Sep 30, 2025I am not saying that Sonic games are back, but I am definitely saying that Sonic racing games are back. This is a game that loves accessible racing and has an adoration for its own franchise. It has elevated each part of what came before, and I don’t think Sonic Racing CrossWorlds can be dismissed as the ‘other kart racing’ game anymore.

Sep 23, 2025Excellent visuals with great performance, vibrant tracks, a technical driving model with quite the skill ceiling, a massive depth and variety, despite the not crazy amount of unique content just quite yet. It may lack a memorable single player portion, and it does have a few minor shortcomings. Rest assured though: Sonic’s latest kart racer is one of the absolute bests the genre has to offer. Its incredible spectacle and high-octane racing slingshots it to the top of the must play kart racers on Xbox, and I’m sure I’ll be revisiting this one for a long time.

Sep 24, 2025Despite a few minor setbacks, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is Sonic Team’s valiant effort to compete in the arcade racer market; when your game contains an abundance of characters, maps, game-modes and mechanics all of the same calibre, it can easily go toe-to-toe with even the Mario Karts of the genre.

Oct 6, 2025Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is an enjoyable, life-enhancing experience that keeps you happy, full of laughter and excitement. It's one of those karting games that hooks you from the start and seems to never end . With the mustachioed guy's permission, we're looking at one of the best games of its kind this year. It's true that it has its flaws, as all games do, but its positive aspects are so many that the bad ones are easily overlooked. This is a title for all types of players, and you can enjoy it alone, with your family, or with others online. It's a highly recommended game that you shouldn't miss if you like the character and this type of experience.

Sep 24, 2025Sonic and co.'s best kart outing to date, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds comes close to achieving Mario Kart levels of fun, with enjoyable drifting and power-up based combat, as well as a neat gimmick in those realm-shifting 'world ring' portals that drop on the track. This is a bright and breezy blast.

Oct 9, 2025We were pleasantly surprised by Sonic Racing Crossworld. We were expecting yet another Mario Kart-like game, but that's not the case at all. Although it uses the same formula, the game brings a certain originality thanks to its varied and entertaining game modes. The Crossworld system brings a freshness to the game with some breathtaking tracks; it's a real success. Whether playing solo or multiplayer, the customisation, accessible content and multi-platform support mean that everyone can have fun. However, we did find it a bit repetitive after a few hours and some parts of the races were a bit messy.
