    The MasterChief Collection was all I wanted. Replay old memories with new graphics and sound effects. The new cinematics really adds up to the game. Plus, you have all 3 other games with it. It's a very good deal overall for only 60$. It's a must have for your game collection on your xbox one.

    The only thing negative things are maybe loading that are too long, sometimes some FPS drop    The MasterChief Collection was all I wanted.     4 legendary games, 1 beta for halo 5, 100 multiplayer maps and halo nightfall series, this is just too much for only 60 bucks.
    freaking 10 out of 10 because of the value for the money.

    This collection is a love-letter to these astonishing games. The mere amount of content blew my mind.     The redone Halo 2 cutscenes look beautiful and it was a pleasure to play through the campaign again. For that alone and the multiplayer (which features more then a hundred maps!) halo-veterans probably would enjoy this collection.
    I also recommend this collection to anyone who has not yet played any Halo game and is looking for a way to change that.    … Expand

    Not sure how velvetmeds can be allowed to vote on something he does not have, all of his reviews for xbox have been 0 and PS4 have been high. He gives Forza a 0 and Driveclub a 10....

    You really gotta laugh at the kids giving this 0. This is the definitive halo experience so tastefully done that I almost can't believe it. I'm in love all over again. Hours of well packed content ahead of me... I am as giddy as I was when I first played halo. thankyou 343i, for treating my favorite franchise with such respect.

    I just played 2 hours or so of Halo 2 and...how can you not love this collection? This is how remakes should be done, there are 4 full great games and multiplayer content for life. This is a must have for any gamer!

    This game contains halo reach , halo 1, halo 2 ,3 ODST , and halo 4 with majority of the games remastered and updated graphics . Games play smoothly and delivers the same great action as halo always has 10 out of 10

    I played halo the master chief collection on pc and Xbox , this collection have 6 amazing halo game and specially halo reach is my favorite halo game of all time :)

    I love Halo but at first this game sucked because it was broken but now that they fixed it. it is one of my favorites a must play for a die hard Halo fan or new player

    best memories ever made, can't leave a better smile on my face. With the most discusting multiplayer problems i still found 10/10 for its efforts in the storyline, like come on lets be realistic, 4 games is for sure worth the 60 bucks. If you don't like this game then your seriously not the right taste in a quality video game.

    The game is great after the the matchmaking issues have been resolved. Going back to halo 3 with all of the maps feels amazing. your getting four games for 60 bucks i say it is completely worth the money. Something that has keeps this from becoming a perfect game is how they only remade 6 multiplayer maps from halo 2. If there not going to be making any new content the least they can do isThe game is great after the the matchmaking issues have been resolved.     This is a great deal for the price, every single game in the collection are very good & worthy of a play through & the remastered graphics make it that much better but the multi-player was a little disappointing so I couldn't give it a perfect score but when they patch the multi-player the game will definitely be a 10

    The Master Chief collections is a great Deal, but it suffers from one thing, and that is the Server Bugs. Right now most of it is gone but there is still a great majority of bugs. There is not many game bugs, mostly server issues.

    If you were able to get into a multiplayer match the game is really good.     The Campaign was fun to go through, the terminals gave up a lot of story, the Cutscenes were great though they are pre rendered. I got so much nostalgia playing through the game, Halo 1 multiplayer was the best thing.

    Does it deserve a 10/10? Until the multiplayer is fixed no.

We are reviewing the full game not what it is now. even though i am a bit frustrated with this setback Wednesday a "fix" is coming so i look forward to that. I find this game very nice.     Does Halo MCC deserve a ten out of ten? No. But does it deserve any rating under a 5? Hell no. 343 has it's goods and bads, but MCC is GOOD, REALLY GOOD. The graphic overhaul on Halo CE makes the game totally playable again, I hardly felt like I was playing an outdated game. Halo 2 is absolutely beautiful and clean. Does Multiplayer suck right now? Oh yeah. It really does. But lets notDoes Halo MCC deserve a ten out of ten? No. But does it deserve any rating under a 5? Hell no. 343 has it's goods and bads, but MCC is GOOD, REALLY GOOD. If you are a fan of the series then you obviously won't miss it but if you aren't then I encourage you to go get this right now!! You have 4 of the best campaigns anyone could ask for and multiplayer that never gets old! Seriously there is just so much content here it's ridiculous! The only thing wrong withOne of the best gaming deals out there right now is The Master Chief Collection!! If you are a fan of the series then you obviously won't miss it but if you aren't then I encourage you to go get this right now!!     In all honesty, I consider this to be the single best deal in the entire history of gaming and I have been a gamer since Atari first released its Pong home console back in the late 70's. 4 amazing games all running in 1080p 60fps, 2 of which have been completely redone from the ground up. Halo with the Anniversary edition and Halo 2, which was done for this release. Not to mention, overIn all honesty, I consider this to be the single best deal in the entire history of gaming and I have been a gamer since Atari first released its Pong home console back in the late 70's. 4 amazing games all running in 1080p 60fps, 2 of which have been completely redone from the ground up. MS could have easily charged $50-60 bucks just for the Halo 2 update. Again, in all my years of gaming I have never seen a better deal than the Master Chief Collection.

