.) are especially bad and make the game look outdated in comparison.

The story is probably the best Bethesda has ever done - it's not spectacular, but it's also not as bad as for example Fallout 4 main campaign. How they implemented NG+ is interesting but also counterintuitive. If you care about the little stuff NG+ has to offer, it might make you rush through the game the first times and that can absolutely ruin it. And it also takes some feel of importance out of the characters and their stories sadly.

The world spaces (or tiles) feel massive. I really hope that at some point we get land vehicles, because running around takes so long. And it won't be everyones taste that there is so much nothing - I also prefer compact, filled open worlds from older Bethesda titles. But the POIs are designed beautifully and packed with clutter and details, which makes the spaces much more believable than for example Fallout 4s rather scarce dungeons.

Ship stuff could be extended but also is a lot deeper than the first couple of hours make you think. I love it. I am already spending way too much time building my ship, which is another reason why I won't start NG+ until there is a mod that lets me save my ship designs lmao.

Overall, this is a great game. Sadly, it will again need a lot of modders work to make it an outstanding game, but the vanilla experience is already much improved from what Fallout 4 had to offer back in 2015.

Gaming is about drawing you in - being unable to shake those nagging thoughts during your mundane life which are telling you to go back and play. This game does just that.

The first few hours are slow, granted - but then why wouldn't it be with a game of this size? A beef casserole alway tastes better if you cook it nice and slow. And this is a very fine beef casserole.

Sure - it's got some bits in it some won't like - such as loading screens, no vehicles, finicky inventory system. Bit like mushrooms in a casserole. But it doesn't detract from it's overall flavour.

I'm not going to wax lyrical over it and just sum it up. If you like tonnes of missions, sidequests, satisfying combat and plushies - this is the game for you.

I've rated it a high 8, but pushed it through to a 9 for Vasco accidentally killing a side quest character when running into the room.

The developers have put a lot of time and effort into Starfield and it shows by the bucket load. This is the biggest game from Bethesda since Skyrim... it's even been labelled as Skyrim/Fallout in space, and this is exactly what we got with extra garnish and polish. The longer you play the game, the more you get out of it, and it's with this addictive game loop that just keeps you wanting more. It's not perfect and does need some fine tuning, but I'm sure these will get ironed out overtime as the game grows with DLC and updates.

Do yourself a favour... it will make you a better person. Pay no attention to the user scores, take off the sheep skin, play the game and make your own mind up.

Starfield is a game that allows you to play it many ways, but not all of those ways can be fun to each individual trying the game. If you engage with all of the systems and enjoy them, then this game lacks many of the issues that others are brining to the table. I also believe this game was inherently designed in a way that has lead people to play it how they think they should, but maybe shouldnt, which has lead to a less exciting experience. Were Fallout 4 seemed to mash all of the factions into the main quest to make you engage with all of them, Starfield recognizes the issues in doing that. You will not run into other the factions besides constellation for more than a moment and they hardly tie into the main quest. Fallout 4 suffered from tying all of the factions into the main quest. It caused the game to feel pretty empty of meaningful stories because there was not a boost in the number of side quests available to make up for the missing quest lines. This game is almost the opposite. Most of what you do for the main story amounts to going to planets and walking to where you'll find an artifact or temple, scanning the planet, mining resources, and exploring the few locals you may find on the planet surface. It felt, to me, as if Bethesda understands how much people put off their main quests. What I mean is, it feels like the main quest is actually a padding to story you create yourself. Maybe a better wording would be, they intend for you to make your own story. You'll get into to whatever adventures you get into this playthrough, and each arch you take your character through is as important as the main quest line because it's all your story. I think your supposed to get sidetracked and if just rush the main quest (like many reviewers are sadly forced to do with such a large game when time constraints are involved) you may have a worse experience because I don't believe it's the intended way to play. But, this is Bethesda, so the try to let you do it anyway if you'd like. That brings me to the choices. This game is much more in line with fallout 3 or, dare I say, New Vegas when it comes to choices. At times it even reminded me of some of my favorite immersive Sims (Nods to Arkane) in its design. Almost every non radiant or main story quest I've done so far has had multiple ways to achieve your goal or had sides to take in some way. Many of the main story missions are about go and collecting an artifact or just finding a temple so when people say there isn't as much choice in the main quest, it isn't necessarily because they aren't letting you make a choice. Its because the missions are basically fetch quests and what decision are you gonna make there? When the story calls for player choices, I've seen it there. I could go on forever, but it's safe to say that if you're a fan of what Bethesda does, you'll get your money's worth out of this game. If you're not a fan of what Bethesda does, why waste your time here looking at reviews?

