    Modern Sonic is back! This is my favourite game now dethroning unleashed and its all deserved. From the open world exploring to the blast from the past cyberspace levels(with some great new additions too) to the climatic titan boss battles, this game is an incredible experience. The Story is good and the characters are well written with actual dialogue and cutscenes. The jokes don't feelModern Sonic is back! The jokes don't feel forced or aren't funny and instead flow in perfectly while keeping the games serious tones. The character interaction is the best we've ever seen in the series and each of the characters relations with each other are greatly displayed. However the game does has it flaws but the pros so massively outweigh its cons that I can't help but overlook some of them because the game is still so fun to play.
    Now I hope Sega continue with this new identity for the franchise and expand upon it through DLC and a sequel.    … Expand

    My new favorite in the franchise sitting beautifully next to the Sonic Adventures series. The variety in enemy encounters per island and the go at your own pace vibe that the open world creates is one of the best I've encountered. The mixture of realism and animation always looks good and the soundtrack is stellar. If you expect to 100% this game get ready to sink some heavy hours into aMy new favorite in the franchise sitting beautifully next to the Sonic Adventures series.     Just an all around epic time with the blue blur! It’s a bit of a proof of concept and has some room to grow, but if you’ve at all been a fan of the series in 3D, you owe it to yourself to give it a try. The physics could be more satisfying, but it still allows you to pull off some impressive feats of speed in both the overworld and cyber space

    Without a doubt, one of the best Sonic experiences I've played so far, a little janky at times, but it doesn't detract from my enjoyment traversing through the islands. And the combat truly sets a new standard for Sonic from now on.

    This is probably the best sonic game in over a decade. After sonic forces sonic team really gave it their all here.
    Though frontiers has a really bad pop in issue. I feel the fun gameplay kinda makes it not that much of a problem in the long run.

    Sonic Frontiers is the best Sonic game in the entire franchise!

    This game in it of itself is a masterpiece regardless of Sonic games! The open world is so fun to explore and you can run freely and platform at full speed and fight enemies, bosses and Titans, it's so fun! You can also combat and fight a lot of unique enemies and bosses, and unlock a lot of new combat moves and    Sonic Frontiers is the best Sonic game in the entire franchise!

    This game in it of itself is a masterpiece regardless of Sonic games!

    The open world is so fun to explore and you can run freely and platform at full speed and fight enemies, bosses and Titans, it's so fun!

    You can also combat and fight a lot of unique enemies and bosses, and unlock a lot of new combat moves and skills, at the skill tree!

    You can also upgrade Sonic, you can upgrade his strength, speed, ring capacity and defense!

    The story is the best out of the whole franchise, and the voice acting is very good, Roger Craig Smith did an amazing job as the voice of Sonic!

    The music in this game is incredible and it's the best music in the entire franchise!

    The Super Sonic fights against the Titans were amazing and some of the best fights in a video game!

    The 5 years wait was definitely worth it.

    Unexpected and raw diamond! Never played a Sonic game before. Did not expect a lot from this one. BUT: awesome atmosphere (a bit melancholic) with great music score and lonely feeling worlds (just a bit like the NieR games). Well, the graphics are certainly not current gen (i think not even 60FPS on PS5 and XSX), but gameplay and exploration compensate. A well hidden gem and certainly anyUnexpected and raw diamond!     The game looks ugly but it is pretty fun. My first 7 hours playing it seems like just 1h. I didn't see any bug besides the pop in of items. As a fan of 2D Sonic, I'm glad that finally we have a enjoyable 3D Sonic. If you are a Sonic fan, you can buy it for sure. If you are in doubt, maybe you should wait for a lower price.

    Sonic Frontiers is finally a return to form for the Modern Sonic universe, and I couldn’t be happier. I’m in Island 4 as of righting this and it’s already a top 3D Sonic game, bar none. Sonic frontiers is genuinely a great game, and there are literally so many little things that could be done to make it an actual masterpiece. I’m so excited.

