    Una nueva etapa para el erizo a Sido definida gracias a este título, pese a sus problemas de rendimiento no logra tirar por la borda lo demás; un control divertido y cómodo, una historia interesante y que te hace sentir que por fin el Canon se mueve hacia alguna parte, y esos momentos de epicidad característicos... Sin dudas este es un nuevo comienzo para Sonic

    the best sonic game since mania, tight controls (in the open world), fun combat, cool platforming, my only complaint are the cyberspace controls which feel kinda off but you will get used to them.

    So I finish it and I really love this game and finally sega hired Ian Flynn who knows the characters and the story, so I hope sega will bring back Ian Flynn for the future games

    This game is absolutely amazing. While there is a ton of pop-in, this game is just so fun that I can ignore that. I can't stop playing this masterpiece.

    Sonic Frontiers is definitely the best game in the series, both in terms of plot and gameplay. The soundtrack is amazing.
    The wait was totally worth it, I look forward to the next proposal from Sonic Team, I really want to know how they continue the story with the new direction they gave it.
    In my opinion, the game is a 10 out of 10.

    Se puede considerar el mejor juego de sonic sin lugar a dudas, el mundo abierto funciona ya que el diseño del juego esta bien pensado (para mí de los mejores mundos abiertos jamás hechos), es satisfactorio controlar a sonic y eso acompañado de un combate rápido y dinámico. Me gusta el tono que toma la historia es simple pero entretenida y la banda sonora es muy buena como cualquier sonic.Se puede considerar el mejor juego de sonic sin lugar a dudas, el mundo abierto funciona ya que el diseño del juego esta bien pensado (para mí de los mejores mundos abiertos jamás hechos), es satisfactorio controlar a sonic y eso acompañado de un combate rápido y dinámico.     One of the best Sonic games I've ever played.
    It's the best step in every direction for the franchisee. I hope Ian Flynn continues to write for the games!

    Also, don't trust Digital Trends, GamesRadar~ and GamesHub reviews. It feels like Unleashed all over again. Journalists review bombing a Sonic game just bcs it's a Sonic game.

    This trully is a great game. The music, how sonic's control's are fluid, the story and much more. Theres some janky stuff here and there but it doesnt negate how this was a wonderful experience. Hope sonic team continues to get this formula greater and greater with the next games

This Base has a HUGE Potential and SEGA should go with this Direction ahead. Combat is Smooth as you can Change your Attack or Abort them to Change more. Skilltree is a Little Small maybe but its the First time and they can Step itThis is the best and most Serious Sonic game since a Long Time!     The game is extremely fun, with one of the best stories in the franchise but it lacks in technical aspects, with a little polish we would have the best experience a sonic game could offer, even so Frontiers is a fun experience with mechanics that will be very well- coming to the future of the series. The Starfall Island’s are very fun to play, the first Titan Boss Figth is very epic, the fishing minigame is really fun, the cyberspace level’s are very fun, the formula still need’s to be polished a little so that they surpass Sonic Generations, the history and the game in general need to be more big in the duration, but this game is incredible and dont need to beThis game is amazing!!!     I'm not generally a Sonic player, but I figured i'd give this one a shot and i've been loving it. The outdoor zones are not the most visually stunning but they make up for it with how jam packed they are with collectibles. The cyber levels are great across the board, and though the story is kinda nonsensical it's got heart. The boss fight music rocks and there's some great set pieces.I'm not generally a Sonic player, but I figured i'd give this one a shot and i've been loving it.     this game is in the top 3 of my favorite games ever The influence of the fans in the franchise is noticeable, definitely one of the best Sonic in 3D
    Everyone should give it a try, even if your only option is a Nintendo Switch.
    The biggest problem of the game must be the pop in, but after a while playing you don't even notice it anymore, obviously it can be better, but it's still not annoying

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This game adds a lot of aspects from old games in the franchise, as well ask makes references. One of the best Sonic games in history, if not the best game. The open world allows players to control Sonic to the maximum of his abilities.

    The new combat system allows players to deal lethal combos when facing stronger foes. There isn’t too much platforming as we’ve seen in other modern Sonic games.

