    Another Bethesda game that's going to take me years to finish, so much content and so much I want to do. I really like the Improved combat from previous games like Fallout 4, it has a good feel to it. Love the beautiful 80's space age aesthetic, reminded me of artwork and architecture design from old issues of Popular Science and Omni.

    O que nao pode ser deixado de lado que ele é uma mistura de fallout com Elite Dangerous e No man sky. Historia, final, e mecânica. Não achei nenhuma mecânica nova ou historia inovadora. Mas para quem estava querendo mais fallout ou The Elder Scrolls, vai se divertir. quem não gosta desses jogos esqueça o starfield, quem busca    Jogo muito bom para quem gosta de RPG no estilo fallout 3 ou 4.

    Fantastic game. Everything you have come to expect from a BGS RPG with the addition of enormous exploration. Quests are varied and entertaining while ship and outpost building almost feels like a different game in the best way. Only thing holding the game back is above average gunplay and lack of in depth tutorials. It is clear by the negative reviews on this site the review bombers areFantastic game.     It's a great game. If you like Skyrim and Fallout - you will like that one too. They finally fixed weapons, leveling up feels great, quests are awesome. Really,
    Optimization problem is not really a problem. Have you seen videos of people spawning thousand of toilet paper rolls and it runs smooth? There can be fps drops when game trying to load some location but playing on my laptop's 3060    It's a great game. If you like Skyrim and Fallout - you will like that one too.     It is an amazing video game. I like everything, things to improve and sure will come, but as it is a vice, it is impossible to stop playing and in your day to day you can not stop thinking about re-entering the Starfield

    Large scale Mass Effect 1 in the best ways, high quality faction quests and side quests, deep ship/weapon and spacesuit customisation. Fantastic game.

    Starfield is an amazing game from BGS from the beautiful scenery to the epic quests you can find while exploring the Starfield universe. It's a must play for anyone that loves sci-fi or exploring the unknown.

    there are a few small issues that could be improved on hence the 9 But it’s one of the best games I’ve played on any platform in years…… currently at 30 hours (I’ve not stopped playing ) Disappointed with the ‘journalists’ who played the intro just to criticise it for not being ‘next gen’ but everyone has their own opinions.     I'm enjoying it very much. I played it for 93 hours so far. I'm enjoying every aspect of the game. I love the planetary environments, the sound and visual departs, the different faction lores, free exploring, cities and settlements, the spaceship encounters and boarding, crafting, finding and collecting space-suit wear and outfits, and the quests and activities, including its photo mode.I'm enjoying it very much. I played it for 93 hours so far. I'm enjoying every aspect of the game. I love the planetary environments, the sound and visual departs, the different faction lores, free exploring, cities and settlements, the spaceship encounters and boarding, crafting, finding and collecting space-suit wear and outfits, and the quests and activities, including its photo mode.

    I still have to master building and managing planetary outposts, but it's not a problem. It's a great RPG to immerse yourself in for hundreds of hours!

    All in all, it is a great and solid game. I rate it a 9/10 in its current state. It will get even better with future patches and mods.    … Expand

    i really do like this game,

    Having never played a bethesda game, i didnt know what to expect, just seeing their history so i assumed it would be intresting. the pros 1. very expansive game, freedom to choose my path 2. intresting storyline, 3. a space game that is right in my wheel house. 4. the ability to use my gamesave on both xbox and pc 5. many hours of fun wether its    i really do like this game,

    1. the tutorial system is lacking (no where near as harsh as eve online i have played for years)
    2. i have had a number of crashes to desktop
    3. i have had a few bugs where the characters i have to talk to are not there (fixed via reload the game).

    No começo senti falta de um fps mais alto e um mapa local mais detalhado. Mas em menos de 30 minutos já havia me esquecido desses pequenos pontos. O jogo lembra muito a jogabilidade de fallout 4, porém com uma exploração muito mais detalhada. É um jogo que todos deveriam jogar ao menos uma vez na vida.