I'll cap it off by stating clearly, THIS GAME ISN'T PERFECT. It has its flaws and it has its bugs, but this may be the slickest, high quality package Bethesda has ever released when it comes to technical reliance, systems design, and art direction. Absolutely loving it and will be playing this for many years.

I've seen plenty of critique around loading screens, and a lack of continuity when taking off and landing, or flying from A to Z which is why I wanted to write this review.

Personally I think it looks great. You can view the take off and landing of your ship, and view the entering and exiting of light speed. You can walk right up to your ship to enter it. It will load for about 2 seconds, and you can then walk up to the pilot seat at and sit down to initiate take off.

To me, all that's pretty cool and immersive

The loading screens are so brief as to almost not exist, so you'd also almost wonder if they couldn't pre load as you approach the ship so you could climb in and enter.

Either way I'm loving this so far and likely to sink hundred of hours in. It's even taken me away from BG3 for a few nights :p Highly recommended!

Great game! Has the usual bethesda jank but better then skyrim launched. If you love bethesda games you'll probably love it. If not, well then this game probably won't change your mind.

Lot's of hate about "boring" planets or lots of walking. After 1500 hours in elite dangerous the planets in Starfield are so much better. Sure, tons of them are empty and relatively boring, but without the moments of isolation and desolation you lose the sense of emtpy space. The developers even said that was part of the design philosophy and I 100% agree with it. Landing on an airless, desolote moon, scrounging for some resources give vibrancy and life to the rest of the game.

Some may find this boring. I won't critize what you find boring but I really appreaciate the game for what it is. Empty and desolate spaces sourounded by gems of custom conent and suprisingly good procedurally generated sites. I also like the more natural and real look compared to my 300 hours in NMS.

Pretty sure people that have said it is boring didn't play NMS or Elite Dangerous. I loved elite, but man the planets were completely empty with nothing to do. Literally couldn't land on the planets for almost 4 years. You could just fly around in space. No walking, no talking, no npc's, missions were click a menu then fly for 30 minutes to land and click another menu. I still loved the game, but you literally don't do anything but fly around and look at pretty planets or shoot space pirates. No story, nothing. They have added some bases now so you can collect rocks, then transport those to another menu screen. On PC they finally added the ability to walk around, but for 6 years elite dangerous was like the most boring planet you can possibly imagine in Starfield and that was the entire game unless you liked flying.

In point I did enjoy the flying. Jumping into a system and seeing huge gas giants, black holes, nuetron stars, etc. It was a space game about flying through an absolutely completely empty galaxy. So now you have starfield. You don't fly from planet to planet but the interactions in planetary orbit are exactaly the same as elite dangerous.

I played over 300 hours in NMS sky, bought a PS5 just to play it. Horrible, boring, samey planets, no variance once you landed on a planet, every character looked the same as every other character from their race. No spoking dialogue, just horrible.

Now you have Starfield, all the action in planetary orbit as elite without having to fly 3 hours to a boring desolate rock of a planet, land, and find absolutely nothing. Starfield chose a different route. It's human stories with a space theme, it's not xwing or elite. It's not a space flying sim. It's sci-fi in space.

