I only played the story mode. And I really liked it. However, it could be better because it needs some polishing at some points, to be honest. Anyways, keep up the good work.

I want to say it again, I am not a fan of multiplayer games. For example, my main focus on Call of Duty games is the campaign. I played the multiplayer modes for about 10 hours. That's because I played with my friends. If my friends don't play multiplayer, I'd probably have played around 1-2 hours top. Anyways, I guess you got my point. I am not a multiplayer person. I like campaign.

Star Wars: Squadrons (XSX) 1/15/21-1/17/21 100% Story 2/5 Stars

Not really my type of game, but it was free to play (and Star Wars) so I gave it a shot.

You take on the roles of two space fighter pilots on both sides of the war. The one in the Stars, you know...Really the story is just an excuse to fly around in a various Rebel and Imperial ships and blow stuff up. There is something about a super weapon and it's pretty cool that Hera from Rebels shows up.
In between each mission you can talk to your crew and even though some of them are fairly interesting and the voice acting is great, there isn't much that held my interest.

Spaceship flying has always been a little difficult for me. This game does it really well, but I still found myself spinning around to try and find a target until I was dizzy. There is also a weird distance thing that constantly made things seem too far away until you speed right past them.

It is a neat idea to play both sides of the conflict. It's not that the game is bad, just not for me.

That pretty much tells me everything I need to know about this title: it is made by people who aren't outside of the box thinkers, they are followers that go with the crowd, and they will deliver a sub par game that may be worth playing for a few days at most. Personally, I am not going to give money to any company that thinks that I am evil because of my skin color. And make no mistake, that is the message going around these days. Funny how "inclusive" and "diverse" are euphemisms for everybody but white men. Utter insanity. Expand

While a great idea in theory, its execution of a Star Wars space fighter game is terrible.
There is no grand campaign or custom sandbox or couch co-op. It's a very short linear game.
The characters are unlikable and certain choices were made with them clearly at the last minute which hurts their development as it feels so unnatural and forced.

Next time let us make our own character.