    jogo excelente, nao tem como da nota menor que 10, são 4 jogos em 1, porem o halo channel tem diversas linguas, e quase nada de portugues o que é deploravel, mais como estou analisando os 4 jogos, não tem como dar menos que 10 para o jogo, que ta com uma qualidade incrivel .

    I've started from Halo 1 and going forward. The game is amazing. Even that it's older games with a new face, I think it worth it, since I didn't played Halo 1 and 2. The story is solid and of course, you have to keep in mind that this is a game from 13 years ago, so don't create cinematic expectations to that version. On the other hand, halo 2, 3 and 4 it's just like a movie.

    Was surprised at how fun Halo CE's campaign is at Heroic. But doing legendary without the magnum is the most frustrating thing ever. 10/10.

    Oh, and H2A and H3 multiplayer is uber good.

It's unfortunate the matchmaking is having issues, but making custom games with 6-7 other friends is an absolute blast and reminded me how much fun online will be once it's up andHaving so much fun with this game. All the LAN parties that took place were amazing! Halo 2 brought xbox live and I played online so much I never got to play the campaign before some moron stole my disc...

    Halo 2 on this disc looks amazing! The lighting, graphics and character movement look stellar!!! I havent even seen Halo 3 or 4 yet so thats for later.
    343 did a great job organizing this game. One may get overwhelmed if they didnt do it right but they did it perfect! Nothing has changed in these games and back when they were originally released, I think the lowest score they got was a 9 or 9.5 and thats why I am giving it a 10. Its got the same great game play we have all grown to love with Halo, it looks 10x better, its smooth and now every game is online... Perfect 10 for me.    … Expand

    I wish I could give it a 9.9/10. Everything about it is absolutely glorious, with the exception of some of the remastered sounds in the Halo 2A campaign. I just miss the old sounds of things like the SMG, Sniper, Ghost and some stuff like that. Its only a tiny detail, but options in the menu for that would be awesome (even if they might be unnecessary)

I'll have probably finished the campaign (legendary) by the weekend. So far it is just jawdropping.     Halo: MCC is an excellent game. You get hours upon hours of content for such a small price, not only that you get access to the upcoming Halo 5 beta which is a prize in itself. If you love Halo then purchase this, you will not be disappointed.

    Yes, I don’t know how but 343 managed to make Halo 2 anniversary’s network as bad as Halo 2 did 10 years ago. While the network issues aren’t quite as bad as Betafield… I mean, Battlefield 4’s, it’s not the best. Thankfully, they’ve promised a patch to be released on 13th November, just two days after launch, which will fix the reported network problems. Given this, I'm disregarding them in my score.

    If you are tired of the current FPS games and all the ‘Modern Military Shooters’ that are floating around now, grab Halo. Is it dated in some ways? Definitely, but in others that’s just a breath of fresh air in the stuffy environment created by companies rehashing the same story several dozen times and releasing it under a different name (I’m looking at you, Activision). Surprisingly, Halo holds up brilliantly and puts most of our modern FPS games to shame    … Expand

    Couldn't have asked for more in an anniversary edition of halo 2. This is the best bundle since valve's orange box. The only pitfall is the number of bugs that exist at launch. However, that is expected given the size (approximately 60Gb) of content that you are getting. You are getting 1Gb/$1, that is insane!

    Halo 2A campaign alone is worth the $60. The graphics are beautiful, and the story is top notch. Gameplay aged extremely well. The other 3 campaigns and the multiplayer are just icing on the cake. Hopefully 343 can fix the Matchmaking ASAP though

    But halo is nothing without multiplayer, I will admit, I was very frustrated with the multiplayer being broken so long after launch, but since that time I have enjoyed hundreds of extremely fun online games.