    The story carries a strong meaning within it that I believe may go over one’s head if they are not paying too close attention. I have no complaints of this game, and hope the majority of the community can agree.    … Expand

    This is the first Sonic game I've purchased since Sonic Adventure on Dreamcast. Sonic Frontiers is amazing, it feels like I'm playing the animated intro from Sonic CD. I have a vast open space and I can go wherever I want at sonic speed, solve puzzles, and engage in cool boss battles.

    This is the type of Sonic game I’ve been waiting for since I started playing Sonic when I was 7. When Frontiers released, I was instantly satisfied with it. It’s an ambitious step for Sega and Sonic Team. They nailed the exploration with the high speed and Sonic elements.

    A great new mix for Sonic! I loved the open zone setting, the zooming around and combat was a blast. Cyberspace levels were dope, rather addicting actually. I was pleasantly surprised. If you're on the fence, you won't be disappointed.

    Sonic Frontiers takes the right steps to setup the next decade of Sonic games. Although the last decade of Sonic has been rocky, Sonic may have finally found his footing within the open world genre.

    For the first time in years Sonic has responsive controls, which work well in his environment. The last time you felt this level of control was Sonic Adventure back on the Dreamcast. The    Sonic Frontiers takes the right steps to setup the next decade of Sonic games. Although the last decade of Sonic has been rocky, Sonic may have finally found his footing within the open world genre.

    For the first time in years Sonic has responsive controls, which work well in his environment. The last time you felt this level of control was Sonic Adventure back on the Dreamcast. The world design is brimming with things to see and do and feels as if it is one big Sonic level. The story is emotional and touching and can leave a lasting impression upon any player which few other Sonic game have achieved.

    The highlight of this game are the titan boss battles. I would recommend going in blind and experiencing these yourself as they are a spectacle to say the least. They are the best boss battles in the entire Sonic series by far and you do not want to miss these if you are a Sonic fan.

    Overall this is a well-rounded game that sets the foundation for the next decade of games for the little blue blur. It strikes a balance between exploration and blistering speed and you never lose control of the player which is an massive achievement for any Sonic game.    … Expand

    This review is spoiler-free. General stuff about the game:

    Story? Captivating. Serious-toned, characters are faithful to their originally intended depictions, great for all audiences and especially teens and up. A love letter for the old-time fans, and a good and digestible introduction of what Sonic (& other characters in the series) is about (again, story-wise) for new fans. You'll find a lot of lore content too in gameplay elements, such as the fishing game, which is VERY neat. It creates incentive to explore other gameplay mechanics, and cohesion. Graphics/Visuals? Stunning. Picture worthy shots everywhere, makes you want to spend more time on each island, taking the environment in. If not for story/gameplay elements, then simply for the leisure of exploring beautiful scenery. A huge downside is the lack of photo-mode (as of writing) but hey, screenshotting works for now. Audio/Sound? BANGING. Enhances your experience tremendously. Amazing long tracks by many talented artists and groups. Especially the ones for cyberspace. As for sounds you'll find it good, but really the spotlights all on the music.

    Price? Absolutely worth it. If you focus only on the story, the game can be finished in ~20 hours, which is already SO MUCH longer than your average high-price Sonic game. If you want to 100% it though, ~30-40 hours. Especially for the casual players. Wonderful for the price, not too long not too short content-wise, *especially* for a Sonic game.

    Now, what about the nitty-gritty?

    Combat in the game is very fun, you'll be messing around creating your own strategies and fighting style. I LOVE the ability to practice your skills and improve muscle memory - again, this is from someone who doesn't play this style of game. VERY helpful for those unfamiliar and can use the practice in-between like myself. Not to mention how adjustable & customizable Sonic's controls are in the menu, this appeases so many sectors of this fanbase (and out, especially those that are not familiar with controlling sonic) to make the controls THEY'RE comfortable with. This is the most accessible and adjustable Sonic game to date.

    Mechanics are fun to mess around with and improve upon, instructions are clear and you can follow along the game's completion without being lost. The music, the gameplay, and the story all make for an awesome and interesting experience. My only real complaint is I think the true final boss “The End” could’ve been a bit better given the awesome Super Sonic boss fights throughout the game, but what we got is still pretty good. The combat, exploration, and story are all incredibly fun and the ending left me feeling accomplished and even made me cry.     Sonic Frontiers is an amazing experience of a Sonic game. Exciting story, complex combat system, fun exploration and traversal, the game has a pletory of content to keep the user entertained. Sonic Frontiers feels like a love letter to the long date fans of the Sonic franchise.

