The game simply does not work and with each patch that is released more of the game stops working. At first after buying the game I could not play multiplayer but I was forgiving because all these triple A multiplayer games have problems in their first week or two. I also could re experience he single player campaigns in HD so I wasn't denied all play. But after patch number 1 I can't even access the single player campaigns. Patch #2 brought longer loading times and hour long sessions for match making, when the multiplayer worked at all but still with a non functional single player option.

This game has been a frustration and a major disappointment. 343 need to remember that their fans have played all these games before and never experienced these massive problems in the past. For these errors to persist is inexcusable. There is simply no apology or justification for releasing an incomplete and broken game. This is a discourtesy to the fans, to the creators of Halo and to 343 as artists. This collection was supposed to celebrate Master Chief and Halo, but all its done is tarnish a brilliant legacy.

Do not buy this game until 6 months have passed and 343 have gotten their act together. The frustration isn't worth it.

Multiplayer does not work whatsoever, so avoid if you're looking for that til they fix it. It was also quite annoying to see Halo 3 dead last in the installation priority, even though all 4 other games were dling at the same time.

Even Halo 4, a game that never lagged on the 360, took several framerate drops in the beginning mission a 360 with an outdated gpu, cpu, and 256mb of ram, ran smoother than the Xbox one did. Halo C.E.A STILL has input lag with the **** synchronous netcode making co-op STILL unplayable. The nightfall series that comes with the game looks like a **** youtube series edited by amateurs. All in all, I give this bundle a 3/10. But I was still able to enjoy the Halo 2A graphics, blur cutscenes, and its story, which brings it up to a 5. Not proud of you 343. Expand

I want to just start this review by saying that anyone who gave this a 5 or below shouldn't review games anymore cause just one of these games alone have just as much or more than half of the games to come out on next-gen this year. But put all 4 halo games ( with 1 and 2 allowing you to switch between graphics) over 100 maps ( including dlc, pc exclusive, and remastered) , the new improved forge mode for halo 2, the halo 5 beta, and the halo channel with exclusive halo content like nightfall for just the price for a single like destiny or titanfall and this is easily a great deal that both non and true halo fans can both appreciate. For halo 1 and 2 anniversary campaigns, you switch between the old and new graphics ( now instant ) while it still keeps to the feel of the classics and the new blur cutscenes in 2 are just incredible. Halo 2 also comes with 6 fan favorite maps remastered and the multiplayer for anniversary is given a modern touch that not only still keeps the same feel as the original but with added weapons, maps triggers, and vehicles, feels like a fresh and new game almost. And if your not crazy about change you can always stick to the classics. Speaking of classics, halos 1,3,&4 run at 1080p and all games run at 60fps and I must say, while it sounds just like a scam, after returning to halo 4 on 360 after playing on one, its clear that once you play halo on next-gen, you won't want to return to 360 as the games feel smoother and even look slightly nice. He'll halo 4 almost looks like a next-gen game. And whats even cooler is you can set your controls to transfer to all 4 games so you dont get confussed when switching. As for forge its better than ever. With all the new features from creating your own terrain hills and valleys, using blank skybox maps as a empty canvas, switches that can do things like open doors, spawn objects, trigger explosions, and so much more, this has got to be the greatest forge ever and I hope they put even more in halo 5. Now if you haven't noticed, it might seem like I'm more selling this game than reviewing and that's only because this is such an enormous steal, but it isn't 100% perfect. For customization, instead of unlocking armors, they are all given to you and you can't mix and match armor which does kill a little variety as well as progression, but more importantly, even though playing the multiplayer itself is a blast, waiting for a game is a pain in the ass. Games usually took from 5 to as long as 30 minutes and few times the game disconnected, imbalanced teams were made, and even one time all four people in a group were all put on the same team. However, that was more towards launch and 343 has been putting effort to fix it by temporarily removing some playlists to boost find games as we as updates. I mean when you have 4 games with engines from 2001,2004,2007,2012,& 2014 running on one server, your probably going to have problems, but it isn't that bad as I've gotten in plenty of matches and at least characters faces aren't melting off like in ac unity. Any way with that despite some annoying server issues and a step back in customization options, this is easily a must buy and not even just for halo fans. You get this and Xbox one and your set for the whole year. 343 clearly cares for the halo community and even though they could have simply released halo 2 anniversary as its own thing they decided to give us the whole dam series, all polished like a DVD to blu-ray collection. Halo made me the gamer I am today and it will always be my favorite series and with this it might even bring back some oldfans as well as make some new ones as it has enough for the new crowd and the veterans. HALO MCC gets a 9.5 out of 10!