Again, if you find that boring that's fine, but to objectively say bathesda made a bad game because of their design decisions is not correct. I think wordle is the dumbest game every and 100 million people play it. I'm not going around bashing it as a crap game. It's not for me, I don't like it. Starfield is the same way. For those that enjoy it it's absolutely fantastic. For those who don't they think it's boring and empty. To each their own.

jogo inclivel, me prende nas missões, recomendo jogar as missões secundária, tem alguns bugs mas nada que estrague a experiência do usuário, também faltou dublar para o português Brasil.

It is almost a perfect 10. Before I get into the good I’ll do the bad and why it is not a ten

The BAD -So so so many load screens on the XSX. They aren’t long, but it's everywhere. On a gig-wired connection, I still see the game having trouble loading at times. I have frozen 2 times so far in 48 hours. There were many other times it looked like it was going to freeze then pulled

    The BAD
-So so so many load screens on the XSX. They aren’t long, but it's everywhere.
On a gig-wired connection, I still see the game having trouble loading at times. I have frozen 2 times so far in 48 hours. There were many other times it looked like it was going to freeze then pulled through.
Aircraft modification- the design is poor. The navigation to get to parts on the ship is frustrating. you have to float up, down, left, right/ but they are fluid in doing so when you do.
Worlds with creatures could have more> I’ve walked whole planets and could go over 5-10 minutes without seeing more life.

    The Good-
The environment just looks amazing with so much detail everywhere you go.
Space battles are so much fun ONCE you figure it out. You need to upgrade your ship and other skills to make it enjoyable.
The side quests. I can’t say never. But writing this now, I cannot think of another game that has side quests so in-depth and connect with each other, that would just want to see what happens next. They feel like the main story, but completely separate. They are very well put together and really make you invested in and story and routing for one person or another. So good.
That ships just look cool, and once you can buy better ones it's that much more fun.
The selection of guns. There are so many different ones, you really get to figure out what works for you and what your preference is
I know people want to explore space. But I am glad you can quick travel. There is so much to do on so many different planets in different solar systems. If you didn’t quick travel, you would be playing this game for 50 years to finish everything.
The variant missions. So many different ones you, or I at least, am still excited to try the next one.
    CONCLUSION-
First, I was never hyped about it. I didn’t like no man's sky so I didn’t know if I would even like this. So with no expectations going in - I have now been addicted to it.
I would say at least give it a chance. 10-20 hours at least doing and trying different things
Don’t just do the main mission do some side ones. Join a vanguard and do their mission.
You’ll feel invested and want to keep going. I did anyway.

Please don’t pay attention to the negative comments. Yes Starfield isn’t a perfect game it has its issues and just like many others I had high expectations and some wasn’t met but it’s still a great game probably the best Bethesda game they’ve made as of right now. If you love space games especially an RPG space game you will love Starfield and the many things it has to offer.

Definitely a must play ship building could be better. This is game we're going of to a random location can be bust or a payday the pure random encounters I've seen so it's been a good experience so far 70 hours in and still not done the main quest.

Incredible game, Arguably Bethesda's best so far. This is a game that has the potential to be supported by both the company and players for many years to come.

PS: 90% of the negative comments /ratings here are from people with a white console from a different brand with a severe inferiority complex.

Game take awhile to get going but it’s a great game once you get the hang of it. If you like other BGS games then this is the best of the best. You won’t be disappointed. Enjoy

By far the best game Bethesda has ever released - and the least buggy, by a country mile. The ultimate space RPG. Emphasis on RPG. It's a Bethesda RPG, that just happens to be set in space, which is everything I have ever wanted. If you're a fan of TES or Fallout, and a sci-fi nerd, you're sure to enjoy Starfield. There are some issues with inventory management and the lack of a proper map is annoying, but to say that these inconveniences ruin the game is ridiculous. Many other people went into this game hoping it would be a disaster, because to them I guess getting to dunk on Todd Howard is more important than just enjoying yourself, so found a few small imperfections and said 'mission accomplished! This game is a completely embarrassing failure!' '16 times the bugs!' 'Sweet little lies!' 'Old game engine = bad'. Sometimes I wonder whether these internet commenters are actually human or just pet parrots let loose at a keyboard. Expand