    Still haven't actually finished the game, but for the first time in many many years I can't wait to fire a game up every moment I can. The game gives me the feelings I had when I was playing in my 20s and now I'm 39. This is enough for a 10/10 for me, giving a 9/10 only due to the fact it could have been a better game looking at its technical side.

When I first entered this huge universe, it reminded me of when I was young, in the evening when I looked at the stars, I always wanted to see this big galactic world around us, and the game came to get this little nostalgia.     The story puts us in the shoes of a galactic explorer who must recover artifacts. Although the game is fairly short considering it's an RPG, the story is excellent. The characters could have been a little more charismatic. Unfortunately, I didn't feel attached to the characters.

    The "Space Cowboys" side quests are excellent! That of the "Cybercorp" on the other hand, I found it quite boring. As for "Space bandits" and "United Colonies", both are good and interesting.

    The gameplay is enjoyable and easy to pick up. I liked the base and ship building even though it can be unwieldy when you've never played Fallout.

    Even if there was a lot of "Hate" on the graphics, I found that the game is super beautiful and anyway, I pay little attention to the graphics in general, the content is in my opinion much more important. At the beginning, we quickly realize that the game is at 30 fps but after 1 to 2 hours of play, we don't see it anymore. I hope to have an update anyway for 60 fps in the near future. The music and sounds are generally good. It's not branding music like Destiny but it does the job.

    With the arrival of mods, the Replayability is there. I can't wait to be able to experience the game for a 2ᵉ and 3ᵉ time with the addition of mods.

    Definitely not an issue free game, but the most complete Bethesda title to date. I'm about 30 hours in and haven't even gotten 20% of the way through the main story. The amount of detail in the side quests and factions will keep me entertained for weeks. Also, to the people complaining about the character models and facial expressions, have you never played a Bethesda title?     Honestly this game is amazing, probably the thing that made people angry was the loading screens or maybe that thousands of people thought that each planet would be the map from Zelda, but listen guys this game is huge and enjoyable, I recommend this game a lot, besides it’s on gamepass what else do you guys want?

    Classic consuming Bethesda. Brilliant itteration of the tried and tested RPG formula with a magnitude of variables on a universal scale. Will be lost in space for years.

    Only reason I give it a 9 is bc load screens can become too much. However you kinda get used to it and learn tricks to avoid them. Hopefully it is fixed at some point otherwise this game is a masterpiece and the more you play the better it gets!! I just love it

    I really do not understand the low scores here. This game is different from other Bethesda game in that exploration is fundamentally different. There is not walking out of the cave or of the vault moment. There is not pick a direction and go moment. There is an incredible amount of high quality content here and it is clear that a lot of love went into this game. Perhaps other players just need to spend more time with it or maybe they are just disappointed that its not no man's sky with a Bethesda game attached to it. I don't know. But overall the critic review average is definitely fair. There are some problems with the game (the segmented felling travel being the biggest offender here) but there is so much more that is of such high quality that I cannot fathom the low scores. I'd say anywhere between an 85 and a 90 is definitely fair for this one. In a year or two down the line YouTube is definitely going to be filled with Starfield retrospectives about what a good game this is and how people overreacted to it's downsides in their reviews.… Expand

