    Creo que narrativamente puede dar mucho más de sí, pero es un derroche de creatividad, espectacularidad y buen hacer. Es simplemente un juego muy agradable y divertido de jugar, y lo más impresionante a nivel técnico que he visto en lo que va de generación.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart is an amazing game and is the best game in the series. The game utilizes the SSD capabilities for new capabilities for example you go through an interdimensional gate there are no loading times at all and the transition is immediate and does not impair the flow of the game, and the graphics wow !!!!! This game is one of the most beautiful games I have seen in my life, amazing that we were able to get to the graphics levels of a Pixar movie and it is just amazing. The gameplay in the game is very fun and identical to the gameplay of the previous game in the series "Ratchet & Clank" which came out in 2016 with new additions that I will let you experience for yourself. The story in the game is just great and it manages to convey it to us in an interesting funny and fun way I will not give spoilers to the plot so as not to ruin your experience. Ratchet & Clank is an excellent simple game and I recommend to anyone who buys a PlayStation 5 and wants a game that will show him the next generation of games to buy this game because it will really provide you with what you are looking for.… Expand

    Another mediocre, lazy effort, run of the mill third person kids action adventure - wasn't this done to death back in the PS3 era?

    Sorry, but I expect more than a kids action adventure on the "next gen" platform I paid $500 for.

    This game is a wonderful delight for every age! Took me about 25 hours to 100% complete it with Platinum and the NG+ offers some more progression which adds to the replay value. Graphics are incredible Pixar movie like quality and performance is stable too with no crashes at all. This is how a game should be released these days!     After completing the game, I have so many different feelings: the story was amazing, the details & graphics were astonishing, the introduction of Rivet & Kit and the switching gameplay from one character to another made the game awesome and fun to play! Loved the cinematics too, really felt like you were playing in a movie and you lived like the character.

    2021 just started and after a mixed skepticism I had with the Ratchet and Clank 2015 sequel-boot, R&C: Rift Apart is the best entry since Tools of Destruction. This game is gorgeous with each and every captivating detail that perfectly captures what the power of the PS5 can do and it's insane. The technical capabilities such as the visual enhancement modes, sound mixing, haptic dualsense2021 just started and after a mixed skepticism I had with the Ratchet and Clank 2015 sequel-boot, R&C: Rift Apart is the best entry since Tools of Destruction. This game is gorgeous with each and every captivating detail that perfectly captures what the power of the PS5 can do and it's insane. The technical capabilities such as the visual enhancement modes, sound mixing, haptic dualsense feedback, visual effects, and overall presentation is what shines throughout Ratchet and Clank's latest space adventure that made an exhilarating first impression on the PS5. Let's not forget that Rivet and Kit made a fantastic feminine duo that made this entry unique and they're very well written.     This game is, without a doubt, essential if you own a PS5. The visuals are just stunning. Perhaps the best looking game on PS5 so far with Demon's Souls. As of everything else, this game shines as well.

    The gameplay is tons of fan with incredibly good variety of weapons, great use of DualSense and way better abilities that make the gameplay tons of more fun than the other of the series.    This game is, without a doubt, essential if you own a PS5. The visuals are just stunning. Perhaps the best looking game on PS5 so far with Demon's Souls. As of everything else, this game shines as well.

    The gameplay is tons of fan with incredibly good variety of weapons, great use of DualSense and way better abilities that make the gameplay tons of more fun than the other of the series.

    Also, for the fans of the explorers in games like me, I must say that it felt way more open to exploring and I loved that. But, this created another problem as well: Some bugs with textures, which are minor per se, but they is a fair amount of them. Bus don't appear only on exploring, but you experience them while playing in general. But, nothing is game breaking, and they are extremely minor in a sense where you don't mind at all.

    As of the story, it's simple and nothing special, but it's charming with some funny moments and characters.

    Another thing I want to point out specifically, because I found it as an amazing addition, are the mods and cosmetics Insomniac added if you collect side items making them way more important than just to 100%.

    This game is amazing. No other game offers as many weapons as this one and that makes combat extremely fun. It also uses all the features of the dualsense which makes the game more immersive, it’s incredible. Additionally, this game has an entertaining story with great voice acting which makes the characters likable. The animations are great along with the performance and graphics.This game is amazing.     The game is short, around 10 hours but I enjoy it more than longer games with boring side quests like Witcher 3 or Assassin’s creed. Definitely needs more boss battles and variety in enemies. It’s not challenging enough for experienced players.    … Expand

    Level Design;
    RIft apart has one of the best level design in any game. The level designs are so deep that even the objects that are so far away feel lively and convincing enough that their existence isn't merely a to fill the 3d space. Right from the city to grasslands to the pub, I was stunned by how well designed the level and how deep the subtle things in the level are. Ex: In the gastro pub, a waitress goes to each table to get the order, people are drinking, some are dancing, bartender even mixes the cocktail, you can feel the musical vibrations if you go closer to the music etc.