30hrs in and this game is fun and entertaining. Maybe just as much as fallout 3 and skyrim was for me. The fighting is extremely well done for a Bethesda game. I did the mantis mission about 10 hrs in and that was pretty awesome to see what i got at the end of that mission. Some bonus dialog outcomes since getting all of it. So it has altered the game a little bit for doing that mission.30hrs in and this game is fun and entertaining. Maybe just as much as fallout 3 and skyrim was for me. Yes there is loading screens and the space flying is more realistic. Cant fly from earth to Jupiter in minutes. Apparently that has people upset. Grav jumping. Yeah that is in and out of loading screens. Bethesda could of done better with that.
All around the game is fun. It's Bethesda most polished game but its still a Bethesda game. I say you should give it a shot and see what you think.

Great game with incredible depth. There are many different things to do in the game such as going on story quests, building bases, and building your own spaceships.

The reviews are difficult to trust due to the politics behind Microsoft's Bethesda acquisition and the lack of Playstation release.

But personally? My favourite Bethesda RPG to date. Thus far 170 hours played. A few areas are a bit rough around the edges; for instance, I find it difficult to engage too much into the ship building. Doors and ladders should've been separate modules

But personally? My favourite Bethesda RPG to date. Thus far 170 hours played.

A few areas are a bit rough around the edges; for instance, I find it difficult to engage too much into the ship building. Doors and ladders should've been separate modules because while there's a trick with ladders it seems door placement is entirely random. Interior decoration should also be allowed using the games apartment/outpost build system.

Additionally while I found myself not needing a map, it seems a lot of people have issue with navigation. It's a simple thing, and there should be proper maps especially for cities.

I don't think I've really done any procedurally generated stuff; the game is packed to brim with curated content that I believe it's best seen as a bonus. Imagine if the Skyrim map kept going outside of its boundary but it was all snow with the occasional ruin or cave, that's basically how it works.

Visually the game is stunning for the most part. I love the characters. hair and the landscapes of some planets.
Unfortunately water, or perhaps more specifically how light interacts with water, looks bad. Really bad, like stepping backwards in time to 360/PS3 era.
Some biomes do too but I also suspect this is due to light/reflective limitations rather than textures, because it's typically ice biomes that look the worst.

Music. The music and sound design in this game is phenomenal, definitely one to play with headphones.

I was shocked at how few bugs I've encountered for a game of this scale and I found the story, characters and world to be far more engaging than the majority of Skyrim or Fallout.

    Will you like this game?
Well to be clear I am not a fan of RPGs generally, Baldurs Gate and Final Fantasy are my idea of torture.
This is an RPG. An action one. If you've ever played Skyrim or Fallout and you enjoyed those games then there's a very good chance you will enjoy this.

If you tried those games and did not like them?
You will definitely not enjoy this game.

Just a huge, massive and brilliant adventure. It's not perfect but who care ? There's so many details. I'm at 30+ hours and I want another 100.
    Thanks Bethesda.

It's a big game, but starts way too slowly, and may never get interesting.

It is true that you'll find a good number of barren wastelands with little to do other than extracting some resources and take off to more interesting places, but again it really depends on how you want to play. There's so much to do, so many systems and abilities to explore, missions to complete, spaceships to loot, and species to catalogue, that I honestly don't think there's anybody who thinks that exploring every square meter of this universe is the better way to enjoy Starfield.

While it has weak spots and doesn’t push many boundaries, Starfield is still an excellent RPG experience. Bethesda has once again mastered the things it built its reputation on – world building, quest design, and deep customization. However, it’s found new things to excel at too, with exciting combat and a novel implementation of New Game Plus.
