In this game, I felt there was just too little 'direction' (for me). The music is nice and fits the sort of desolate atmosphere of the environment, but I did not get much enjoyment of looking in every room and checking every possible door/drawer/etc. and hope I somehow could advance in the game that way. I need a bit more meat to my game than that. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I had such high hopes for this game. Sadly, it's utterly ruined by two major issues. First, you spend the entire experience feeling like your character's feet are mired in mud - it forces you to hold LT at all times just to move around with anything resembling urgency (and your movement really isn't swift even then). Second, unbeknownst to you, you forfeit two Achievements the moment you spend an arbitrary amount of time in the light - sure, you can replay the game once you do know, but given the first major problem I mentioned... why would you slog through it again? +3 for the desolate atmosphere, but without that, In Rays Of The Light would be a solid 1. Disappointing. Expand