    Dialogue delivery: This is exactly why I like Insomniac games and what I missed in Spider man games. After playing Sunset Overdrive, this is the game where they revived the wittiness of what Insomniac games are made of, their subtle take on capitalism got my attention!

    Game length: I know this is controversial topic but I think the game length is okay. At least for me, personally, as I don't have time to play hours and hours anymore. Moreover, I honestly feel it's better to make a great game even if it's shorter than make a lengthy one with too much grind and repetitiveness.

    Narration: The characters portray emotions well and doesn't feel superficial. invoking empathy in games isn't common and I was pleasantly surprised to see Rift Apart acing this aspect of the game.

    Overall, I can go on talking about other stuff like funny weapons, humorous bosses, weird enemies who ask for a raise in their pay, insane loading times which are non existent, haptic feedback as good as Astro's playroom etc. This game is a masterpiece. Period.    … Expand

    Spectacular game that really showcases the PS5 and DualSense and is just tons of fun to play. The visuals are stunning, the gameplay is smooth as butter, there's a huge variety of weapons, and the pacing is damn near perfect. My only complaints are the very low difficulty (I don't play a lot of shooters and I had to adjust the difficulty to "Very Hard" over the course of the game to getSpectacular game that really showcases the PS5 and DualSense and is just tons of fun to play. The visuals are stunning, the gameplay is smooth as butter, there's a huge variety of weapons, and the pacing is damn near perfect.     Ich bin wirklich kein übergroßer Ratchet & Clank Spiel und das obwohl ich bis jetzt jedes Spiel gespielt habe, egal ob auf Heimonsolen, oder auf den Handhelds, aber dieses Spiel hat mich wirklich überrascht, abgesehen von der unfassbar schönen und spektakulären Grafik, hat dieses Spiel auch noch so viel mehr zu bieten. Die Geschichte ist sehr spannend und an manchen Punkten extremIch bin wirklich kein übergroßer Ratchet & Clank Spiel und das obwohl ich bis jetzt jedes Spiel gespielt habe, egal ob auf Heimonsolen, oder auf den Handhelds, aber dieses Spiel hat mich wirklich überrascht, abgesehen von der unfassbar schönen und spektakulären Grafik, hat dieses Spiel auch noch so viel mehr zu bieten. Die Geschichte ist sehr spannend und an manchen Punkten extrem spektakulär inszeniert (Ich sage nur die Flucht vor der Krake), zudem gefallen mir die neuen Protagonisten Rivet und Kid auch extrem, sie sind lustig, liebenswert und haben zudem jeweils eine sehr gute Hintergrund Geschichte, das einzige was man dem Spiel vorwerfen kann ist die extrem kurze Spielzeit von etwa 6 Stunden, denn sogar das für die kurze Spielzeit von Fans gehasste (aber von mir trotzdem geliebte) The Order 1868 hat immerhin eine Story die etwa 10 Stunden umfasst. Auch wenn diese kurze Spielzeit durchaus schade ist und man für 70€ eigentlich mehr bekommen sollte muss ich dem Spiel einfach 10 Punkte geben.
    Ich kann jedem einzelnen, egal ob groß, oder klein nur empfehlen dieses Spiel zu spielen.