So on that note, if you're like the majority of us and have been waiting for months upon months for a chance to play Halo on Xbox Live again (especially on a next-gen console). DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. It's an absolute joke - 343 has dropped the ball so badly on every level that it's almost sad. None of the patches they've released has made any difference whatsoever for me nor any of my friends. The last one made it noticeably worse. The game launched two weeks ago and there has been little-to-no improvements. Only a continuing spew of excuses from 343 and no timetable on when (or if) things will be fixed.

I highly advise not wasting your money on half a game. An incomplete one if that. Farcry 4, Assasin's Creed Unity and GTA V (XBO) are all out now so you have the luxury of not wasting $60 on this pathetic excuse for a product.

Halo 1 and 2 remastered to witness the legend of the Master Chief in spectacular graphics that will take your breath away in various locations. The story is in no way complex but truly epic.

The MP features over a hundred maps from all 4 games. Unfortunately the game's online Matchmaking system has been a major negative. The game would be a "10" if online were playable with unfortunate long lengths of waiting to get into a match. Sometimes matches disconnect for no reason or will start with uneven players on each team. Still, the Customs offer for much MP satisfaction if teaming up with friends. Forge mode and Theater of course make their return.

The game also comes with a mini-tv series of Halo:Nightfall, a live action story bridging Halo 4 to Halo 5 when it releases next year. And finally, the game comes with Beta access to Halo 5 online MP.

The game is packed with content and delivers is many ways. It's a must own for most as the story and MP offer so much. However it has troubles with online MP and it hurts the score from the perfect "10". If the developer, 343 Industries, can correct the problem and have it running flawlessly then the game cannot be missed for gamers. Until then, it's an 8.

Ill stick with the campaign but why release a game that is essentially 50%? I would have happily waited another 3 months for a game that worked. Soooooo... Where do I start? Well, first of all, I have been an avid Halo player since Halo 2 (my absolute favorite fps of all time), and this is genuinely the first review i have ever taken the time to write for a game, but I feel this is necessary. To say the least, this game is EXTREMELY BROKEN!

    1. Navigating menu's is a challenge. It's definitely manageable, but not user-friendly in the least. Often times the menu will even glitch and there will be several overlays overlapping and making it even more difficult. Also, the game crashes on occasion.

    2. Matchmaking is still broken a whole week later, with random queue times usually lasting longer than any actual match you may get into. Honestly, the entire multiplayer is broken. Having friends join your party is even difficult due to the glitchy social system in the game.

    3. Back to the multiplayer.... If I wanted to play a screwed up, glitchy version of Halo, at this point, I think I would have rather preferred to play the original Halo 2, where the glitches were at least enjoyable! You all can forget super bouncing (for the most part... you can still do it, but not nearly in the same manner as before as it is much, much more difficult), swordflying, and almost all the other fun glitches.

    4. So, from what i have covered, we are pretty much left with campaign and forge. Now I havent completed the entire campaign, but as far as i can tell, it is pretty much what it is, Halo: CE --> Halo 4. I enjoy the campaign, but I sure as hell did not pay $60 to play by myself through it and call the game good. Campaign can only entertain for so long...

