Ultimately, Neon Blood is a game that is certainly visually and artistically striking. The combination of its pixel art aesthetic with the 3D of the scenarios is sublime and even the plot is interesting , but everything develops too quickly, almost as if the previous ones ceased to be interesting enough. The combats are too simple or plain, and do not offer motivation beyond being another step in the story itself, which could have been improved by adding companions or including a certain strategy in them.

Neon Blood delivers a good mystery set in a well-realised cyberpunk world. The point-and-click gameplay is enjoyable, and the pacing, while occasionally uneven, keeps the narrative moving forward.

Neon Blood was still an enjoyable ride despite the issues listed, mainly again due to that stellar presentation and a tale that, while not exactly original, was executed well (and briefly) enough to keep our interest high throughout.