    Le pongo un 8 porque me ha parecido espectacular pero es corto, ya que en 17 horas me he pasado el juego y conseguido el platino. Por lo demás es una gran muestra de lo que es capaz PS5 haciendo que por ejemplo en una pelea de un boss cambies de escenario unas 5 veces, eso es bastante innovador y tiene una gran variedad de arsenal e incluso en new game + esas armas tienen una mejora queLe pongo un 8 porque me ha parecido espectacular pero es corto, ya que en 17 horas me he pasado el juego y conseguido el platino. Por lo demás es una gran muestra de lo que es capaz PS5 haciendo que por ejemplo en una pelea de un boss cambies de escenario unas 5 veces, eso es bastante innovador y tiene una gran variedad de arsenal e incluso en new game + esas armas tienen una mejora que hace que sea rejugable para desbloquearlas.     La verdad es que desde chico he sido fan de Ratchet y Clank up your arsenal, Tools of destruction y A crack in time es uno de los títulos que logre jugar y son una maravilla innegablemente pero Rift apart pese a no ser mi favorito logro ganarse mi corazon y muchas risas es maravilloso las armas, las mecánicas de portales, las bestias, lo hermoso de los niveles y la gran historia sonLa verdad es que desde chico he sido fan de Ratchet y Clank up your arsenal, Tools of destruction y A crack in time es uno de los títulos que logre jugar y son una maravilla innegablemente pero Rift apart pese a no ser mi favorito logro ganarse mi corazon y muchas risas es maravilloso las armas, las mecánicas de portales, las bestias, lo hermoso de los niveles y la gran historia son fabulosas es mi segundo favorito de la saga y de momento en mi opinión en mejor juego de ps5 tanto exclusivos como multis.     R&C: Rift Apart is breathtaking. It is absolutely stunning to look at in almost every corner. From the insane details on the character models to the gorgeous backdrops in the numerous worlds I visited, this is easily the most beautiful R&C yet. The presentation here is next to none. Alongside the returning protagonists, new additional characters are added to the roster. These additions were welcoming and a nice contrast. The one thing that I still can’t get over is how well this game ran on the PS5. I had no crashes or glitches, and very few bugs (clipping through the ground). I was amazed during my entire playthrough that all of this was running at a smooth framerate and resolution.

    Perhaps the biggest weakness in this game is the lack of diversity in gameplay when compared to its previous titles. I was really hoping by adding new characters to play you would see differentiation in gameplay. Perhaps certain weapons/gadgets/puzzles are locked off to certain characters, but this never happens as the narrative explains that the four playable characters mirror each other. Moreover, there are only four new weapons added and a slight tweak to an existing gadget. The gameplay here is near identical to the previous titles, which I found to be very disappointing considering that this is a AAA $USD 69.99 game. This brings me to my final point: replayability. When I played the 2016 R&C there were trophies pushing me to upgrade each weapon, collect all the collectibles, upgrading my character, and more which resulted in me playing the story 5 times. This time around all the trophies can be achieved in one playthrough and the first five minutes of challenge mode (buying one additional weapon). Which for me was a bummer as I didn’t see fit to return to the game any time soon.

    There is not enough variety in the types of zones. Most of the game you are cleaning of enemies zones and it becomes tedious.
    Although Insomniac tried to make it less noticeable adding lots of weapons or other playable characters at the end it is boring. There are other zone types: Exploratory, puzzle, races and    Visually it is gorgeous. The main problem comes in with the gameplay.

    Either way it is not 10 out of 10 game. Don't listen to those ppl.     Awesome looking game with a great combat system. Can be played quickly or slowly with many choices during fights, due to a big amount of upgradeable guns and other gameplay mechanics. With around 15 to 20 hours for some people maybe a bit too short, but i extremly enjoyed this wonderfull game.

    Overall excellent game. Rivet and Kit are great additions to the universe, and the multitude of worlds/dimensions are very fun to explore. Not overly difficult and not too long, but always keeps you engaged and having fun. Highly recommend.

    This game is just soooo much fun. That is what it is all about and it nails it perfectly. Completed the story last night and now going for 100%. It is a great game after a long day to sit back and just enjoy gaming! Alot of games now adays miss this but Ratchet and Rivet, I mean Ratchet and Clank....knocks it out of the galaxy.

    For round about 70€ in the EU, this game simply has way to less content. The main story is quite short (10h), and I managed it to get the 100% in just round about 13 hours. Unlike the previous Ratchet and Clank where they opted for a trans-media experience with an animated film, here they did nothing of that and it is applauded since the character is not at all charismatic.    … Expand

As someone who isn’t well traveled in the R&C series, I felt right at home the entire game! It’s hard to do that with a series as old as R&C, making it inviting to newcomers and old fans. I only have 2 complaints that hold it back from a 10 (both of which are easily fixable with a later patch) Occasionally Ratchet or Rivet would momentarily get stuck in the geometry of the environments when using the rocket boots, not gamebreaking at all but it would halt my pace randomly & leave me confused for a few seconds as to why I stopped in a wide open field. The other issue is during the Clank sections, it didn’t happen at every Clank level but in half of them I ran into a weird graphical glitch, it’s a little hard to describe but the entire background would get these black “scratch” looking things that would flash VERY quickly & hurt my eyes. It would be all over the environment too. The only way to get through it was to either physically walk Clank into them so they’d disappear (they’d reappear if you got far enough away) or try to complete the section with them giving me a headache. Did anyone else run into this?? Aside from those minor flaws, the rest of the game is so incredibly polished that I was actually stunned most of the time I was playing. Last time I experienced something so meticulously crafted with love like this was both of The Last Of Us games. The attention to detail is just.. immaculate. Every environment is gorgeous, all of the characters are charming and heartwarming, the story is extremely engaging till the end & has so much heart & genuine stakes. Dr. Nefarious remains as entertaining as ever & EMPEROR Nefarious is just as intriguing & is one of the best villains I’ve seen in a while, he’s actually intimidating! His accent & demeanor are badass too. The Dualsense feedback is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced playing a game, Rift Apart is THE new standard everyone else has to catch up to. One of the best games I’ve ever played hands down. If you’re fortunate enough to get a PS5, play this game. You will never regret it. I really hope Ratchet & Clank doesn’t take as much time off as they did with the PS4 era, because I’m BEGGING to see more.… Expand