    5. As for forge, I will be honest; this is by far the best forge in any Halo yet, but what do you know? Its broken as well. Saving maps is a hassle in itself. You press "Save as" and it doesn't even let you name it, it just throws it in your list of saved maps as the original title, forcing you to seek out your creations by date, and that's if yore lucky! Just recently i spent nearly an hour and a half working on a map, and come save time, I press "Save as" and receive no prompt to name it as usual, but i also don't get a message saying the map was even saved. As i expected, my hard work was for nothing, and for someone who forges as much as I do, this is VERY frustrating.

To come to a conclusion: I am so bewildered how this game has received so may positive scores... It was released in a incomplete form, and for such a large franchise, it is incredibly disappointing. If you want the game for the campaign and nightfall series, sure, go right ahead and drop your money on this, but don't look forward to any of the other Halo experiences (at least not for a while.) I wish so bad that I could give this "game" a zero rating, but I can't disrespect one of my favorite games growing up. My advice to all of you interested: Wait this one out. They are bound to fix all this trash eventually, and hopefully the game will improve, but at this point I am quite unsatisfied.

P.S. I am unsure if i covered everything, I am just pointing out the major issues iv'e been experiencing thus far.

You should note that Microsoft's PR team is responsible for the higher than average User Score ratings on all Microsoft games. It costs them very little to create multiple Metacritic accounts just to boost ratings.

The Halo 1 campaign left me feeling bitter. They hardly did anything at all to it. Visually, it looks like a very old Xbox 360 game, not what you'd expect for an Xbox One game at all.

The Halo 2 campaign was great. The cut scenes were magnificent, and very well done, particularly the Gravemind cut scene. Unfortunately the rest of the gameplay wasn't what you would expect for a remastered game on the Xbox One, but the cut scenes made up for it.

Halo 3 campaign was just a slap in the face. They did absolutely nothing to it. Halo 3 came out 7 years ago. Why on earth did Microsoft think they'd be able to get away without retouching this game? I found myself feeling so disinterested, especially after playing the touched up Halo 2.

Halo 4, this is where 343 took over the franchise. I had never played Halo 4 before, but when I played this game, I could hardly believe this was originally an Xbox 360 game. Sure, there were some frame-rate issues, but that didn't take away from the game. Loads of new vehicles and weapons had me feeling excited the whole way through.

Multiplayer never worked, and still doesn't work. It'll take ages to matchmake, just to put you in terrible games (like 2v2, or 5v3). 90% of the time it will just kick you anyway, and I have great internet, so it's not on my end.

This game was infected with glitches. Hard crashes would cause you to restart the game. You'd see weapons spinning in circles on a wall (minor). Save files would get wiped out and you'd need to restart certain missions. This just to name a few.

My conclusion is, don't buy this game if you're strapped for cash. There are better games on the market, and there are even better games coming to market. This is a console exclusive, designed to compete with PS4 console exclusives like Uncharted 4, The Last Of Us, and Order Of 1886. I can definitely tell you that Titanfall, Forza, and Halo do not compete well with PS4. Microsoft didn't step up, they didn't do their job, and I wish I bought a PS4.

In it's current state the game is highly unplayable if you care at all about online multiplayer. Even if you just want to do co op campaign with a friend I have bad news for you. Halo 1 and 2 co op has about 1 second of input delay for whoever isn't host. With Halo 3 the lag and framerate is just unbearable. Halo really deserves better than this.

To say I have rose colored glasses for the series is an understatement, I basically taped pink construction paper on my face and ringed the TV with bloody Christmas lights. I loved Halo CE, Halo 2, Halo 3, Reach, Halo 4, and even sort of enjoyed that god-awful top down RTS spinoff.

343, this is a godawful way to release your game, did you test it at all? was the port done by rabid STD riddled half rat-half monkeys?

