    Horrible, overrated and boring game. First of all the gameplay is trash, it's a generic third person shooter and a stealth game. It's just boring, simple as. And the story? That's why everyone plays this game, is for the story, right? What a **** joke... A zombie apocalypse, really? Wow so original. You play as a character and your partner is a tsundere that warms up to you over the courseHorrible, overrated and boring game. First of all the gameplay is trash, it's a generic third person shooter and a stealth game. It's just boring, simple as. And the story? That's why everyone plays this game, is for the story, right? What a **** joke... A zombie apocalypse, really? Wow so original. You play as a character and your partner is a tsundere that warms up to you over the course of the game, omg like this is not something seen 5,000,000 million times before.

    I have no clue why anyone holds this game in high regard. It's BORING, the story is boring and predictable, the gameplay is just an intermission for the next story bit, and incredibly boring.

    Easily the best way to experience the best game of all time!!! Honestly really hope the HBO show gets more people into this game for their first time so they can experience this most amazing game in it's absolute best form!!! Pay no mind to the haters cause this is every bit worth the price!!!

    This might just be the greatest game I've ever played. I've decided that since I have a ps5, I need to start playing all these games I didn't play as a kid when they were originally released. One of these games was the Last of Us. Since the release of the TV Show I wanted to play the original game before watching it. So I played the game and it was beautiful. 13 hours of amazing story,This might just be the greatest game I've ever played. So I played the game and it was beautiful. 13 hours of amazing story, amazing game play, and some of the greatest world building I've ever seen. The voice acting was amazing. So much better than I've seen from other games this year like God of War and Hogwarts Legacy (But I am aware these games are all very different from each other in their production). I haven't played the second game but I absolutely want to now. I really just bought the game to see what the hype was about. But after being annoyed by the 50 dollar price, I realized that with the one that I bought, I got the Left Behind DLC with it, making the price range a bit more worth it. But even with that large price. The thing that really sold the game was the story and game play. I won't go too deep into the story because I don't wanna spoil it. But if you're looking for a game with good story, buy the game. If you're looking for a long-ish game with a lot of fun content in it, buy the game.… Expand

The last of us has lots of vehicles like cars, helicopters, bouts,and zip lines. The last of us has a lot of side quest for exsapel there is one quest where you have to jump throw a building, kill five herds of zombies,find all the artifacts in the game.

    The story may be good and such, but the game's optimisation is so bad, I have more crashes then minutes playtime. Your FPS are dropping randomly below 10 if you don't have a 10.000$ gaming pc... this price is just unbelievable.

    Jesus, the cries of people screaming "review bomb!" whenever anything from Sony releases in a **** state sickens me. I love how a legion of Sony Ponies actively encourage this downward trend from the company when they should really be criticising them for dog**** ports and getting Sony to get their heads out of their asses and fix their games.

    Not worth the price tag. It's more like a $20 remaster of the PS4 remaster. They just replaced some assets by recycling Uncharted 4 stuff. That's why you can find plane trails in the sky despite the fact that there is no commercial aviation anymore in TLoU. It's hilarious but completely ruins the immersion.

    The price isn't worth how little improvements were made over the original game. It took them half as much time to make this as it does for most companies to make a new game from the ground up. So I can't see why we should pay full price for a new coat of paint and some big fixes.

    Looks more like another remaster, even if it's a pathetic remake. They even removed the multiplayer, LMAO.

    The PC game just doesn't work, it closes, crashes, doesn't load, it sucks!!! I want my money back and STEAM says that since it took 2 hours to ask for a refund, we are not entitled, the game takes 2 hours just to start and load the shader! A shame

    Would have been fine a free/cheap upgrade from the previous version but no way worth a full price release. Hardly takes advantage of the PS5 and seems to be quick cash grab. If you never played this game then give it a go but if you have played before don't both with this.

I love the 50 year old man who owns me with the suckable toes (Jooooeeeeeeeel) and his dead daughter. The game is so heartbreaking especially when Joel sucks Bill's dick for that shotgun. The game is hard to play with 1 hand cause I am beating to Joel's thick ass. 10/10 would recommend.

    Technically this PS5 version is a great addition, although the console is still not powerful enough to run the game at native 4K60, full price is unacceptable, however Sony knows that there's no competition at this point for such quality narrative AAA experience.

    Even though the $70 price is completely unjustified, the PS5 remake of The Last of Us makes the core game from PS3 to shame. The main differences is of course, the visuals, graphics, no multiplayer, and the trophies being more easier than ever.

    An undiubted method of cash grab to advertise the TV series (of peraphs the opposite), the graphics engagement and motion capture are very close to 10, but the gameplay is a 4… too old and with this quality its hurts a lot.