    Ellos no buscan crear un simulador de exploración galáctico ni nada tan grande como eso, sino que ellos así como en el resto de sus IPs lo que quieren es crear una historia que enganche a partir del momento en que abres tu mente a seguir hacia adelante; es verdad que el tema de los mundos explorables es bastante escueto por no decir cansino ya que no suelen tener gran cosa en ellos, pero a veces la realidad pega muy duro incluso en juegos de ciencia ficción donde, seamos honestos solemos esperar experimentar cantidades ingentes de elementos jugables y eventos que seguramente se escapan aun de lo que casi cualquier pieza de hardware actual podría soportar sin caer por debajo de los 20 fps en calidad gráfica baja.
    por todo lo demás no hay mucho que añadir, es un juego de bethesda desarrollado por bethesda el cual cumple con creces las expectativas reales que bastante gente esperabamos. ¿Que, acaso te creíste el clickbait de un Youtuber/tiktoker/twittero que decía que se había filtrado que el juego te dejaría aterrizar de forma 100 en tiempo real en el juego? ¿Seguro que no se invento eso para llamar la atención de unos cuantos mentes blandas en internet? que va, eso nunca pasa.
    a todo esto, recalcando, es bueno tener expectativas sobre cualquier cosa, la cuestión es saber medirlas conforme al contexto completo del evento/situación/suceso que vaya a ocurrir, ya que como sabemos el que mucho abarca poco aprieta y generalmente la gente tiene una facilidad para inflarse la cabeza con cosas que seguramente no van a pasar que ya podría competir con la propia luz en ver quien es mas rápido.
    Para concluir, admito que las pantallas de carga y menús del juego son muchas más en cantidad comparados a otras entregas de bethesda, pero igualmente, para lo poco que tienden a durar no le veo un problema que se pueda decir arruine monumentalmente la experiencia del juego y los bugs, pues ahí están, ya para este punto se les podrían considerar como parte de la marca registrada de bethesda, aunque eso sí, la cantidad de los mismos es sustancialmente menor al promedio, por lo que se puede decir que es el juego "mejor pulido" que nos hayan entregado en bethesda    … Expand

    Just like any other BGS games i played (Skyrim, oblivion and fallout 4) this is in short a classic but modernized in graphic and story. I love everything in starfield with the exploration where we can found anything in any planet and can make everything basically we’re instead controlling that world, we’re controlling the galaxy soing anything we want in any planet we discover. I’ve been with Starfield for about 18 hours now since I’ve been sitting with Covid, and I could say it’s a flawed game… exploration, isn’t the highlight of the game, but the physics are. A lot of games don’t have doors. The only drawback is the exploration. The graphical fidelity of the game is beautiful, but NPC’s could use touch up especially ones that aren’t story driven characters you could tell less love was put into them overall I’m having fun with the game and that’s what gaming should be about having fun 8.5 for me… Expand

    If you enjoy the other Bethesda rpgs then you will enjoy this! Another world to get lost in but can be a bit overwhelming at first! In my opinion, the main story is the best storytelling they have done so far in their rpgs. Would highly recommend this game.

    I will say the 30fps on console is a tad annoying, still enjoyable but would love to see some updates into thay area, console dynamic    If you enjoy the other Bethesda rpgs then you will enjoy this! Another world to get lost in but can be a bit overwhelming at first! In my opinion, the main story is the best storytelling they have done so far in their rpgs. Would highly recommend this game.

    This is everything I wanted from a Bethesda space RPG. It's a brilliant game! My only criticisms would be the map is a little confusing and the loading screens can be annoying. It takes a few hours to get into the game but once you get going you get hooked! I highly recommend this game

    Graphic isnt the best but passable...
    30fps is fairly smooth but a few drips here and there...
    No major bugs so far...

However, as an older gamer these things have become secondary, and the uniqueness of Bethesda's style is something I get now.     Side note: I am a very political minded person and have no affinity with "pronouns." However, that in no way keeps me from enjoying the 99.999% of this game that has nothing to do with "pronouns."    … Expand

    Imo, a great game. That only gets better the more you play. Skyrim is space. Who wouldnt love it. Some of it is still janky, some models, physics etc but the overall experience outweighs that. Anyone who rates this anything lower then a 7 is disingenuous.