-Terminals which provided interesting story tidbits in Halo CE remastered now require me to install, update and boot another app to view. Why? every time I press a terminal I get a jarring, immersion breaking transition to an app I can't be bothered to use, the transition is cumbersome and poorly thought out.
-Matchmaking is broken. broken is an understatement, if I were to personify the matchmaking service it would appear as a lobotomized Neanderthal suffering from the black death and colon cancer. It can take up to 20 minutes to find a match, and when matches are found they are always unbalanced with one team given more players(and more skilled players) while the other is stuck with newbs and less players.
-The campaign save feature is broken, after completing the ENTIRE halo 2 campaign on heroic I have a total of 0 missions completed, and a sticker on my account saying I've never even tried it. then after playing 2 missions of halo 3 on legendary I have no record of that either. Was the save file system designed by someone repeatedly bashing they're skull in on a keyboard until they die of internal hemorrhaging?
-Achievements don't pop, and sometimes don't even unlock. Admittedly this may be the Xbox one live teams fault, so I won't come up with a witty comparison to shame the hapless developers.
-In halo 2 the enemy and friendly AI fails a shameless amount, with NPC's suddenly freezing on the spot lowering their weapons and staring blank eyed into what I can only assume is their own internal hell from which there is no escape.
-Graphical update is good but disappointing.
    +the cut-scene remasters are beautiful.

I started off playing single player halo 2 anniversary and was initially very impressed, but the feeling did not last long. I played around with the ability to switch from old to new graphics. Seemed cool at first, but there is one glaring flaw. If you switch modes during a cut scene you will end up terribly out of sync and miss parts of the scene altogether. The new cut scenes are indeed impressive, but why include the ability to switch graphics if it clearly isn't going to sync up.

    Moving onward.

I made it through the first 2 chapters on heroic difficulty. Started the third chapter got about halfway through and saved my game. I came back later and it started me at the beginning of chapter 3. Needless to say I was not pleased to have to start over.

    Campaign:
    Pros:
    Graphics are nice
All levels unlocked at the start

    Cons:
Issues with checkpoint saves, having to start over.
Issues with H2 anniversary switching modes during cut scenes.
    Issues with achievements not unlocking

Now on to multiplayer. I was not able to attempt multiplayer on release day due to the huge 15GB update. Call me silly but I still think games on consoles should just run right off the bat without lengthy install times. If I want that experience I will do so on PC. PC installers are also 10x faster.

11/12/2014 I attempted to find a match in halo 2 classic. I waited hours and nothing happened!! I tried numerous match types/lobbies and never got anything. Very disappointing and frustrating.

11/13/2014 Attempted to find a match in halo 2 classic. After about 10 minutes it put me into a H2 Anniversary map against an outnumbered overpowered team. 4v2 Why wasn't it 3v3!?!?
I tried another search and it took just as long. Finally got into halo 2 classic match and... LAG, lag everywhere.
Tried yet again in Halo 3. Took another 5-8 minutes to find players. The match started and there was initially lots of lag, but it got better as the game went on.
Throughout all these sessions it was clear that there is no ranking whatsoever. So matches where terribly unbalanced and therefore not very fun.

    Multiplayer
    Pros: None
    Cons:
    No ranking
Horrible wait times to get a match
    Unbalanced teams
    Lag

I would not expect this from a game I paid $63 for. I feel cheated and screwed over. This was clearly just a money grab from Microsoft. It I want to experience some classic halo I guess I will stick to Halo 2 Vista on PC and Halo 3 on Xbox360. This is not worth anyone’s purchase.

The only gripes I have with it are the matchmaking issues which they are currently working on a fix. Also none of the playlists are ranked, except the first one. I also don't like the ranking system, how you can actually go down a rank depending on how much you lose. I prefer the Halo 4 experience bar system. There could be more armor options as well.

As a lot of people have stated the matchmaking has to be fixed as you can be waiting a long time to find a game. Also i have experienced a drop in FPS a couple of times (but this happens on most games at some point). And the game does take a lot of space on your hard drive.

Complete and utter failure. Game is broken and unplayable. The matchmaking is not what we've become accustomed to with what we had in Halo games by Bungie. 343i is a disgrace.

Couldn't have asked for more in an anniversary edition of halo 2. This is the best bundle since valve's orange box. The only pitfall is the number of bugs that exist at launch. However, that is expected given the size (approximately 60Gb) of content that you are getting. You are getting 1Gb/$1, that is insane!

