Sep 12, 2024I didn't expect to enjoy Gori: Cuddly Carnage as much as I did but I'm super-happy that I played it and I'm sure you'll be, too.

Aug 27, 2024It’s safe to say that Gori: Cuddly Carnage is a very pleasant surprise. It’s a game that wonderfully balances platforming and thrilling combat, all the while having a cute protagonist who’s easy to fall in love with. Though don’t go thinking this is a game for kids: with buckets of blood, some scary adversaries and lots of foul language, this is strictly for adults whose idea of having a good time is ripping unicorns limb from limb. If you’re a fan of character action games, consider this a must-play.

Aug 27, 2024Gori Cuddly Carnage is a really fun game that offers a decent mix in its levels and challenges. I did play through levels a couple of times because I enjoyed the gameplay and the humour of it. While there are some issues, namely the camera and a couple of platforming bits, overall Gori Cuddly Carnage is a fun, gory, time.

Aug 29, 2024Gori: Cuddly Carnage is a character action game full of blood, swearing and clever ideas, and if that doesn't excite you I don't know what will.
-
Aug 29, 2024Gori: Cuddly Carnage is nasty and even a little ugly, but it's also deeply entertaining and thought-provoking. In no game are you going to be able to control a cyberpunk skater cat killing zombie unicorns, and that's something to keep in mind.

Aug 27, 2024Gori: Cuddly Carnage is a manic action adventure that successfully combines multiple gameplay elements. Traversing the world is a thrill and is accentuated through platform-focused segments. Unfortunately, the basic combat gets tedious due to the lack of depth and repetitive missions. Although that portion is underwhelming, it’s still a chaotic crusade packed with style.

Sep 16, 2024Gori: Cuddly Carnage has the air of an Insomniac game in some ways, but its lack of refinement and rough edges make for a frustrating journey. He’s cute at least, but the incessant chatter from his talking skateboard gets older quicker than Walter Donovan choosing the wrong Grail. The ugly character design and the mean-spirited upgrades make this a tough game to recommend, let alone play for an extended period. The combat is a bit generic but is fun enough. We just don’t see ourselves replaying this lots to unlock everything.
