    The MasterChief Collection was all I wanted. Replay old memories with new graphics and sound effects. The new cinematics really adds up to the game. Plus, you have all 3 other games with it. It's a very good deal overall for only 60$. It's a must have for your game collection on your xbox one.

    Worth a 10 for the campaigns alone. Then you have all the multiplayer maps across all the games giving ultimate replayability. I'd be satisfied with this as my only game for at least the next 6 months.

    As someone who hadn't played the first three halos and had only played the single-player of Halo 4, I was excited when this first was announced. I bought an X-box One just to play this game and Halo 5. All of the games are great, but when put together at a relatively low price they become amazing. There is so much content to be had, it is ridiculous (in a good way). This is an obvious 10/10 if you are a Halo fan. 4 legendary games in 1 disc, all 4 campaigns and being able to play matchmaking for all the 4 Halo games now that they fixed the matchmaking. Halo 2 remastered with amazing graphics and BEAUTIFUL cut scenes! If you are a fan of the Halo franchise this is a must own.     A union of the most epic of all Halos. Gameplay sensational, very well made Halo 2 graphics and story more than perfect!

    Silly PS4 fanboys below do not realize how great this game is because of how much they're being aroused by Sony's small and fail of a potential. Great game, fantastic visuals, fantastic nostalgia and content. Now we watch Sony's unoriginal copy of "Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection", they can't even get an original name thanks to Microsoft's awesomeness in the PC and Xbox side of things.     I have been never played halo game before so i picked it up and start playing it and it was amazing! Story was very amazing and I Personally Really loved Halo 4 with an amazing emotional story.

    The only real down to it was before July when it had all those bugs and not so good matchmaking. They fixed the multiplayer now. You can usually get into a game within 5 minutes. Now it is awesome. Its even better if you like to have four players on the couch. There are several different game types and over 100 multiplayer maps. You can play all 4 campaigns.     Très bonne compilations de tous les plus gros moments de la Saga Halo, des cinématiques à couper le souffle, le meilleure multijoueurs et surtout le plus complet que j'ai vu cette compilation c'est plus qu'un simple jeu ça exploîte une bonne partie de l'Univers Mythique qu'est Halo. Je le recommande à tous.

    Favorite video game ever! Halo is a great game better than Destiny. I think it has amazing graphics. the multiplayer is also really fun to play. The sound track is so good I would listen to it in my car when I'm older.
    Halo is an amazing game I would recommend it to anyone.

    This is still the best Halo / Xbox One exclusive! The only thing that could possibly make this game better is the future inclusion of Halo Reach and Firefight mode for both Halo Reach and Halo 3 ODST. This is a must buy and should be in your collection.

    This game is one of the very few I have purchased that I have zero regrets. The MCC has so much content on one disc and hundreds of hours of gameplay that I have to be crazy to rate this anything lower than a 10. The campaign for Halos 1-3 are absolutely amazing. The blur cinematics for H2 were jaw dropping and the ability to switch between old and new graphics was worth it alone. PlayingThis game is one of the very few I have purchased that I have zero regrets.     Brings back all of my childhood memories with the remastered halo 2 campaign, slightly updated visuals on halo 3 and 4, ran without any troubles, and well, it had the best halo game of all time in it.

    Just 10! This compilation is perfect! It has 4 quality games including our dear master chief!
    1080p at 60fps is not a joke. That's so awesome! The soundtrack is perfect as we know it! The menu is very well done and easy to use!

    Thanks 343 industry to give us the opportunity to replay such a fantastic game

    I am hooked on Halo.

    As an older gamer this is how I always imagined video games to be; fast, bright, OK plot/story and lots of guns to shoot. I played all five games in three months and just might have to go back on a higher setting

    i will talk about this game in its current state (11/9/16) and its perfect a must buy for XBOX one owners and is now dirt cheap. multiplayer is fixed very rarely any problems. only one thing that's a problem is all the updates have made it so big and could take up a lot of storage.

    A great value especially for Halo fans. It feels satisfying to revisit the older Halos. I have not experienced any problems with the game here in 2016 but the loading times are rather long.

    This is a great Xbox One game, definitely doesn't deserve all the 0's the sony fanboys are giving it. Its better than all ps4 exclusives, and you can't play this game on PS4.

    Halo CE - Definitely worst game I have ever played. It is terrible in every aspect. 1/10
    Halo 2 - This is how good remaster looks like. I have really enjoyed this one even on legendary. 8/10
    Halo 3 - Not great not terrible. Average game. 6/10 Halo 3 ODST - I like this one so much. Nice atmosphere and good gameplay. 9/10 Halo 4 - Best looking and overall great game 8.5/10 Halo Reach -    Halo CE - Definitely worst game I have ever played. It is terrible in every aspect. 1/10

    Average score would be 8/10 but because of Reach it is 10/10.