The ending was jarring to me, I had mixed feelings, and my thoughts on the characters were questionable at best. I was excited to experience the story again with the improved visuals and improved gameplay, which really looked fantastic on PS5. The lighting, the scenery, the characters and even the enemies all had a new life brought into them which made the experience feel more cinematic and even better. I got to really spend time focusing on what made the journey unique and great and not only wondering what would happen next, and it pushed the experience up for me even more as a result. Now I can say with full confidence that while The Last of Us may not be perfect, it is amazing. Part 1 is without a doubt the definitive version of this game and a must play for both existing fans and certainly anyone who hasn’t gone on this journey before, as I believe it’s an experience every gamer should have.… Expand

I tried to play the reMASTER (caps for clarity, not yelling) after and couldn’t get into it because it was just such a significant step down in gameplay and visuals. I just picked up the reMAKE TLOU1 on sale and it’s excellent. It feels next gen and isI’m confused by all the hate this is getting. Ja ako hráč odkojený na FPS hrách typu doom, quake,wolfenstein 3D, heretic a ich následných pokračovaniach som nebol príliš veľký fanúšik takých tých klasických konzolových hier. Staré fps hry som sa vždy chodieval hrať ku babke, kedže tá mala, resp jej syn, famózny počítač, 386ku a potom aj 486ku, kde mala wolfíka 3D, či Dooma neskôr, ale mal tam aj skákačky ako Agenta, Commander Keena a závody Indianapolis 500. Všetko vyslovene shareware verzie, nikdy to nebola plná hra. Vždy som preferoval PC, moji rodičia neboli bohatí a tak som svoje prvé PC vlastnil až niekedy okolo roku 1999 alebo 2000,či 2001, nepamätám si to presne, kde mi môj milovaný otec zaobstaral prvý PC, bol to AMD Duron 750 MHz s riva tnt2 grafikou. Hlavná myšlienka tejto kratučkej retrospektívy je v tom, že som bol doslova odkojený na FPS hrách na PC a ku konzoliam som ani nečuchol, môj jediný kontakt s konzolovou hrou bol prvý krát niekedy v roku 1996 keď sa mi podarilo dovolať do relácie Level Majstrov toho času vysielaného ešte vo VTV. Viem že som vyhral pri losovaní divokú kartu čo znamenalo účasť v budúcom diely tohto programu, vyhral som aj jednu VHS kazetu originálnu, bol to film Savate. Pamätám si matne ako som hral hru jazz jack rabbit pred vysielaním na nečisto, tá bola tuším na PC ale potom halovú verziu FIFA 97 hry, tá už bola na psx a to bol môj prvý kontakt so konzolou vôbec. Nevedel som absolútne nič, prvé ostré kolo bolo na gamepade práve jazz jack rabbit, nevedel som vôbec ako chytiť do rúk ovládač, pročko sa mi smial ako uderený psychopat ale aspoň Karnasová sa ma snažila povzbudzovať, nevedel som sa ani dopredu pohnúť a dokopy som sa nevedel ani cez prvý jednoduchý level dostať v časovom limite. Skončil som samozrejme posledný a vyhral som hru Gender Wars.

    Ale to som až príliš ďaleko odbočil od hlavnej témy, pointa bola, že som bol primárne FPS hráč až niekedy okolo roku 2011 keď som si v kamennom obchode kúpil prvú konzolu v živote, bola to Playstation 3 v zľave a sním aj niečo cez 10 hier, medzi inými aj také pecky ako Killzone 1 a 2, celú Resistance a Uncharted trilógiu, Call of duty 3 a Red Dead Redemption. Bolo pre mňa veľmi náročné hlavne tie fps hry prechádzať na ovládači, ale zvykol som si pomerne rýchlo a po pár mesiacoch som s tým nemal žiadny problém. Hlavne Uncharted hry a RDR bola taká ostrá predpríprava na The Last of Us. Pamätám si ako som napr killzone 2 a prvý resistance ale aj RDR hrával cez takú krabičku pripojenú do konzoly, penguin či ako sa to volalo, mal som v nej zapojenú klávesnicu a myšku a vedel som si pekne nastaviť a nakonfigurovať ovládanie aj keď to nebolo ako na PC, kvôli miestami vysokej odozve aj kostrbatému ovládaniu.

    Ale dosť bolo nostalgie, vrátme sa k meritu veci a tým je The Last of Us. Prvý krát som originál prešiel v lete 2013, teda týžden po oficiálnom vydaní hry na ps3. Nevedel som do čoho idem, lebo som sa poučil a na hru, ktorú som sa tešil som odmietal sledovať trailery či čítať akékoľvek články o hre. A hra ma v momente očarila, či už to bolo vyslovene brutálnou grafikou hneď na začiatku, či ešte brutálnejšou a zároveň veľmi smutnou introdukciou hlavnej postavy hry, Joela. Musím podoknúť, že jeden z dôvodov prečo mi táto hra doslova prirástla ku srdcu je aj fakt, že som hru prechádzal s mojím milovaným otcom počas leta na chalupe, bolo to presne pár mesiacov po mojich úspešných štátniciach a tak som si užíval pár mesiacov voľna tým najlepším spôsobom. Hra ma takým neuveriteľným spôsobom úplne pohltila, že som si ani neuvedomoval plynutie času. Hra vyzerala na tú dobu neskutočne, hral som ju síce na staršej 40 palcovej Full HD plazme od panasonic, ktorá hre pridávala ešte na kráse parádne nakalibrovanými farbami obrazovky. Hru som hral, kvôli môjmu otcovi s českým jazykom, vedel síce slušne po anglicky, ale aby si aj on užil príbeh tak som ich zapol pre istotu.

    this game is still incredible. replayed it after the first episode of the HBO show and it is the best video game ever made. the story, the characters, everything. top-notch.

