Sep 2, 2024Gory: Cuddly Carnage is cute and a bloody good time. It’s a fast and brutal 3rd-Person action game that excels in its fight and high speed chases. Unfortunately the camera is often fighting against the player which makes some of the later fights exhausting as well as precision platforming unnecessarily difficult. Gori is a lovable protagonist though and thanks to the fast paced levels it won’t get boring despite its technical issues.

Sep 12, 2024Gori is a simple and stupid game, and I love it. I miss titles like this. Sometimes I just want to turn my brain off and kill a bunch of enemies. I feel like so few developers understand that above all, games are supposed to be fun. There is no deep narrative here, no lavish open world, just a handful of hours of carnage, and I couldn’t be happier.

Oct 21, 2024While there are some game breaking bugs and issues and achievements, all of these can be fixed with future updates. While the quantity is limited, the quality is not. It goes without saying that Gori: Cuddly Carnage is one title that delivers a quality story that is full of mind ****s and rewards you for going further down the rabbit hole.

Sep 3, 2024I wanted to like Gori: Cuddly Carnage more than I did, perhaps my hopes were too high. In the end I found the levels too repetitive for my liking and some technical issues soured my mood. There were some fun parts in the platforming and chase sequences but that’s not enough to be able to highly recommend this game to my friends.

Sep 16, 2024While Gori Cuddly Carnage offers a decent longevity and an original idea that could have proved interesting, its desire to be as trashy as possible becomes overkill. As a result, the parody turns into a B-grade production which its redundant and sometimes imprecise gameplay can't save. Maybe we're just not the right audience, maybe we're missing something, but as it stands the game doesn't have a single convincing quality.