    Multiplayer - Halo Reach is definitely best one. Halo 2A and 4 are really good and fun to play too. Halo 3 and CE aren't enjoyable at all.
    Spartan Ops - This is so bad created. Endless waves of enemies where you kill 1 and then die for 50 chapters. Nothing interesting just same things all over again.
    Firefight - Really great game mode with so many customizations.

    Overall it is fun and enjoyable with some exepcions. Achievements are actually well made so you have reason to play every game at all 4 difficulties and during that you can find all collectibles and Easter eggs.    … Expand

I'm going to give this a 10 to try and bring it up though it'll probably be inevitably staying in the mixed area rather than in generally favorable. i think that this game has simply been improved. While this game may have taken nearly 4 years to be fixed, this is now a system seller and should be bought by any HaloAfter the patches and everything, my rating has changed for a 1 to a 9. If you already played 5G as was my case I think a good order to play the games would be chronological. So you can start with CE which is the one released for the OG XBox back in 2001,    "THE ALL-TIME GREATEST VIDEO-GAME! Which is it?"

    After enjoying very much 5G I took on to play all Halo games, I played the main ones. This collection is quite good there are many games packed within. If you already played 5G as was my case I think a good order to play the games would be chronological. So you can start with CE which is the one released for the OG XBox back in 2001, November 15th. CE is hailed as one of the greatest video-games ever made because many features that are ubiquitous in gaming and that are taken for granted in nowadays games can be traced back to HALO CE. But I just would like to say taht if you play it you have to take into account its age, it has aged a little bit, it's still playable, but I think the difficulty specially have not aged very well, bear that in mind, some missions can be quite tough, but it's totally worth the time travel to play this revoluationary game. I think only CE and Halo 2 are actually remasters, the others appear to be ports. But actually I don't feel like the 360 games have aged as much so they're much more playable. And also, maybe you might think that this is a game for the masses a friendly game and stuff like as if this is Microsoft's Mario game in popularity and relevance, actually it is, but I see Halo as more of a Hardcore game after playing them all. As I said some missions in these games can be quite tough and beyond that for CE, so if you'd like to play it on Legendary, I'd like to wish you the best of luck.

    Overall, great games, superb Franchise. I started this text with a question, I'll end it with another. I wasn't gaming in November 15th, 2001, the release date of both the OG XBox and HALO CE, and now I look back to it with some regret as I long to have taken part in this historic moment and to have followed/witnessed in real-time the amazing reviews, the overwhelming joy of players and what I believe, a Massive hype for HALO 2. Actually HALO 2 is currently my favorite of them all this was the last Halo for the OG XBox, I think it came out in 2004 and it brought a considerable leap over CE, I guess they just got bigger pockets after CE :-) So, the real question for me at least is:

    "What were I doing back in November 15th, 2001?"    … Expand

    Exelente colección del jefe maestros, mejor resolución, mayor rendimiento, más calidad de texturas y nostalgia por doquier, este juego es muy recomendado si quieres revivir los tiempos de halo ce y halo 2 y halo 3 con ODST y Reach, es excelente con sus gráficos mejorados, muy recomendado

    Ah nostalgia. I grew up on Halo:CE and playing it brings back memories. I enjoy playing the newer ones as well, but the multiplayer maps, prisoner and hang em high are my faves

    This game contains halo reach , halo 1, halo 2 ,3 ODST , and halo 4 with majority of the games remastered and updated graphics . Games play smoothly and delivers the same great action as halo always has 10 out of 10

I've been a huge halo fan for most of my life and this was not a disappointment. One thing tho, you cannot rank up in individual games, so instead of clumping all the games together into one, this game is more of a halo arcade, which kinda made me sad.     With this collection you can play basically every halo that have been created, the story mode make you feel the emotions that the developers tried to make you feel, the combat system is unique, enemies that in the long period became unforgettable.     This is the only reason why I bought an XBOX ONE - I played Halo 3 a lot with the 360 when it first came out and I still think the games themselves are fun to play either online or campaign. I like the ability to play any campaign and map I want whenever I want. I am and will be enjoying this game for many years to come.