The game starts out slow, the intro feels like it is hours while it lasts only a few minutes, upholding the tradition of iconic yet tiresome intros Bethesda gave in their previous games like Skyrim, Oblivion and Fallout. But once you get off Vectera, your journey only yet begins. The world is amazing, although very huge and lonely, it is more filled than you can imagine. The graphics though, look good, but not revolutionary. They sometimes look outdated, or if you put enough zoom and focus on them, but overall, it is by no means unacceptable. Gameplay is a big step up. The UI is confusing and not very organized, but adaptable. The animations and movements never felt more alive and human in a Bethesda game before. And the player immersion takes some time, especially for the lack of guidance (mine personally was not letting me know to scan before attending New Atlantis, where I wasted 15 mins wondering why I can’t land in the latter), but once it takes effect, it’s rewarding and brilliant. Combat is great, not revolutionary of course, but fun and engaging, whether it is firearms or just melee. Story is interesting, but I couldn’t finish it because I was already doing side quests, so that’s a great point. Soundtrack is instantly iconic, very well-made, soothing, epic. I’m not embarrassed to say that I spent 10 minutes on the menu just listening to it. Now, overall, the game is as mentioned earlier perfect but not flawless. It’s an engaging masterpiece. And at the moment, it’s my GOTY. Many people may agree or disagree, but to each its own. Starfield, from me, gets a solid 9/10.… Expand

The sheer scale of the game is what pleased me the most, to think you can go to any planet and start doing missions on the fly really impressed me.     En 20h que llevo jugando no me parece para nada un mal juego, lo digo por todos los 5 que está recibiendo. Yo no me quejo tanto de la i.a de los enemigos pero si de la de tu compañero que en ocasiones se pone delante tuyo en medio de un tiroteo. Todavía no e tenido tiempo de sumergirme en la creación de naves y asentamientos, pero sé que cuando lo aga tendré otras tantas horas más de juego. En definitiva, toda esa gente que le a puesto 5 al juego es porque se pensaban que esto iba a ser un no man's Sky echo por bethesda, pero el no man's Sky es un juego de solo exploración y más exploración, carente de personajes con trasfondo y personalidad y historias con carisma, que es lo que es Starfield.… Expand

    With my hopes up high on Starfield, the game itself lived up to my heavy expectations, with a nice story, great combat and gunplay that actually works, interesting characters, and overall, one of the better games of this year, and a Xbox Series X game not named the fantastic “Hi Fi Rush” that is actually worth it on the console.

    Starfield is great fun and i enjoy it alot. Easy to get distracted and just explore everything my only real complaint is the fact its 30fps on series x but its not a deal breaker. Would love to see a 60fps option, havent really experienced many bugs maybe one or 2 in 20 hrs of play. Game is a must try for sure but its not for everyone

I haven’t played a BGS game since Skyrim and I felt that same love when I started Starfield. Some seemingly copy paste environments where I have had the exact same base on differing planets. I do think it's time to put the old bird out to pasture and build a new engine (creation engine 3?) from scratch. But it's a double edge sword as modding is a big thing with this current engine and maybe that why they chose this rather than another engine that may not be capable of such easy modding for the community. I truly don't understand the hate for this game, yes I'm talking to you guys that left 0 score or a 1 because I question if you even played the game at all. Not liking a game and leaving a legitimate score is one thing, no one is saying you must leave a 10 or nothing, but at least judge it properly. Not through the eyes of a fan boy. Yes it has problems with vast emptiness, but such is the nature of space. Most, maybe even all, are barren in reality. Does barren equate to a good time? Not really but showing that space is barren and that you could go lifetimes before discovering a thing is in my opinion a good thing, makes you feel truly alone in this vast universe and is what makes it special. And the excitement of looking out the vast barren landscape only for something to catch your eye is something to behold, so you set out in the direction of that spot you see. Maybe is another rock but who knows what you'll find. And that is part of the charm, outside of the main quests and countless side quests. This game truly captures how lonely I imagine space to be, and how small we truly are. Give it a go. With an open mind. Who knows, maybe you'll love it. And if you don't that's cool. Don't hate a game simply because it's on a competing platform, that truly is silly because you will miss out on some truly astounding games.… Expand

But the big part of starfield is that it isn't what you can't do, but the limitless amount of things you CAN do. The exploration is great and the best part of the game in my eyes is the ship customization. You can literally do anything. and mod support could mean theTruly a return to form for Bethesda.     Don’t worry — there won’t be any spoilers here in this review.