    Sonic's move set is a lot of fun to mess around with, especially when you unlock every single skill. Doing different combos to see how fast you can defeat an enemy, performing tricks after launching yourself off of the terrain with boost, completing cyberspace levels as fast as possible, it's all really fun. The Boss Fights are actually insane and are one of the best fights in the entire series. Each one has a unique vocal song and you use what you learn from the island to beat them. They all have a theme.

    Cyberspace is definitely a weak part of the game but it's still fun, the levels at the start are very weak but once you get to the second or third island they pick up in quality. Like really, they go from reusing level layouts to being full on original, throwing in new mechanics like drifting and skateboarding segments. My favorite cyberspace levels are definitely the ones from the final island.

    Story Wise (No Spoilers) is good. There's a lot of mystery and it's really fun to explore and try piecing everything together. Sage is a very interesting character, Sonic is no longer one dimensional and has his practices and morals challenged, and believe it or not, this game has character development for the entire cast! I won't lie there were parts of the story that felt like they were doing damage control for the past 10 years, but they managed to make it work for the story. There are no longer 2 planets, there is no longer a classic and modern time line, and humans exist outside of just Robotnik. This game is better experienced blind.

    This game definitely is receiving some harsh ratings from critics outside of steam, which is as expected but you should go in and make your own opinion, and if you like it please leave a review. It is important for this franchise to receive as much positive feedback as possible since it is gaming's punching bag, but also be honest.     the cyberspace levels are wonderful representations of previous levels of other sonics and the originals are not far behind

    The open world is fun to explore and despite the simple combat mechanics it always makes fights entertaining.

    Honestly probably my favorite overall sonic game, it's just such a complete package and so much more then I expected. My GOTY in a year with Elden Ring.

    Edit: Honestly forgot the combat, a historical sore point for the series which is actually extremely good this time around with a fun varied moveset and a skill tree that keeps things fresh. But I truly enjoyed the game from start to finish. Exploring the islands, collecting the chaos emeralds, finding memory tokens, fishing, and fighting the bosses as Super Sonic were all enjoyable to play.     An unreal experience, you have to turn speed and all other options up to 100 and play on hard mode. Only bad things are render distance, cyberspace controls are a bit wonky, and giving just a little more life to the world. Otherwise 10/10

    Sonic really does feel great to control in this one, possibly the best ground control he has ever had. It is just fun to move around as sonic let alone doing anything else. However the main bulk of the game is spent acquiring different collectibles through platforming challenges and other means like puzzles and combat, which while might not seem to mesh together too well from the outside, it actually works really well in practice!

    The combat is a huge step up from any sonic game and the enemies have depth, while the moves themselves are fun to pull off. Sonic has many different ways to approach enemies, like the tower who you can fight by taking out his lower bits first or you can climb him when he presents the opening and take out the top, instantly destroying every bottom but making him vulnerable if he isn't already dead.

    The cyberspace levels are ok overall, and the physics aren't nearly as good as the open world, however it is still pretty fun. The 2d sky sanctuary level kinda sucks tho as generations classic sonic level design just doesn't work in this game. The cyberspace stages truly shine towards the end of the game!

    The bosses are easily the best in the series, and that's as much as I'll say without spoilers! You want to experience this yourself!

    The music is amazing as usual, one of the best sonic osts with tracks to fit every situation. The visuals are nice but the pop in is a major issue that should be fixed with a potential frontiers 2

    Overall this game is worth your time and money, you won't be dissapointed! Have fun, and enjoy because Sega finally got it right!    … Expand

    This game is perfect the control the island there are so many challenges and combats and when you lvl up youre speed Sonic goes crazy fast the Story is a little bit dark and i love it my review buy the game it’s totally worth it.

    Finally, after almost 25years of half measures and mostly mediocre titles, Sonic has finally reached the 3D levels of gameplay it needed to reach. Yes, the pop in is absolutely inexcusable and the ancient gatekeeping grindy methods damage the flow of the game for no reason, but a wonderfully built base exists here, with a highly entertaining adventure in wonderfully melancholic world and a surprisingly well founded story, thankfully clean of Sonic’s annoying 3rd tier friends!