    By far the best Sonic game I’ve ever played. The gameplay loop is addicting. The “open-zone” is fun to traverse and explore due to the floating rails, springs, and platforms. It feels like a playground or a skate park. Enemies, especially mini-bosses, have really interesting gimmicks.

    Sonic Frotniers es el juego que todos los fans de sonic llevamos esperando mas de 15 años, el sonic team con 5 años de desarrollo, una inspiración en shadow of the collossus y en botw ha conseguido crear una verdadera obre maestra, que pese a algunos fallos sin mas, convierte a sonic frontiers en el mejor juego de sonic jamás concebido, y tambien lo convierte en una nueva era para elSonic Frotniers es el juego que todos los fans de sonic llevamos esperando mas de 15 años, el sonic team con 5 años de desarrollo, una inspiración en shadow of the collossus y en botw ha conseguido crear una verdadera obre maestra, que pese a algunos fallos sin mas, convierte a sonic frontiers en el mejor juego de sonic jamás concebido, y tambien lo convierte en una nueva era para el erizo, la era de la libertad, tiene una jugabilidad exquisita con un control del personaje practicamente perfecto, un sistema de exploracion innovador y que le viene como anillo al dedo a la velocidad del erizo, un combate sublime, y, que para ser de una franquicia algo mas infantil, no tiene nada que envidiar a los mejores hack-n slash de la historia (salvando obviamente las distancias), destacando las peleas contra los titanes, que sencillamente, rozan la perfección, en cuanto a la historia, en mi opinion es la mejor historia jamas contada en la franquicia, con una narrativa muy interesante que le da una gran profundidad a los personajes, hablando de estos, vuelven a tener un desarrollo a la altura de los adventure, por fin despues de tantos años, los personajes secundarios se sienten vivos e importantes en la historia, amy, tails y knuckles estan muy bien, pero quienes se llevan la palma no son otros que sonic, eggman y sage, el erizo es sin mas el que hace entender ciertas cosas a los co-protagonistas en este juego, su relacion con knuckles me encanta, pero lo mejor sin duda, es que ha vuelto a ser el sonic de antes, vuelve a ser un vacilon pero que sabe ponerse enserio cuando hay que hacerlo, eggman y sage tienen un desarrollo y una historia que me ha encantado, aunque no dire nada por spoilers, merece la pena vivir esta historia en tus propios ojos. En cuanto a la banda sonora, como era de esperar en un juego de sonic, es sencillamente casi perfecta, en cuanto a detalles sonoros, es muy comodo escuchar las acciones de Sonic en este mundo abierto, que tiene un diseño de nivel increible.     È un gioco geniale. Non troppo punitivo almeno c'è un buon tasso di sfida. Non mi sono mai divertito finora predilige un approccio piuttosto semplice. Ha una bella premessa narrativa non troppo prolisse come Kojima. Mi ricorda il ritmo di Nier Automata molto Nier Replicant. Consigliatissimo finale commovente. Spero che mettano una nuova isola a DLC con biomi diversi dato che prevedeÈ un gioco geniale. Non troppo punitivo almeno c'è un buon tasso di sfida.     Absolutely one of the best Sonic Games to date. The Gameplay is Super Addicting and Fun! The Music is absolutely beautiful, and Graphics as well. Animations are really good! Story is Phenomenal! This is an easy 10/10 game.

    I just 100% completed Sonic Frontiers and I got to say, what a fun ride it was. From start to finish I enjoyed everything about this game. The story, the gameplay, the world and the music were all beautifully crafted. This is definitely the best Sonic game we have had in a VERY long time.     We finally have it, guys, this is officially the end of the Colors Era, Sonic is back, baby! This game is awesome and puts a great foundation for the next Sonic games of this decade, It's nice to finally have a good Sonic game, since last decade we had only a single Sonic game that was worth anything (Sonic Generations, I'm not counting Mania because it's not by Sonic Team).

    the best sonic game in years,Sonic's movement is so good and fluid that it's nice to play it, it's been a while since I had such a fun time with a game, cyber space is fun too, this is the path that I should follow in future games, I recommend it

    Words can not describe how great this game is. I feel like Sega and Sonic Team made lackluster games for years to make us hate the franchise, only to pull off this Masterpiece of a game. Any critic who gave this game anything less than a 9/90, is smoking something.