    We will start at the begining of the game however, not discussing the story aspect but just how it goes. It’s a Bethesda title so it’s a nice little tutorial. You learn basics: walking, talking, mining, shooting, navigating menus, using your ship etc…

    The tutorial is a good entry into the game. There’s a lot to learn, but the game doesn’t throw everything at you all at once. You progressively learn how to things such as outposts and upgrading your ship. However, some areas such as the Digipicking minigame are not explained well enough and would have benefited from a better explanation.

    During the tutorial you will also create your character. This is a pretty detailed one, you can really go in on how you want to look, choose your name (and pronouns!) Aswell as a backgrounds and some traits which can unlock some new dialogue options or alter the way you play.


    Let’s not beat around the bush and ignore the main part of what makes Starfield a Space RPG. Space! The controls for your ship are basic and easy to understand after a short time using it. Space combat is relatively basic but with perks you can get a bit more advanced, taking out enemies weapons to prevent them shooting you or destroying their engines and docking then boarding their ship.

    Additionally, despite space being so vast with numerous systems within the Settled Systems, it’s not always empty — of course, it will be a lot of the time but you can often find yourself encountering various NPCs who you can interact with, some are just fun little encounters, some will involve fighting. A bit of variety to make you question whether you should prepare for a fight whenever you see a ship infront of you.

    Landing back on the surface, let’s talk exploration. When you land on a planet/moon you will be given a tile to explore. Various points of interests can generate in these tiles and ships can occasionally land. However we must note that it can be at times, tedious to get on/off a surface as you will experience a load screen, animation and another load screen. I must say also, the points of interests can be really interesting with some quests/hidden story & lore buried within them if you’re a keen explorer.

    Graphically I don’t feel experienced enough to comment on this part of the game; but I recommend you check out Digital Foundry’s in-depth analysis.

    Cities: Skylines, are beautiful. The cities feel very lived in, busy, bustling. However I’d be lying if I said the NPC civilians looked great, they can be questionable but I do excuse Bethesda bit on this as they’re meant just for background noise, the key NPCs are much better modelled.

    In conclusion: Starfield is a great game if you can stomach the slow burn before you feel it start to really open up for you. The game has its ups and downs but the ups far outweighed the downs for me. There’s a lot to do and a lot to explore but this game doesn’t throw it all at once. There’s flaws such as bugs, crashes, badly explained mechanics, load screens and poor NPC models but given how far and few the crashes were, how I gradually learned the mechanics I struggled, how fast the game loaded and how rarely I looked at an NPC long enough to care? I don’t feel these detracted from the game for me    … Expand

    Starfield is a massive space exploration game. If you like space and RPG's you will enjoy this game. Many of the negative reviews come from salty star citizen players and Sony pony fan boys ( I've only every sony system, I just enjoy all games). This is the kind of game Destiny 2 should have been with the freedom of exploration and tons and tons of things to do in the game after the mainStarfield is a massive space exploration game.     I loved this game. Starfield is Bethesda's best game. It took everything that was good about Fallout and Skyrim and made it better. I loved the ship fights.

    I haven't had any critical bugs in my game, just menu crashing bugs or something like that, nothing special. If you are a fan of RPG, shooting and space content, then this game is really for you! But if you don't like RPG games,    I loved this game. Starfield is Bethesda's best game. It took everything that was good about Fallout and Skyrim and made it better. I loved the ship fights.

    Through about 40hrs, bugs I've encountered have been very minimal. There's a small freeze when restarting the game through Quick Resume but it's only about a second long. Think I've only completed 3 story missions to this point, been getting lost in all the side quests

    I wasn't expecting this experience. Bethesda out did themselves with this one. Incredible advancement in graphics, animation, gunplay, gameplay. The main story is engaging, the music is out of this world. So many possibilities, so many things to discover. Exploration is satisfying in itself. I completed the main story with only minor bugs, nothing gamebraking. If you wonder about theI wasn't expecting this experience. Bethesda out did themselves with this one.     Star Field, delivers what it sets out to do. It's a great game with a lot of content and depth. Bethesda could just release an update so we have the option to run at 60fps on consoles, that's my only "negative" review, the rest is awesome!