    There isn't much depth in this game and the xploration is not very rewarding. They needed to add a bit more tatical character building stuff that you needed to use on harder difficulty for the adults and hardcore gamers. As it is now it's perfect for a casual gamer or kids, but of you don't fit in to those categories then you will be bored pretty quickly like I was.

    I love Ratchet & Clank. However, a lot of the previous games after the second or third one got very repetitive and nothing really new was really brought to the table besides the story switching up. This game, on the other hand, felt new and much more different. I thought the series was dying out, but after this game, I am happy to say that Ratchet & Clank is back!

    Insomniac Games is setting a new standard for quality within its own genre. This game is finished down to the last detail and looks, feels and plays as a AAA experience. Beautiful and well-designed worlds, each with their own look and feel, fluid combat that makes the weapons feel better than ever and well-written and designed characters that actually enrich the story. A future Ratchet and Clank without counterpart Rivet is already unimaginable.

    It's clear that the PS5's SSD comes into its own as you teleport through these worlds. Even though the game worlds are full of moving details and elements and you pull entire dimensions towards you, loading screens no longer occur and the gameplay is rock solid in 60fps with raytracing.

    The Dualsense has also been used extremely well by making almost every weapon feel and sound unique because of the adaptive triggers en build in speaker.

    It is rare but the only 'point of criticism' for me personally is the in-game flying mechanic. But if that's all, you can call this game pretty much perfect.

    Rift Apart is a really good game, it's fun and very enjoyable. But I think Insomniac played it very safe. The story is just OK, i expected the story to teach more about the Lombax and at the end it focused more on Rivet than Ratchet and Clank. The gameplay and soundtrack are perfect. The thing that i dislike more about this game is the amount of glitches and bugs i encounter in myRift Apart is a really good game, it's fun and very enjoyable. But I think Insomniac played it very safe. The story is just OK, i expected the story to teach more about the Lombax and at the end it focused more on Rivet than Ratchet and Clank. The gameplay and soundtrack are perfect. The thing that i dislike more about this game is the amount of glitches and bugs i encounter in my playthrough, i haven't being able to 100% the game because of a glitch is not letting me get the last golden bolt. It's really frustrating. So this game is an 8 imo, not the best R&C, not the best PS5 exclusive but a good game nonetheless… Expand

    The Gameplay is excellent and the graphics are marvellous. The story is very interesting and enjoyable as well. I think there is room for a sequel with more background about the history of the Lombaxes. The weapons level up slower and differently than in the 2016 game but other than that I didn't find anything that was mindnumming. Great game

    It is a beautiful game, but I encountered a ton of glitches in my play through. I had multiple boss fights freeze, or I would clip through the map after traveling through rifts. The worst clip happened on the final boss fight and kind of killed the moment for me. Overall, I enjoyed the game, but I have like 15 minutes of 30 second clips of glitches saved on my console because of this game.

    This game felt like a true next gen game. There was perfect balance of gameplay including side axtivities, main story, combat. Nothing felt over exagarrated or boring. It was all the right amount to make you never put the controller down. I bought it at full price and it was totally worth it. Crazy part being that it was my first ever ratchet and clank game !!!

    One of the first real reasons to buy PS5. This intergalactic adventure of famous series is full of great gameplay, inventive game design, gripping story, and great characters. It's a game for everyone who owns PS5. Actually, it’s a game for everyone.

    What’s so good about this installment of Ratchet and Clank is that it is a true labor of love. There is no other way a game can feel so good, play so well, and take you on an impressive adventure all without that special ingredient to keep it going. The definition of a next-gen title, Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart is a must-play that will leave you super satisfied and hungry for another big game like this one.

    The experience is so captivating, you’ll probably want to blast through the entire 10-15 hour story in one go. But the final is really disappointing: basically, the entire game is just a warm-up, while the important events will happen in the next one. [Issue#254, p.36]
