    Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires is a fantastic hack n slash tactical game. You must spin many plates as you try to conquer each kingdom. Balance your people, food, captains, and battles as you progress across the empire. It's tough, addictive, and brutal as hell.

    Build on the rocky foundation of Dynasty Warriors 9, Dynasty Warriors 9: Empires is inherently flawed, both when it comes to its technical aspects as well as its gameplay variety. With only siege battles throughout the entire campaign, you’d think that the streamlined combat and barebones graphics would be enough to break the game’s back but they didn’t. Dynasty Warriors 9: Empires manages to cleverly link battles, relationships with other officers and empire-management together into an addictive gameplay loop that works despite all its glaring flaws. The game can be a lot of fun, even if pleasure is as guilty as it's always been with the series.

    I don’t know who Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires is for. The base game has a big fan base and the 1 vs 1000 combat is always fun to wade through. That’s no exception here the combat is still as fun as it ever was but unfortunately, the maps all feel the same and that battlefield rarely changes. I can’t get any joy from the strategy element and for me, it sucks a lot of life out of the game for little reward.

    Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires is a title that, if taken in small doses, is absolutely capable of pampering and entertaining the admirers of the saga and of the strategic drift undertaken by the Empires vein. However, its combat system is still too immature and repetitive, especially when compared to the achievements of the licensed musou that Omega Force and Koei Tecmo Games have given us in recent years. Thanks to the dated technical sector and the questionable recycling of equally obsolete assets, we find no reason that can justify the publisher's decision to offer it at full price.

    Summing up Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires is tricky. While the fighting action is as spectacular as it ever was, and still remains fun, the management side of things just seems to slow everything down. It feels like a slog and you’ll want for nothing but the next battle. Basically the battles are good, but the rest of Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires is poor.

    Oh my oh my why didn't anyone told me about this game? I didn't know you could create all these cool looking officers and have so much fun inOh my oh my why didn't anyone told me about this game?     Je vais être clair ... je pense que la plus part des problèmes que je vais cité viennes probablement du moteur qui est en PLS et auquel ilJe vais être clair ... je pense que la plus part des problèmes que je vais cité viennes probablement du moteur qui est en PLS et auquel il manque clairement des fonctions de base...
    Bon pour commencer les plus :
    + Les graphismes sur PC, meme ci le jeu de base est graphiquement a peine respectable, avec quelques Reshades (surtout effet comic et carton avec vibrance et FakeHDR) le jeu devient tout de suite plus agréable bien plus fournis qu'un samurai warriors (dont le preset était censé me rapprocher)
    +Le monde ouvert qui "permettrait" à Omega Force et Tecmo Koei de développer des quêtes annexes permettant d'obtenir des gemmes,de l'or et des rations AUTREMENT que part des menus....
    rendant le jeu potentiellement moins redondant.... le soucis est que je doute de l'ajout sérieux de mise a jour pouvant clairement équilibré ce jeu...
    +Les batailles, bien que la prise de fort est tres mais alors tres mal exploité...bah c'est malgré tout une certaine évolution tres apréciable.

    bon attaquons les moins....

    -Les GRAPHISMES, attention je vais critiquer et surtout m'appuyer sur un fait....un anisotrope potable, un anti aliasing propre permettrait déjà un bien meilleur rendu... Les développeurs font tout a l'arrache ! mais genre tout ! les découpes des maps du monde ouvert pour les batailles les décors etc....
    -Le MOTEUR qui ne possède ni réel simulation de gravité devant creer un nombre d'errerur incalculable empechant une réponse correct tels qu'un cheval qui à la tremblote entre deux rochers ou bien le personnage ne pouvant pas acceder à une surface...
    -LE PATHFINDING, pour ceux ne sachant pas le pathfinding permet à L'IA de se déplacer correctement dans la direction correctement et le plus rapidement possible....la Il est en PLS mais de maniere assez explicite.... demandez à un de vos officiers de poursuivre un officier ennemi, votre adversaire aura le temps de prendre TOUTES les bases avant meme que votre dit général ne l'approche.
    - La cohérance de SIM de bataille, en simple entre une IA perdu et un Pathfinding foiré, vous allez vous retrouvez avec des armées passant les murailles pour vous attaquer ou bien vos hommes se bloqué devant un mur et tous mourir jusqu'au derniers... sans parler de la gestion des bases en batailles ou bien la gestion des affrontements a distances ayant rétrogradé à ceux de dynasty warriors 6 (ou encore babysitter warriors) ....
    -Les fonctionnalités disparues ! à chaque nouvel opus des Warriors Empires, Tecmo implante toujours quelques bonnes idées mais dans un soucis de faire vite et sans polissage, ces nouveautés ce font au déprimant de tant de fonctionnalité de base qui disparaissent ! ( tellement que je ne m'amuserai pas à les énumérées)
    -Jamais un geste pour ses fans, et oui achetez pour 200€ de DLC sur tout les Dynasty warriors, jamais rien de gratuit,meme les DLC précedemment achetées qui seront revendus encore et encore (armure de l'ogre)

    En bref, je suis persuadé que tecmo et omega on de l'or entre les mains, cependant ils ne donnent meme pas le minimum pour satisfaire leur communauté, il manque du polissage d'absolument PARTOUT ! ce qui rend le jeu grisant et sans saveur tres rapidement malgré une incroyable envie d'en refaire une partie en imaginant tout ce qui pourrait être incroyable...
    J'ai de gros doutes quand à de réelles futures mise à jour intéressante.... alors qu'en reprenant des modules et du code de dynasty warriors 9 pour les quetes et le craft coupé à leur autre licence qui est romance of three kingdoms... ce jeu pourrait tout simplement devenir le carton que les fans attendent d'un empîre... Dommage peut etre un jour    … Expand

    This game sucks, I haven't played DW in years but I have fond memories playing on the PS2 that game kicked ass... This however... There's a basic tutorial going over the combat and its kinda neat but really slow and a bit clunky and then you try to start the game and there's a ton of political non-sense... like WTF....... Honestly thank god for gamefly I would be so disappointed if I payed any more than $20 for this game, the last DW style game I played was Hyrule Warriors and that game was awesome. If you have a hack n slash itch I'd recommend that game or the warriors orochi games I have no clue what sort of crack they were smoking to think this was fun or how people can even play this.… Expand