    A Bethesda game but more extended... they build a real good game who is more then good but not best space opera. Enjoy the game, leave the rest to haters..just enjoy what it is..and not what it is not.

    I have been a Bethesda fan since oblivion! This truly feels like a return to form for them! I haven’t had a game give me the feeling this game has since Witcher 3 back in 2015!! From multiple side stories, the main story, the ship customisation, the outpost building it’s an amazing experience and a world you can completely get lost in! It’s not perfect you do spend a considerable lot ofI have been a Bethesda fan since oblivion! This truly feels like a return to form for them! Whilst the story is quite short compared to most rpg's in recent years side quests make up for length of the main quest. To get the most out of this game you have to roleplay as your character and stick to it with ng+ allows you to change your approach.     Spent more than a couple days playing Starfield and honestly I was blown away by the level of interactions you get at every turn. What I love the most about the game is the amount of quests you get to do and how much they can really impact you and your character in the game. Don't get me wrong, the main quest is good as well but these sides quests are truly something special as well. Wasn't much into Starfield till I saw the Direct and was truly amazed by the gameplay/gun-play. I'm a sucker for these types of shooters and being able to switch between 1st and 3rd person makes it perfect in my opinion though I mostly play in 3rd person. Was sad to see that it's locked to 30fps on console though but honestly with how smooth it runs mixed with the gameplay I just forget it's 30fps. As for the cons of the game, I too came into thinking there would be bugs/glitches but to my surprise...nothing. Not to say the game is "bug free" but the game is more polished than one might expect and as mentioned before, it just runs smooth. Frames do tank just a bit in New Atlantis but outside of that (to me) I haven't experienced any frame issues on my Series X. All in all, I think Bethesda knocked it out of the park with Starfield that adds the perfect amount of everything to the mix to make this game become special now and in the future. As of writing this, there are mentions of mod supports that's not just PC but will be on console too and I can't wait to see what that has to offer.… Expand

    Bethesda at its best! Really enjoying the game i am currently 50+ hours in and still have so much to do including finishing the main story. GOTY nominee!

    This is a great Bethesda game and provides the usual big world to explore and enough content for 100s of hours.
    This game is extremely fun when you enjoy Bethesda games.

    Nevertheless it also has a lot of technical and UI flaws and it would be great when Bethesda puts in more effort to beyond the standard experience.

    Empecé en el early access y llevaré ya como unas 80 horas, y cada vez que hago algo nuevo, veo todo lo que me queda por delante y me maravillo. Este no es un juego para un pegarse un vicio, este es un juego para ir saboreando poco a poco, para disfrutarlo. Me encanta la mezcla entre Fallout y Mass Effect que tiene. Sinceramente era el juego que quería. Las misiones me están encantado, loEmpecé en el early access y llevaré ya como unas 80 horas, y cada vez que hago algo nuevo, veo todo lo que me queda por delante y me maravillo.     Dentro de mi experiencia como jugador y llevando muchas horas es un juego que te tendrá atrapado durante demasiado tiempo Me encanta la jugabilidad, gráficos, historias y personalización Lo malo es que no siento tanto incentivos para explorar tantos planetas pero espero eso se arregle en un futuro Es solo mi experiencia pero enserió no puedo dejar de jugarlo

    It is true that you'll find a good number of barren wastelands with little to do other than extracting some resources and take off to more interesting places, but again it really depends on how you want to play. There's so much to do, so many systems and abilities to explore, missions to complete, spaceships to loot, and species to catalogue, that I honestly don't think there's anybody who thinks that exploring every square meter of this universe is the better way to enjoy Starfield.

    While it has weak spots and doesn’t push many boundaries, Starfield is still an excellent RPG experience. Bethesda has once again mastered the things it built its reputation on – world building, quest design, and deep customization. However, it’s found new things to excel at too, with exciting combat and a novel implementation of New Game Plus.