Halo with the Anniversary edition and Halo 2, which was done for this release. Not to mention, over 100 multi-player maps, many of which have also been updated, and the Halo Nightfall series. The sheer amount of single player and multi-player content included here is absolutely mind numbing. Best of all, its just $60 (I only paid $48 through Best Buy's Gamer Club). MS could have easily charged $50-60 bucks just for the Halo 2 update. Again, in all my years of gaming I have never seen a better deal than the Master Chief Collection.

How any Halo fan can say no to this package is utterly beyond my comprehension! If I could give this game an 11 out of 10, I would. As for myself, the long road to 100% completion is already well underway! Thank you Microsoft and 343 studios!!

Now, the Master Chief Collection is a incredible game (games) and the interface is amazing, very user friendly, but the multiplayer is lacking, and by lacking i mean it doesn't work at all. After getting home from midnight launch and having to do a 15 update on the game i was expecting a flawless experience, but i had my hopes too high, sitting in a lobby searching for upto an hour at a time only to be given an error message, a few times it put me into lobbies but half of the time i would get kicked before the game even started and be given a message telling me ive lost connection to the game. The other half of the time when i make it into a game, its always full of latency, lagging around the map, connection dropping out and being kicked etc. But the bugs and such don't stop there, the campaign in full of glitches, enemies de-spawn, objects pop in and out of the game, rendering issues, frame-rate drops and stuttering. Although i had a great time playing through the games my experience was somewhat ruined by the constant bugs that made themselves present throughout. There is a lot wrong with this game, but also a lot right with it too, a must have for any fan of the franchise, but beware of the bugs, if you plan on buying for mainly the multiplayer i would suggest you wait a few days at least until the servers are fixed and the bugs are patched. Four amazing shooters for the price of one, unfortunately the overall package is bugged.

I really enjoy the actual game play and playing Single player or Co-op campaigns is awesome fun. I highly recommend the actual playing part.

The game has a large number of issues that you may or may not have experienced.
Achievements - When I was playing thru the campaign of Halo one, for the first three levels I received the proper achievements. the game saved my progress. after the third mission I stopped getting achievements. after mission 6 I tried to bring up snap the achievements up. they would not load. I saved and exited the game and went back to it after an hour or so and discovered that none of my progress saved. looking on the mission select screen it also said I completed missions I had not yet done and had not completed missions I had done.

I still could not access my achievements for this game or in general. just a message saying "something went wrong". I could not get achievements or look at achievement fora number of hours. After trying many other games and trying to access my achievements I was able to get them fixed eventually. But the MCC not only broke them for itself but all my other games as well for a number of hours. Did not track progress properly and did not save properly. The game not saving progress properly is not that big of a deal since you can select any mission on any game to play.

Also I had the Halo channel app install but none of the terminals videos would play, they would just show the halo channel application load, welcome me back and then show me a black screen until I exited the application and went back to the MCC game. Un-paused and continue to play. (I was happy that the game automatically paused for me, As I was half expecting it to have continued to play with out me)

I also tried to play multiplayer and see the redone halo 2 maps, after 20 minutes of not finding a game or any players, I gave up and played a halo 4 multiplayer game. I find it hard to believe that I was the only person in western Canada/USA that wanted to play the new remade maps in the middle of the evening. I also found the way the lay out of the various menus for multi-player to be really odd and not user friendly.

Due to all of the problems I had plus all of the problems I have heard other people having I have to rate this game a 5/10. Hopefully they can patch some fixes to make this the 10/10 it should have been.