    Sonic frontiers is an amazing game it is up there with sonic unleashed and sonic adventure 1 and 2 its graphics are amazing its game design is on point and the game play loop doesn't get boring sonic feels amazing and the story is great I highly recommend this game 10/10 from me

    * Pero. y es un gran pero. Si te gusta Sonic y este juego te llamo la atención, no lo dudes. Es un juego muy divertido, con una historia muy interesante y bien explicada. Y sobre todo lleno de horas de entretenimiento para aquellos jugadores que le gusta sacar el 100% y conseguir todos los coleccionables.

    Estoy seguro que el Team Sonic, tomará nota y en futuras entregas mejorara muchas cosas. Pero ahora mismo esto para mi es uno de mis imprescindibles del año. Un juego con el que estoy disfrutando como un niño. Y probablemente una de las mejores compras que he podido hacer en 2022    … Expand

The last two island were a little bit disappointing but very enjoyable. All of the bosses are insane, the open zone seems empty but is very well made and cyberspace isn’t that bad.     This game is simply amazing. I never had this much fun with a sonic game since unleashed 14 years ago. This is the best 3d sonic game ever. The combat is fun, the world is beautiful and the exploration never felt boring. The bosses are the best in the series. The music is top notch. The story reminds me of the 2000's a lot (in a good way) and the dialogue and characterization are perfect.This game is simply amazing.     La verdad que un juegazo!
    En el apartado sonoro muy interesante, con un repertorio bastante amplios de temas tanto chill como heavy metal.
    En cuestión gráfica, mucho mejor que Sonic Forces y la verdad que tiene un estilo artístico buenísimo.

    while the game has some jank and the cycle for progression can get a little boring late into the game. that's not to say that this is a bad game. i had a lot of fun with it. this is a good game that's a bit rough around the edges. but a good first step that can be easily improved on in the future.

    Sonic Frontiers is a really fun Game. It makes you feel like Sonic, IGN would say that. The Combat is fun, the Speed is very fast at the end of the game, Story is very good, and Open Zones are alright. The Pop In is a big problem, and some missions on the Open Zones are very borng. But Sonic Frontiers is a great step in the future of Sonics Gameplay!

    Sonic Frontiers feels fleshed out, like Sonic Team has finally found out what they want and how their going to do it. The combat is fun, appeasing to look at, and feels like your doing something instead of hitting the homing attack button over and over again. Ian Flynn writing the story gives all the characters such a more fleshed out appearance, and keeping the story closely knit. EachSonic Frontiers feels fleshed out, like Sonic Team has finally found out what they want and how their going to do it.     I love this game with all my heart. I'm really glad to see the team have their passion back and can only hope they keep the upward spiral going. This entry hit all the right notes for me. The story, the epic bosses, minibosses, freedom of traversal, Sonics handling and overall tone of the game exceeded every single one of my expectations.     There is nothing remotely redeeming about this game. Nothing that even the most die-hard loyal Sonic Fans would or should advocate for. I hope that one day someone who cares enough about this franchise could give us something-anything of substance. A fan can hope, can’t they? A fan can hope.

    Finally, after almost 25years of half measures and mostly mediocre titles, Sonic has finally reached the 3D levels of gameplay it needed to reach. Yes, the pop in is absolutely inexcusable and the ancient gatekeeping grindy methods damage the flow of the game for no reason, but a wonderfully built base exists here, with a highly entertaining adventure in wonderfully melancholic world and a surprisingly well founded story, thankfully clean of Sonic’s annoying 3rd tier friends!