    For example being able to go back and play Halo 1 online as it was meant to be played was a very rewarding experience and really took me back to my childhood.

    It should also be noted that the Master Chief Collection has also gained Spartan Ops since launch which featured in Halo 4.

    All in all one of the most generous and well put together bundles in the history of gaming and I'd also like to give props to 343 for rewarding us with Halo ODST later this year for our troubles, one of my favorite games of the Franchise and I very much look forward to it.    … Expand

    best remaster ever!!!true there are problems with matchmaking but over all as of December it has improved, so I give this game a 10 out of 10. halo 4 looks better then ever and halo 2 looks amazing !!!

    for any die hard halo fan, this is the reason to own an x box one. 4 amazing games, over 100 multiplayer maps, a halo 5 beta, and halo night fall. a movie directed by ridley scott that is released in episodes which bridges the said movie into halo 5.all for the price of one game. halo 2 anniversary is the star of this package.

    The campaigns are great and the things they added to Halo 2 are awesome (especially the new sounds) although the graphics aren't so amazing that they will blow your mind.     Multiplayer is AMAZING when it works. After the last patch, matches have been much easier to find although it can still be somewhat slow at times. There is also a small number of playlists but 343 has stated that they will be adding more when they have fixed the bugs in the game.

    Yes the online multiplayer is not working as it should be, but there is a lot of content for the price. All the local multiplayer you want is there and working fine. This is a great compilation and you can find it at a good price now.

    This game is insane... the graphics are just breathtaking. The side clips in between missions look like they aren't even animated. I believe most of the bugs are fixed, so it runs well. If you have ever played halo, then this is a game for you. Words do not describe its optical advancement showing us the real potential of these consoles.

The story of Halo 4 is excellent, most notably the moments with Master Chief and Cortana where their chemistry is like no other. The multiplayer is a huge aspect of Halo. Yes, it had issues at launch but now there's no problems with finding games. The game finding system is great because there are many modes and categories to choose from. The only complaint I have with the online game modes is that there's no classic "Grift Ball," I loved that game. New graphics and videos are included. The more players there are 100 routes or segments. However, in the beginning it was very bad for the multiplayer part, because we had to wait a long time for a game.

    This is 4 games in 1 so it's already a better deal than the Orange Box. The installing takes days but when that painfull process is done you can enjoy all the games as you remembered them. And the remastery of halo 2 is far greater than what they did with halo 1. Epic in scale

    The focus of gameplay for me was jumping back into split screen campaign mode for the remastered Halo CE and Halo 2. This did not disappoint in this area. Would I purchase a remastered HALO CE and Halo 2 for single player probably not, if you missed the 360 releases getting Halo 3 / 4 is a good. Experienced crashing even after massive updates approximately 1 per play through the campaigns.

If you want a game where you can sit back and unload mountains of bulletts into random creatures and have a laugh doing so then this is a game for you.

I love it. I can't wait for Halo 5.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This was my first game ever on the original Xbox console. Loved it to bits. The second HALO was good but I was losing interest in games. When I got my xbox360 I never realy bothered with HALO 3 and by the time HALO 4 came out I had lost interest again in gaming. I never playedthe multiplayer parts of any of these games.

    I couldn't resist a complete collectors eddition of all 4 games and I must say I am having a blast! These are really good games and next to forza and GTA5 the best right now on XBOX one. Still haven't played the online mode, so it never concerned me that that part of the game was (apparently) broken at first.

    The package is wel presented and just feels like a treasure trove. It's amazing how consistent the games all feek together in terms of gameplay yet each one is a fresh experience. All games are really worth playing although HALO CE does feel a bit dated and the cut scenes stutter really badly. That should not happen, they are not taxing for the system, just badly ported. For me that knocks off a point from a perfect 10.

    The point is knocked off because however good I think it is, I don't believe this is a game for everyone no matter what. The story isn't good enough to justify that statement. To me, a game with a 9 or higher should be no-brainer must buy. Sadly many professional critics use a 9 too easily.