    I want to just start this review by saying that anyone who gave this a 5 or below shouldn't review games anymore cause just one of these games alone have just as much or more than half of the games to come out on next-gen this year. But put all 4 halo games ( with 1 and 2 allowing you to switch between graphics) over 100 maps ( including dlc, pc exclusive, and remastered) , the new improved forge mode for halo 2, the halo 5 beta, and the halo channel with exclusive halo content like nightfall for just the price for a single like destiny or titanfall and this is easily a great deal that both non and true halo fans can both appreciate. For halo 1 and 2 anniversary campaigns, you switch between the old and new graphics ( now instant ) while it still keeps to the feel of the classics and the new blur cutscenes in 2 are just incredible. Halo 2 also comes with 6 fan favorite maps remastered and the multiplayer for anniversary is given a modern touch that not only still keeps the same feel as the original but with added weapons, maps triggers, and vehicles, feels like a fresh and new game almost. And if your not crazy about change you can always stick to the classics. Speaking of classics, halos 1,3,&4 run at 1080p and all games run at 60fps and I must say, while it sounds just like a scam, after returning to halo 4 on 360 after playing on one, its clear that once you play halo on next-gen, you won't want to return to 360 as the games feel smoother and even look slightly nice. He'll halo 4 almost looks like a next-gen game. And whats even cooler is you can set your controls to transfer to all 4 games so you dont get confussed when switching. As for forge its better than ever. With all the new features from creating your own terrain hills and valleys, using blank skybox maps as a empty canvas, switches that can do things like open doors, spawn objects, trigger explosions, and so much more, this has got to be the greatest forge ever and I hope they put even more in halo 5. Now if you haven't noticed, it might seem like I'm more selling this game than reviewing and that's only because this is such an enormous steal, but it isn't 100% perfect. For customization, instead of unlocking armors, they are all given to you and you can't mix and match armor which does kill a little variety as well as progression, but more importantly, even though playing the multiplayer itself is a blast, waiting for a game is a pain in the ass. Games usually took from 5 to as long as 30 minutes and few times the game disconnected, imbalanced teams were made, and even one time all four people in a group were all put on the same team. However, that was more towards launch and 343 has been putting effort to fix it by temporarily removing some playlists to boost find games as we as updates. I mean when you have 4 games with engines from 2001,2004,2007,2012,& 2014 running on one server, your probably going to have problems, but it isn't that bad as I've gotten in plenty of matches and at least characters faces aren't melting off like in ac unity. Any way with that despite some annoying server issues and a step back in customization options, this is easily a must buy and not even just for halo fans. You get this and Xbox one and your set for the whole year. 343 clearly cares for the halo community and even though they could have simply released halo 2 anniversary as its own thing they decided to give us the whole dam series, all polished like a DVD to blu-ray collection. Halo made me the gamer I am today and it will always be my favorite series and with this it might even bring back some oldfans as well as make some new ones as it has enough for the new crowd and the veterans. HALO MCC gets a 9.5 out of 10!    … Expand

    So now i have the chance and i've played now for 6 hours in one row.

    i love it it's like mass effect but with less story more action. halo 1 feels old but that doesn't matter.

Just for scope and scale alone this package is a great buy, and the loving attention this collection has received is breathtaking, 4 Halo games remastered and polished, Halo TV mini series and the Halo 5 multiplayer beta and lots of other little goodies, just amazing switching between Halo games is effortless and the menus are easy to navigate in general. So aside from a few performance problems here and there, like drops in frame rate sometimes when saving or loading(which will most likely be patched out) this collection is a great blast from the past experience and lets us know again why we all loved Halo back in the day. So if you have already played all 4 Halo games and are not an avid fan of Halo i would wait a while until you have some spare cash and want to delve into this collection at a later time, but if you haven't played any of the Halo games before you will be in for a treat, the content in this collection will keep you entertained for many months, and the story!, there is no other like it!, for hardcore Halo fans? i don 't think i need to say a word, they are already playing this amazing collection of the best sci fi first person shooter franchise ever to grace a console thus far.

I know that there are 6 or 8 years old kids playing this game, but i have always enjoyed the story, the gameplay and the world design. Most people prefer COD or Battlefield as a great FPS franchise, but i will just enjoy this great franchise with aThis game is everything i wanted as an addition to the Halo franchise. Every moment of the game had a huge impact and was full of nostalgia. I know that there are 6 or 8 years old kids playing this game, but i have always enjoyed the story, the gameplay and the world design. Most people prefer COD or Battlefield as a great FPS franchise, but i will just enjoy this great franchise with a great soundtrack and voice acting. Everyone who rates this game a 0/1/2 out of 10 is just completely crazy for giving this game that rating. I may sound like a Halo fanboy but i am not, i am just that sort of person who enjoys video games and don't even care about graphics. I give this game a 9 out of 10 because this is perfect for those people who don't have the original xbox or who converted from Playstation to Xbox (which is rare) and who wanna know why this game is so hyped.… Expand