    This remake for PS5 is great and has a lot of improvements and absolute great graphics. I played the first game, the Remastered (PS4) and now the remake on PS5. Its absolutely stunning, a new experience of the game. It feels as a new game not released before, it feels realistic. As fan I'm happy to replay the whole game on this new console generation. All releases are a masterpiece - thisThis remake for PS5 is great and has a lot of improvements and absolute great graphics. I played the first game, the Remastered (PS4) and now the remake on PS5. Its absolutely stunning, a new experience of the game. It feels as a new game not released before, it feels realistic. As fan I'm happy to replay the whole game on this new console generation.     If you have played the original or remastered you are just in for an upgraded treat and a simple platinum. Naughty dog did this game justice and it feels good to play a favorite game updated for the new console.

    Nice Remaster. A real rediscovery. The immersion of the TLOU II graphics engine makes the experience even more enriched. I would so love a collector's version of The Last of Us. Maybe one day ?

    Es un juego increíble, su historia, su diseño artístico, los gráficos de última generación, el desarrollo de personajes, las mecánicas del juego demuestran que Naughty Dog está a otro nivel en la creación de videojuegos, muy merecido este Remakes para esta gran saga para los nuevos usuarios de PlayStation 5.

    There are few types of enemies, no bosses, and no excitement.
    It is difficult to play because of low ammunition and instant death.
    The story lacks a sense of fear and tension.

    This game was a 10 on the PS3 and it still is even more so a 10 with updated graphics, optimizations, and 3D audio for PS5. This is one of the best games I've ever played. The story alone is top notch and so good that HBO picked up the series for 2 seasons and maybe more. I have never played it fully until this remaster and it's absolutely incredible!!!     We all know it is the 3rd version of the first TLOU game, but we needed this beauty in Next-Gen consoles.

    Pros:
    > Gorgeous storyline as usual
    > Graphic design and audio design so much better
    > Interactions with the new Dualsense are completely worth it

    I understand that $70 is alot for a game that came out 10+ years ago but the rating shouldn’t be based on that. The gameplay, graphics and mechanics that got implemented from The last of us part 2 just make this game so much better and its always good to go back and play a better version of a masterpiece

    The game that just keeps being astounding and breathtaking after all these years! Troy Baker’s performance is out of this world and Ashley Johnson hits all her notes as a strong and vulnerable woman. Still one of the best games out there.

Porem, embora para mim isso não faça diferença, deve ser mencionado também que o modo online presente em nos lançamentos para PS3 e PS4 não está presente nesse Remake para PS5.     I played it straight through over a week and beat it on normal. I still don’t understand the hype. The gameplay is as clunky as I remembered. The stealth mechanics generally suck. Your enemies can shoot for days but only drop 1-3 bullets when you loot them. Arrows break every other shot. Shivs are constantly breaking because there are apparently no knives left in the world (even though Ellie has an unbreakable switchblade). Some enemies can take multiple rounds to the head. There is an over abundance of QTEs. The clicker enemies are the most annoying as they are way overused.

    The writing borrows heavily from The Road, 28 Days Later, and TWD. The characters are all unlikable, especially Joel. He reminds me of Rick, and yells “Ellie!” almost as much as Rick yells “Carl!” There is almost every post apocalyptic trope known to mankind: paramilitary groups, mutants, and cannibals. Yes, cannibals in a world that is full of game and canned food.

    All in all it’s an okay game, but nothing you would want to play through multiple times. If you want a truly enjoyable experience with top notch gameplay, stealth, and adrenaline fueled combat encounters try Days Gone.    … Expand

    This is my first exposure to the game and franchise itself so yeah the story, characters, gameplay, visuals and acting are all pretty perfect. My new favorite game of all time.

    As much as we love the skeleton, the way it’s been built upon here feels like a missed opportunity. The chance to incorporate Part II’s stellar gameplay evolutions into the original heart-wrenching story was there; had Naughty Dog taken it, it could have been a game-changer. Instead, this feels like an obligatory reshoot. Yes, it’s visually stunning (one of PS5’s best), and yes, things have been changed. But the end result? Too familiar. Neat extras are here, like a speedrun mode, behind the scenes videos, and commentary tracks – but we’d hoped for something bolder. [Issue#19, p.74]

    The original The Last of Us will always be my favourite PlayStation game. The narrative is amazing, the relationship between Joel and Ellie is wholesome and it all culminates into a satisfying story that will bring tears to your eyes. However, I do not recommend the remake. Even though there are extensive graphical enhancements, 60FPS support, DualSense support and a variety of accessibility options, none of this justifies the admission price. And, above all, there was really no need for this remake, the original is perfect as it is and available on PS Plus. Skip it and wait for a fat discount if you are keen to try it.