    However, if you for a really tight shooter (at least for what I can attest toi in campaign mode) with some great level design (love the great set pieces with the vehicles) the I can highly recommend this game.    … Expand

    But the real trophy here is Halo 2. Before the Master Chief Collection, Halo 2 was mostly inaccessible due to it being quite an old game for the original Xbox and widespread compatibility issues for the PC. Halo 2 was like watching the Special Edition of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back in the late '90s: just as compelling as the first time, and somehow better. The graphics are better than Halo 4, the cutscenes are easier to watch, and all the old secrets are still in place.

    I am not a huge fan of multiplayer games. If you play Halo for the multiplayer, then for the first 6 months you may have been disappointed. The system needed more work than 343 had done before the release, and they should have waited to release. The multiplayer seems to be working now, but the wait on multiplayer is the reason for a 9 instead of a 10.

    Overall, $60 gets you 5 FPS games with over 1000 hours of play time and 50 hours of (legendary difficulty) campaign. There are few arguments against how good of a deal this is, and the games are incredible.    … Expand

    So now i have the chance and i've played now for 6 hours in one row.

    i love it it's like mass effect but with less story more action. halo 1 feels old but that doesn't matter.
    i can't wait to play halo 2 tomorrow.

    Three incredible Halo games and one okay game (*Cough* Halo 4 *Cough*) all in one package with all of each games content thrown in to the mix. Halo 2 Anniversary is clearly the star of the show here, and it is amazing to play my favorite Halo game in glorious HD.

    There is just one Word for this: Amazing. The greatest and most polished HD Collection so far. 4 Games that made Game History, Halo 5 Beta and Halo Nightfall. Sure, who dont like Halo wont so after this, but thats for all Games. Everyone who likes Halo or Shooters, just HAVE TO BUY!

    The MasterChief Collection was all I wanted. Replay old memories with new graphics and sound effects. The new cinematics really adds up to the game. Plus, you have all 3 other games with it. It's a very good deal overall for only 60$. It's a must have for your game collection on your xbox one.

    Its Halo a collection of quality games that comes in quantity as well. We get the best of both world's. Definitely the best remaster set to ever come out. Best part is the game is older then 1 year and isn't a flat out money grab like TLOU.

    A halo dream, everything is perfect, It has every map and the Halo 5 beta. This brings home all the classics we know and love and really shows how much the FPS market has sucked compared to what it is today

    Excellent collection of some of the greatest games of the past 2 gaming generations. The best part of this whole collection is that all 4 games are remastered in 60fps, which make a huge difference. Some people might complain about the massive install size, but it just proves how much content you're really getting for your money.

    The halo 2 anniversary campaign is jaw dropping, and the anniversary multiplayer has stood the test of time. Anyone interested in this game should check it out. You definitely get more than your money is worth.

    All the 0 marks, are from Playstation users, online works if you wait at max 5 minutes and is being fixed ASAP, champaign is perfect and with online working just not working as fast as people want it to work, this game is in my eyes, perfect

Have you ever seen the XBox Live control room? Its INSANE!! To expect everything to run perfectly all the time is simply unrealistic. I have no doubt that 343 and MS will get them worked out in short order.     In regards to value, this is one of the best releases I can ever remember. Halo 2 and the new cut scenes are AMAZING!! I honestly can't give this game a higher recommendation. If your a Halo fan, you would be crazy not to buy this game asap!! Its just pure Halo goodness through and through and there is enough content here to keep you busy for years!!

    It is the best pack of the year !!! Not only have 4 games is one, you have two fully renovated graphically and all in HD and 60 fps.
    There is little to say about how awesome these games are, they not only changed the way we see the shooters, their story and plot are striking, besides containing all the best online (speaking of consoles).

    I paid full price and was wholly satisfied. Having played the series before, I was both nostalgic and still kept on the edge of my seat by the updates. The multiplayer is exactly what I'd hoped it would be and let me remember what I loved most about this game saga. The new playerbase gets to relive the glory of Master Chief from the beginning.     Amazing game!!! I had previously played all halos besides 1 & 4 all the way through. It's so great to play 4 campaigns and online. It sucks online is slow right now, but hey, I have 4 campaigns to destroy. #Finishthefight

    But one of the annoying things is the bugs. The fact that Matchmaking doesn't work well and it can take anywhere from 20 seconds to 20 minutes (It is usually the latter) to get into a game. Plus there are sometimes the game just crashes midgame, and sometimes achievements dont unlock properly.

    But, it is launch and fixing the game is at the top of Microsoft's priority list, so maybe these bugs will go away.    … Expand