Halo The Master Chief Collection is a package of a great franchise that graced us two console generations ago, anybody expecting anything extremely new you will be disappointed this collection is mainly for hardcore Halo fans looking for a polished Halo collection, and 1080p 60fps and high resolution textures and shadows bringing in the polish while also welcoming newcomers. Just for scope and scale alone this package is a great buy, and the loving attention this collection has received is breathtaking, 4 Halo games remastered and polished, Halo TV mini series and the Halo 5 multiplayer beta and lots of other little goodies, just amazing switching between Halo games is effortless and the menus are easy to navigate in general. So aside from a few performance problems here and there, like drops in frame rate sometimes when saving or loading(which will most likely be patched out) this collection is a great blast from the past experience and lets us know again why we all loved Halo back in the day. So if you have already played all 4 Halo games and are not an avid fan of Halo i would wait a while until you have some spare cash and want to delve into this collection at a later time, but if you haven't played any of the Halo games before you will be in for a treat, the content in this collection will keep you entertained for many months, and the story!, there is no other like it!, for hardcore Halo fans? i don 't think i need to say a word, they are already playing this amazing collection of the best sci fi first person shooter franchise ever to grace a console thus far.

Once again we have another halo released by 343 with a broken matchmaking system....
I was disappointed with their incompetence to fix the lag fest of halo 4 multiplayer, but lets not get into
    that shall we...

The 3 rating mainly goes for the companies 343 and microsoft.
Don't release an unfinished game anymore your console depends on it.

I almost considered getting an xbox one after being excited.

Luckily for me I went to a friends house who has an xbone and "tried" to play matchmaking.
Lets just say upon launch we were barely getting a match per hour and the sad part is it was small teams of 2v2 and other nonsense. Then there were maps where it couldn't render textures and was all white with lines everywhere.

This game is full of bugs and glitches and LAG!!!!. I mean honestly if you are a halo fan then you have already beaten the 4 games already and want to see what matchmaking has to offer, which is nothing at the moment.

There's also a glitch where you can boot a member from the opposing team.... wow!!!

Once again I have lost interest in buying an xbone.

I know there are a lot of people saying "don't worry they are fixing it".
However like Ron White said "you can't fix stupid", and this my friends is 343 and microsoft being stupid.

I am sick of games these days coming out that are broken and or unfinished products and we have to be stuck waiting for several patches to download while the rest of the game is sold as DLC.

You would think after all the hate that Microsoft received after their xbone reveal that they would be nothing but a perfectionist upon releasing their games.

I would only expect this much incompetence from EA games.

Also didn't they say something about 300,000 servers for xbox one or some large number of the sort?
They all must've taken the day off or are very lazy or maybe their not paid enough like all jobs these days so they do a half asked job.

So yeah great job on the graphics, but shame on you for the broken day one matchmaking.

Do you realize how many people took the day off their job or even called in just to have a day for this?
If my beloved halo isn't dead yet then I will say this game is now on life support.

CODAW worked fine for my friend and I on day one AT MIDNIGHT!!!
Mario Kart 8 worked perfect for me the day one of release!
BUT FOR SOME REASON THE BIG FREAKING COMPANY KNOWN AS MICROSOFT CAN'T EVEN GET THEIR MOST POPULAR CONSOLE SELLING GAME TO WORK MATCHMAKING ON DAY FREAKING ONE!!!!!!!!

    Shame shame shame on you.

You better be kissing your consumers butts and giving out some great free stuff for those who suffered.

If I would've bought this game and an xbone the day of release I would've taken it back and got my money back and used it to buy a nice bottle of scotch because atleast i wouldn't have been let down by the scotch's characteristics compared to those of the ignorance and incompetence of the 2 companies. When you spend 60 dollars on a game and in some cases 400 dollars for a console that day and take the day off work/call in which also means more money spent then a game should work without a doubt. Quit releasing broken games and letting the patches do the rest of the work. Maybe learn from Nintendo and postpone the game if its not entirely finished. So anyways..... if you love Halo then yes get the game, but I would wait till the price went down. These companies don't deserve the price they're asking for if they are just going to half ask job it and expect us to wait for patches

I understand the makers not wanting the players to have to jump between two discs and I appreciate their desire to create a uniform experience but I was stoked to pick up the game on the way home from work and sorely disappointed that I had to wait so long for game to download in order to play. Yes, it was nice that I could play H1 while the rest downloaded but still, I shouldn't have to wait HOURS after purchasing it at retail in order to play.

As for the individual games themselves, they look amazing and play very well. I didn't run into any framerate slowdown or weird visual issues like tearing or skipping. I can say honestly that the remastered version of Halo 2 would have been worth the price of admission so getting all four games as well as 100 or so multiplayer maps makes for a very worthwhile purchase.

Yes, I don’t know how but 343 managed to make Halo 2 anniversary’s network as bad as Halo 2 did 10 years ago. While the network issues aren’t quite as bad as Betafield… I mean, Battlefield 4’s, it’s not the best. Thankfully, they’ve promised a patch to be released on 13th November, just two days after launch, which will fix the reported network problems. Given this, I'm disregarding them in my score.

If you are tired of the current FPS games and all the ‘Modern Military Shooters’ that are floating around now, grab Halo. Is it dated in some ways? Definitely, but in others that’s just a breath of fresh air in the stuffy environment created by companies rehashing the same story several dozen times and releasing it under a different name (I’m looking at you, Activision). Surprisingly, Halo holds up brilliantly and puts most of our modern FPS games to shame

Im not sure how everyone keeps giving the game a 10. Matchmaking is pointless you can watch paint dry and be more thrilled. This is Halo Master Cheif Collection. Not the original 1,2, 3 or 4. Im writing a review for this game not those. I waited for the midnight realese and still cant play a game. Nba 2k got bad reviews and rightfully so for its bad server connections. These new gen games are failing us and we are paying outrageous amounts for all this. Im not even willing to change my rating once its fixed. You just made millions of dollars for this game. THIS IS AWESOME! If you're going to get one game this christmas season, make it this one. I'm having an absolute blast playing through Halo 1 and 2 again! I'll have probably finished the campaign (legendary) by the weekend. So far it is just jawdropping. I've managed to get onto the multiplayer now as well, (its working properly for me now) and that is just where this community shines. I've already come across mindblowing forge creations and have had epic games of Coagulation BTB, among others. :) Seriously, this is a goldmine of some of the best games of the last decade. I've started from Halo 1 and going forward. The game is amazing. Even that it's older games with a new face, I think it worth it, since I didn't played Halo 1 and 2. The story is solid and of course, you have to keep in mind that this is a game from 13 years ago, so don't create cinematic expectations to that version. On the other hand, halo 2, 3 and 4 it's just like a movie.

Even though of the network problems and a few bugs that 343i is currently dealing with. Remember you have 4 campaigns to play 2 of them being completely remastered for the Xbox One. The network problems will be fixed in the next few hours/days depending how fast they work. So just wait for the online to work and then it will be the ultimate Halo experience

At the moment I give the game

At the moment I give the game a 7/10 for the campaigns but what makes it not a 10 is the technical problems with getting online etc which is a main feature of the game. When they get the online working it will be a 10/10

Most frustrating gaming experience ever. Took forever to install. Many of the original mechanics are broken such as crouch jumping in halo 1. Matchmaking just doesn't work. Can't they figure this out with a closed beta??

This person Davekeeh is nothing but a troll do not listen to a word any of this people say they just read message boards saying MP is down and post on here. Any ways this game is amazing a true remaster a bench mark all games should achieve.

Excellent collection of some of the greatest games of the past 2 gaming generations. The best part of this whole collection is that all 4 games are remastered in 60fps, which make a huge difference. Some people might complain about the massive install size, but it just proves how much content you're really getting for your money.

Was surprised at how fun Halo CE's campaign is at Heroic. But doing legendary without the magnum is the most frustrating thing ever. 10/10.

Oh, and H2A and H3 multiplayer is uber good.

Utterly broken right now, but the central appeal of four Halos on one disc is irresistible. [Issue#257, p.54]

A bit of a disaster...Why? It's a half-assed, crudely cobbled-together product prone to crashing, lockups (and as of press time) absolutely non-functional multiplayer.

The problems with the multiplayer modes of the game are still there, but you can't overlook the greatness of the 4 games this package offers.
